- Following up our very successful CP RS-18u and CN GP9rm, Rapido is pleased to bring our latest chop-nosed unit: the CP GP9u! And slugs!
Here's a brief overview of these units and why you want one (or nine) on your layout!

@@rapidotrainsok yall got me at 2 SRY GP9s. I can’t explain any more than that to the wife. Especially after the GP38s, GP40s, and all the other stuff from yall I have on preorder. And I model Rio Grande. And none of the preorder stuff is Rio Grande 🤷♂️

Love all these new offerings for Canadian railroads. How about a Conrail gp10 with the MT4 slug. You have the starting points for both models already in your current production.

I like this, however I'm slightly disappointed that New Hope & Ivyland 8218 wasn't included in this run. Maybe next time.
There's only so many schemes we can do per run, so sit tight!
I believe that the big advantage to N scale is that you could run your trains at very high speed without having to use 40 acres.
But imagine N scale in 40 acres!
@@rapidotrains I am thinking 200 Miles Per Hour on a long straight track now that is pure fun. Imagine 2 lines racing across your property. This could be the next big thing. Maybe 4 or 5 trains at once.

Yeah they look like they are separate, how else would they be able to fit in a box
NO. PWRS does not own the rights to SRY, so yes Rapido will release SRY to the general public. pwrs pffft
These can be uncoupled. The SRY are a regular release and are available through any dealer.

Did these locomotives eventually get rebuilt into GP20C-ECO’s
Some parts from the GP9u fleet were used in the GP20eco like trucks and some electronics, but otherwise they were new frames and builds

Where are the GP38s at ??? I pre-ordered mine like 4 years ago. Very disappointing. Wonder how long it will take this one to see the light of day?
The GP38 shipment is on the way! As we covered in Rapido news a few months back, these were delayed to fix some issues with the fans. Should be arriving late July or august
