I think New Brunswick is better for raising a family since it's more peaceful. I lived in Ontario all my life. It's not just the major cities that are stressful and hectic, but even the smaller ones.

Great job on the video!! As someone who lived there, it’s great, if you want to settle down. If you’re a new comer to Canada, Fredericton is a great place to start. It will be very representative of what you’re to expect across the country. However, be aware of what you are getting into. Winters are notoriously unpredictable and long.
Keep up the good work :)

The houses I have seen that got the asking price of 250K, were either houses that needed fixing up, contaminated with nicotine, and wouldn't meet building codes in some other provinces. The best you will find a "nice" house for 250K is in Saint John, but you will have to put up with the pollution and stink of it that comes from two sources - Canada's largest oil refinery, and a pulp mill.

May I know which city in NB are you living? Thinking to move as well to NB but I heard if you’re not careful you might wind up living in a French speaking community. Also there is poor internet access and most importantly, a lack of medical specialists. Can you also enlighten us about this?

There is a lack of specialists and the wait time to see them can be very long. My wife had to wait two years to see one; same specialist in BC took less than 6 months. The actual wait time was estimated at 3 years for my wife in NB to see the specialist, but due to cancelations, she got to see the specialist in two years.
It took us two years just to get a Nurse Practitioner in NB, and that was because my wife pulled strings. Our poor neighbour went to his family doctor many times for over one year with symptoms of pain in his lower back, no appetite, and being weak a lot; they just brushed him off from being old; the only test they did was a stress test. He learned he had cancer two weeks before he died a painful death, but he had the cancer for at least 8 months.

@@RogueLei82 What we have done whenever we've decided to moved to another city or province is, make a list of your most important needs. Then list the pros and cons of each province or city according to your needs. Needs are always changing in life so try to think of where you want to be within a realistic time frame. The funny thing about life is you really never know where you might be living in the future. I never ever thought I would be living in some of the places where I have lived. I never thought I would have some of the careers I had.
What's the point of living in a place because it is "affordable" if you really don't love it? Same with a job, why work at a job that makes good money if you hate it and stresses you out effecting your health? Life is too short to make to big of a sacrifice at your health's expense. Finding balance is the key.
At our age, NB has nothing to offer my wife and I in regards to our needs. Perhaps it could have when we were younger, but I doubt that, as she hates NB ; )
I was born and raised in NB, but never liked it so of course to an extent I am biased.
