To everyone who hasn’t been on this ride; you can smell the sea and feel the breeze and little water droplets and you can even feel the creature breathing under you
I've waited over 2 hours for this ride and I'll never regret it if you go there and the lines are 3 hours long it's worth the wait plus the waiting line is so beautiful
I was hyped after this ride, too bad the people I was with got a little disoriented after the ride so it killed the mood a bit but best ride imo Disney world has hands down
I went to Disney world Florida for this specific ride and it was so beautiful. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time. The immersion was so realistic and once the ride was done I didn't realize I was crying. I wish I could forget the ride so I can have that first time experience again!
@apocalypsewhen No they do not unfortunately! You sit on a motorcycle style seat, and the ride is done with 3D glasses. Trust me though, it’s extremely mesmerizing. nothing like it in this world
After seeing “the way of water,” I realized that the segment here in the ocean uses the same animals that are in the movie! It’s cool that the imagineers seem to have been working with the creative team from the films to incorporate stuff that hadn’t been released yet.
If I remember correctly, the ride and the land was modeled after the 5th Avatar movie so we are going to see elements from all those movies in the land in some form or another
The design of the Tulkun seemed slightly different though. I do think it's also kinda cool to see some of the different stages of design that all the creatures went through before their final appearance in the movie.
@@julianvdr8808 That's because they're not Tulkun, it's actually a totally different creature called the Nalutsa, which takes aspects of sharks and whales, it was created for the ride, but I think it can be seen in the movie when Jake and his family are flying over the sea.
The best part about this ride was the immersion. You really sit on this motorcycle-like contraption that moves forward and upwards to simulate the bird movement. You can even feel the animal breath in and out! If this wasnt enough already, they even decided to make the movie 4-D, meaning you can feel sprays of water hit your face when you fly through the ocean splashes. The part that really surprised me was when me and my girlfriend noticed they added specific scents to correspond to wherever you were in the movie/ride.
duwude The 4D is really executed masterfully, with the ocean spray I was already feeling I nearly expected to get soaked by that giant wave! But then we shoot the tube ON A BANSHEE! Good lord I love this ride
Yep. The actual mechanics of the ride are fairly simple (more or less a more advanced version of Soarin') but the level of execution that the team behind this thing managed to pull off led tonan experience that is just amazing.
I cannot explain it well but everyday life feels "less real" the moment this ride ends and you're back in Disney World. It must be the adrenaline rush during the flight! It's so immersive!
flight of passage is introduced as a ceremonial experience , it contains elements that are "recognized" by ones deep human understanding and possibly for some ones own inner atavistc memorys ,, why is it so emotional ? because of the immersive engagement of these layers of deep inner recognition, The film's story and experience does this as well. We all know "I see you" that clever na'vi catch phrase and the importance its essence meaning ,, well its essence runs a lot deeper and much more down to earth then one thinks ,,Ask the Zulu of its roots and that's only one layer of many ua-cam.com/video/2IjUkVZRPK8/v-deo.html its a mirror story with a number of real world "reflections" and quite humbling as well /

This ride blew every ride I've ever been on out of the water. The details and the feeling and the immersion was unlike anything I have ever experienced and it made me smile in wonder the entire time to the point where I almost shed a year of happiness and excitement. The wait time is absolutely worth it cause no ride I've ever been on made me feel the way this did

The best ride of all time. Brought such a unique sense of joy and wonder I only ever felt watching the original Avatar in 2009. Edit: And Avatar 2 in 2022
@@MrSharenko the Disney imagineers actually built pandora to take place after avatar 5 so a lot of stuff will be noticed as more and more movies release. That's why the Na'vi are so comfortable with humans being able to take place with such a sacred ritual as flying on a banshee. It's supposed to be like cultural enrichment lol.
i remember going on this ride back in 2019, it was breath taking, you could smell and feel what was going on around you, and the saddle/seat you were sitting in would rock and tilt, you could feel the extreme wind on your cheeks. it was awesome. if you ever go to animal kingdom this is a must, its a once in a lifetime experience.
