Great vídeo. Thanks I got my LOA from NBCC will apply for my study permit so fingers crossed it all goes well. Really looking forwards to living in Moncton because I love small cities specially those in close contact with nature
Thanks for the video. I just subscribe to your channel because I'm applying for a student permit to NBCC (I hope 🙏 to arrive in December or January with my wife and 2 years old son). All your videos result very interestingly for me especially about the cost of living. Greetings from Cali, Colombia 🇨🇴 .
Hi if you looking for a nice place to rent you have to pay almost like in Toronto especially in Dieppe. 2 bed condo townhouse $2750 that's more expensive than Toronto. Nice 2 bed appartment cost from 1300 and up and we talk about NB. I just don't understand how local people can afford it renting if they make a loot less than people in Ontario. I am not talking home owners just renters.
@@QuestCanada I know I live in Toronto I know prices in here and I know prices in there I just don't understand how people in NB can afford it. I was living in Dieppe 3 years ago at 777 Gaven something like that lol and I was paying for 2 bed beautiful apt $950 now is 1375 plus utility so it's around 1500 a month. In Toronto downtown u can rent for 1800
Wow! Tuition and rent is way more affordable than other provinces and applying for permanent residency is less complicated. Is there high chance of getting approved if I study for a year? My NOC is under category A and I have years of related work experience.
Hi, love your channel. I'm planning to apply for NBCC, however i've been checking the NB news and i've seen come cases where landlords increase the rent exponentially (30% - 70%) with only weeks notice and the tenant can't do anything. Is there something a tenant can do to avoid some situation like this? Or do you have some reccomendations before renting?
unfortunately rent here is not reguated when it comes to rent cap.Landords do have predominantly, the last say.Id say always always read ur contract and carify if there is anything tricky.Thats al i could think of right now…
Hi! Good day! I am also an incoming international student for sept2021 intake, also in NBCC. My husband (open work permit) and I are currently looking for an apartment. Can you share where can we inquire for Diamond Court apartment availability? Or do they have a one bedroom apartment? Or can you recommend a place? How much does it usually cost for the rental insurance? I hope you can help us out. Thank you 🤍
@@QuestCanada thank you so much for the recommendation. If you get to see your friend again from diamond court, I hope she can share. Hehe. Thaaaank you again.
Hi Miss Ricey! I recently got approved and will be working in New Brunswick soon. I had been looking for a place to stay in Rothesay until my friend saw a listing just a few walks away from my soon-to-be workplace. It's a 2-bedroom apartment and I will be sharing it with a couple. Just curious how the standard "hatian" is for renting there in Canada. Will the rent be divided per head or per room? Hope you could answer my question. Thank you. 😊
Great info. However would like to know if you would still need to show proof of funds when applying for the PR as an international student while still in school in New Brunswick.
Hello, Ricey. Your videos convince us to move to Canada. We are planning to move to NB as international nurse (RN) thru PNP. Getting a visa for a family of 3 can be very expensive. Are there any hospitals that sponsor applicants? Many thanks.
Tks a lot for all your videos!! Did she sign the contract to rent the apartment, or did her fiancé? What is the best option for an international student, the student or her husband? Tks again!!
@@QuestCanada Thank you. In your opinion, is that a good sector to live for a family? Do you know if in that building are there different property managers to sign a contract to rent, or just one? Thanks a lot!!!

I’m curious how terrible the place everyone is moving from, if they think that NB is their saving grace!? Videos like this, are only promoting greedy individuals to sell their high priced buildings to invest in even more buildings in NB. Let’s be real here, typical students are living with 2-4 students in one apartment and it’s a dump- because rent prices are increasing regularly. And then they move to a better province 🤷🏻♀️ If you’re looking for short term investment (get in, get out) NB’s your place- but it’s going to crash, because it’s not sustainable due to lack of jobs.

I think many places are expecting you to buy rental insurance now. It was not like this in the past.
Yes, it is mostly required now , not by choice anymore.
