I remember when i was in school, like 45 years ago, a music teacher already said to us : "if Beethoven would live today, he would for sure do metal." So .. i guess it makes totally sense to play it this way 😄😄🤘🏼🤘🏼

Ludwig Van was shredding it before it was cool. 🤘 I imagine when he was composing the 3rd movement of "Moonlight Sonata" he must have had a stupid smile on his face and rubbed his hands with excitement, thinking about how hard it's gonna hit, especially after slow and super peaceful 2nd movement. True rockstar at heart he was.

As an 80’s kid myself… it reminds me of Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure - when they bring Beethoven to the future and he rocks out in the mall.
He played a current song (at the time) - “Play with me” by Extreme, but achieved a similar effect for sure… Beethoven doing metal!

For sure. A lot of his compositions were kind of the metal of their time. He would absolutely love a lot of European symphonic metal if he were alive today.

I've heard reactors who are well schooled in classical piano, & have stated that she did not miss a note.
If I remember correctly, I read somewhere, that there were 2540 notes over the course of 6 min 8 sec for an average of 7.08 notes per second... !!

Correct. But it’s not a song. There is no singing in it. It’s a piece of music, or a ‘piece’ for shortS People got used to calling all pieces of music ‘songs’ because of the pop charts where all pieces were actually all songs. Now it has become a commonplace error. It irks me greatly.

@sliceofheaven3026 - I would say a... combination of two points: a natural talent, and a practice.
Every day, every week, every month(s). Repeat that for a few years. And more. Always striving for more. Repetiton and dedication.
Talent, sure. But let's not forget how much time, the effrot and dedication she put into it. Sometimes just a pure "talent" is not enough, not if you ignore it, waste it, if somehow you are discourage along the way, or you just going to gave up (because maybe some people were saying that you are not good enough). This lady, she knew what she was doing from the beginning. Pure dedication. Talent? Yes. But there is something more behind that, behind her as a person.
      Edit: spelling...

@@Phil-Paris-France Oh, really funny of you to LAUGH AT PEOPLE like you are still an infant. Real nice.
I have been bullied my ENTIRE life for multiple reasons. I HATE being laughed at. Because you did that, I went looking for that video. I can't find it. IF it ever existed on the internet, it's not there anymore. Could have existed at one point and been taken down since. Or maybe it never existed at all.
So, knowing about my faulty memory, you could easily be factually right and I could just be remembering things wrong. I would have sworn I saw a video like that but now I am not so sure of myself. ESPECIALLY since I cannot find that video or link.
I will admit, knowing what I know about myself now, I might have dreamed the whole thing up. My problem is that I can't tell anymore.
I really wish things were different so I could go back to knowing reality from fantasy. Senility really sucks.
As for never having done a duet...I would not know that because I don't know her personally.
Do YOU PERSONALLY KNOW Tina, in order to make your claim that she NEVER did any duet?
Cameras didn't exist when people were simple farmers raising families.
Or are you the type who firmly believes that 'If It's Not On Camera, It Did Not Ever Happen!'...? Because that behavior is also pretty damned childish.
IF this is really what you believe, then according to your version of events, there was no life before cameras. We Humans and Animals and Plants just suddenly spawned in after some other higher power invented the camera.
So you go right ahead and laugh at me all you want.
I guess you have the right to make yourself look like a complete and total asshole over the internet for everybody around the world to see.

You discovered Tina - what a great reaction!😀👍 When she started playing, it was instant "stun mode" lol. She definitely did not miss a single note, absolutely world-class virtuoso!! I love that she has that huge wide vibrato, like Uli Roth, Yngwie Malmsteen or Michael Schenker, for those who know rock guitarists....there are a lot of guitarists who can play really great & fast, but still don't have that vibrato. Because she plays with such a straight face, many foolishly said that she was playing with no emotion. That's so silly, you can obviously hear the emotion, & lots of it! She's just into it and concentrating, also I believe at the time she had great experience in playing, but not performing in front of an audience. I'm not sure how much live performance she did, but I don't think it was a whole lot at that time. Once performers get used to being in front of an audience, they usually learn to project emotion at that point. She kind of disappeared from UA-cam several years ago, but word has it she's back and has a band together. She is in CONTROL of that guitar!!

Even a music professor, who almost exclusively rendered outstanding services to Beethoven, listened to this piece, also in a slow version, and could not find any mistakes or missing notes. Piano has 88 keys - guitar has 6 strings, and 20-22 frets (usually). Imagine Beethoven on piano? They say he was so aggressive on stage he would break piano wires during a concert! One of his contemporaries said he couldn't go near his piano for a week after witnessing Ludwig Live in-concert, as he felt so inadequate by comparison. I imagine Ludwig would've adored Tina!