Rise of the resistance did step up, I love the avatar ride its great. But went 2 weeks ago to Star Wars and its a completely new technology incorporated into Disney you feel like you are in the movie.. Totally recommend Rise of the resistance ride
The worst part of this ride is landing with the ocean out there in front of you, because you know the ride is about to end...😩 Such an amazing ride, If I could go back and ride something for the first time again it would be this. But I still adore it after 3 rides. I have to go back! 😍
This ride is unforgettable, I still think about it up to this day (I went 6 years ago). We queued up for over two hours and every minute was wroth waiting. The ride was actually incredible and I will never ever forget it. The next day we had to go on it again, so we bought a fast pass.
I literally almost cried after this ride. So beautiful, amazing and realistic. It’s been almost 1 week since I went to Disney but I can’t get out of this attraction. 1000% recommend!!
Not only is this ride super cool, but the queue is really cool too! There’s different caves, and there’s parts of it that have the plants and one part of the line is a lab. It’s super cool
This ride was insanely beautiful and realistic. It’s got all of the best elements of Soarin but it’s so much better! The water spray and the breeze, along with the smell of nature and the feeling of the banchee breath beneath you. This ride is absolutely brilliant!!!
Why suprised? I mean Cameron has probably been working on the sequels for the last 10 years, and since nobody knew back then that the whales would have such a great meaning in the first sequel, it wasn't a spoiler or anything.
Came back here because James Cameron mentioned that the creatures in Avatar: Way of Water were in this ride and they are!!! I also read somewhere that with the upcoming avatar sequels, they’ll modify this ride accordingly which is even cooler lol
I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one that cried on this ride! Something about it was just so beautiful, it brought me to actual tears. That's the magic of Disney for ya I suppose!
This is the best ride I’ve ever been on. Waited 2 hours. So worth the wait. This ride makes you want to move to pandora. Soo so so good!! You can feel smell hear everything even the animal breathing in between your legs. 10/10 ❤
When I was on this ride with my family, we loved it so much that we went back to the ride at least 6x in a row! After all these years, this is still my favorite.
I just went today! Amazing experience and easily worth the hour wait time. I still have adrenaline and lightheaded from all the incredible sights. It’s like you’re really there!
This is my All Time Favorite Ride at Disney World. Breathtaking!!! PS - anyone notice when on the ride that when your in the bioluminescent cave the picture is fuzzy. Even in this video the whole experience is pretty clear except that part.
Rode it two days ago and it still has an hour long wait time. But it’s worth every second, I almost cried, it’s the most fun and most beautiful ride I’ve ever been on.
i already cry just seeing this video, wonder how its feel like experiencing it real..would probably travel to US for this remarkable place. im from Malaysia :)
I remember riding this on opening day. Waited like 1 hour to get into Pandora. Then another 5 hours to get on the ride. At the end it was all worth it! The raw experience of everyone riding it for the first time was breathtaking. Especially after waiting that long! The feeling was so unreal. I've never felt like that with anything at Disney before lol.
Amazing quality and by far the best I’ve seen. Amazing work! Not even 1/10 of the full experience for this ride but that’s the closest you can get for a UA-cam video
Went on this ride yesterday and it was the best! Amazing how you feel the lungs breathing of your banshee between your thighs. Worth every min of the wait.
I done it while at animal kingdom and it definitely was worth the wait and to do it! Unreal how you really feel like you are flying! It was truly my favorite ride at Disney
POV: You are waiting to ride on this lol. Ok so now i did, it was the best experience i've ever had, two words to describe it is: Beautyful and glorious at the same time. I almost cry lol.
I literally cried while on this ride because it was so breathtaking. It's like you are actually there, you feel and smell everything. You can even feel your banshee breathing on the sides of your legs...
This is the most beautiful, inspirational, peaceful, fun, stunning ride I’ve ever been on! Absolutely speechless. 10000% must ride/experience! If you’ve seen the movies you’ll appreciate it more! I got teary eyed on this ride, I really felt like I was on Pandora in an Avatar body. Great ride! 😍🥲✅
Best EVER! Did it twice today! Idc what you say about virtual rides... THIS.. is the realest! Even mists your face when you fly through the mist. This video does little justice to the experience but worth the watch!
The wait in line was almost 3 hours. Crazy!! I crossed over into the fast pass line and got in after less than 30 minutes. It was beautiful. I love it.
Honestly I can't even begin to describe how it feels when you're on this ride except that it feels real. It feels so real. And I've never experienced anything so amazing and breathtaking.
When I heard how this ride operated, I couldn’t understand why people were so obsessed with it, but after I rode it, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD!!!! ❤ absolutely incredible. It made me emotional!
I’d give anything to go on this ride again. At first I was scared, because of the pre-ride scanning part, and the Doctor Who portal transport thing ( I’m scared of fast rides. Even though I knew I wasn’t going anywhere, it still felt that way. ) but once I got a view of the world, it just turned everything around. Fear turned into excitement, joy, happiness, etc. I shrieked a few times, but those turned into that of excitement. I had the urge to take the glasses off at the start, but the view made me change my mind. Even though I felt similarities of being in a coaster cart, I didn’t feel as afraid anymore ( Still not doing roller coasters, lol. ) I was so upset when the flight ended. I never wanted to leave my seat. I felt like I was flying! Y’all have to ride this if you haven’t tried it!!
Best QUALITY version I've seen yet!!! Amazing work once again by LMG Vids!!!

This ride was worth every sweaty minute waiting in the hot sun of Florida. I literally cried with how beautiful this ride was. 10/10
I waited in line for 2+ hours for this ride and would do it again and again. It's amazing!
I SOBBED never having even seen the movie. It was beyond exhilarating 🥰. It was soo beautiful. I think that’s why I sobbed bc it felt soooo real. Saw the movie on our flight home. I was missing out😭We’ve been back since the first time and still chokes me up😭
This ride blew every ride I've ever been on out of the water. The details and the feeling and the immersion was unlike anything I have ever experienced and it made me smile in wonder the entire time to the point where I almost shed a year of happiness and excitement. The wait time is absolutely worth it cause no ride I've ever been on made me feel the way this did
My 87 year old father enjoyed this ride too! We rode it after waiting in line for 2 hours. I cannot express the joy that we felt as we flew through Pandora. It was the best ride ever!
This ride was apparently so beautiful and realistic, that my aunt cried.
It really was! I cried too! You absolutely must try it! The ride line is a few hours sometimes, but it is so worth it to the point that I stayed in line like 10 times going again and again, and the line itself is beautiful too. It’s literally out of this world.
The best ride of all time.
Brought such a unique sense of joy and wonder I only ever felt watching the original Avatar in 2009.
Edit: And Avatar 2 in 2022
Kinda crazy seeing a lot of the wildlife from the new film in there
Yeah like what?

Agree. Seems a lot of the world building was already fleshed out years ago. Pretty cool.
@@2kool4u_mac67 I don't know. Maybe the whole water part?!
Went on all the rides in all 4 parks. This was hands down our favorite ride! We felt like we were riding through heaven!
I waited in line for around 4 hours and words can’t describe how perfect and beautiful this was we went on it a second time
i remember going on this ride back in 2019, it was breath taking, you could smell and feel what was going on around you, and the saddle/seat you were sitting in would rock and tilt, you could feel the extreme wind on your cheeks. it was awesome. if you ever go to animal kingdom this is a must, its a once in a lifetime experience.
I am a 75-year-old man, but I swear to 'God that I could ride that ride all day long. The graphics are amazing.
Star Wars rides better step up cause this ride set the bar really high.
and then rise of the resistance opened
Rise of the resistance did step up, I love the avatar ride its great. But went 2 weeks ago to Star Wars and its a completely new technology incorporated into Disney you feel like you are in the movie.. Totally recommend Rise of the resistance ride
This ride blows all of the Star Wars rides away. This was my favorite ride I have ever been on.
This ride is not that good at all - rise of the resistance is infinitely better
The worst part of this ride is landing with the ocean out there in front of you, because you know the ride is about to end...😩
Such an amazing ride, If I could go back and ride something for the first time again it would be this.
This ride was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced
In your opinion, is it just as good or better than Soarin?
@@michael9000 its way way way better than soarin
@@michael9000 Soarin is not even close and I'ma huge fan of Soarin
This is truly one the greatest experiences I've ever had. I loved this ride and it stays as my all time favourite
I have never been on a better ride. I had tears of joy after this ride.
imagine if this ride was like an hour or so… it would be the biggest, best, most immersive and most beautiful thing on earth
Avatar is now officially part of Disney!
It’s super cool
this ride literally felt so surreal. such a long wait time but so worth it.
This ride was insanely beautiful and realistic. It’s got all of the best elements of Soarin but it’s so much better! The water spray and the breeze, along with the smell of nature and the feeling of the banchee breath beneath you. This ride is absolutely brilliant!!!
this is one of my favorite rides at disney! when i try to tell people about it it's just so hard to explain, since the ride itself is so detailed
I love detail, so I think I would like this one.
This, without any doubt, is the best ride across all 4 parks!
Best ride ever. Did it 3 times. A completely immersive experience.
Looking back at this footage, I'm kind of surprised they showed the whale from Avatar 2 in it.
This is so awesome. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to experience this is in real life! Thanks for the video.
Best ride at Disneyworld and universal Studios Florida and I went in 01 2020
I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one that cried on this ride! Something about it was just so beautiful, it brought me to actual tears. That's the magic of Disney for ya I suppose!
I want to go on this badly. Looks like a lively experience. Nice quality
This is the best ride I’ve ever been on. Waited 2 hours. So worth the wait. This ride makes you want to move to pandora. Soo so so good!! You can feel smell hear everything even the animal breathing in between your legs. 10/10 ❤
This ride is amazing! Makes you feel alive! Thanks for such an amazing capture!
When I was on this ride with my family, we loved it so much that we went back to the ride at least 6x in a row! After all these years, this is still my favorite.
Best theme park ride ever made hands down
Today, I had an incredible experience on this ride and I am still amazed at the remarkable feat of mankind in creating something so spectacular.
I rate the quality of this video at 20/10
I just went today!
Rode this twice and sobbed the entire time. Words do not describe this experience
Absolutely amazing ride. Worth the price of admission to Disney World alone.
Omg I have a feeling this whole attraction was foreshadowing the location of the Future sequels
I done it while at animal kingdom and it definitely was worth the wait and to do it! Unreal how you really feel like you are flying! It was truly my favorite ride at Disney
This ride was fantastic!!!!! The beauty of it is amazing and can only truly be appreciated if you do it!
I LOVEEE THIS RIDE! I went on it with my mom, sister, and dad for the first time today!!! We all LOVED it so much!
I was screaming this”THIS IS CRAZY AWSOME YEAHHH WOOOWWW AHHHHHHHHHH LOOK WATER OMG AHHHHHHHH”
Great ride! 😍🥲✅
How you know about way of water 4 years ago :)
I love it.
Howd you get fastpass so fast, I tried every day I was there but it always was not available
Honestly I can't even begin to describe how it feels when you're on this ride except that it feels real. It feels so real. And I've never experienced anything so amazing and breathtaking.
Trust me this is the best thing in animal kingdom and all other parts. Loved it ♥️✌🏻
When I heard how this ride operated, I couldn’t understand why people were so obsessed with it, but after I rode it, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD!!!! ❤ absolutely incredible. It made me emotional!
This ikran ride was worth the hype!!!
Best ride I've ever been on, virtually no wait time, amazing looking que, and the ride itself was absolutely amazing. I almost cried
The ride was insane. If I ever go back, I will definitely ride it as many times as I can
I wish our planet had some of the most beautiful breathtaking environments in the whole wide world like the cave, forests, and have amazing scents.
It actually does
When I went there only the boat ride had a short wait time. Watching this really let me see what I missed, and in good quality. Thank you so, so much.
