    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  Рік тому +5

      Your message carries a profound reflection on the human experience. None of us are perfect, but what truly matters is the intention and love we bring to the world. It's natural for tears to accompany such heartfelt sentiments. Remember that imperfections are part of our shared journey, and the sincerity behind your intentions is what truly counts. Cherish each day, express your love and kindness to others, and embrace the beauty of your imperfect yet genuine existence. Sending hugs. 🤗

    This is the best video I've ever seen. My clutter, not hoarding, started a year ago. Prior- my house was uber organized and clean. I'm now overwhelmed and can't keep up... BUT distract from everything due to overwhelm. Realized I might have ADD from a few years of sleep deprivation from new neighbors. From clean, organized, productive to overwhelmed, exhausted, defeated. I don't have much. But what I have is everywhere. Here's my day- "going to cut a section of the lawn". Turn the outdoor faucet on, it's broken, youtube on how to fix, while on laptop, check emails, oh, bills to pay... need a break on the porch, neighbor has a camera facing me, need barrier, off to Lowe's for lattice and paint. Furious. Time for meal of the day. Ok, lawn... Nah, do it tomorrow.

      That sounds like me. Sleep deprivation is so debilitating. I have a lot of trouble sleeping, mainly due to being constantly interrupted by other people or pets. Husband, kids, cats all wake me up during the night. I just wish I had a quiet room to myself. Resorted to sleeping pills just to get around 6 hours in per night, and now I’m addicted & reliant on them. Also becoming reliant on alcohol just to calm down during the afternoon as the evening approaches and I know I have to muster energy from somewhere and make everyone dinner. I could make that easier by menu planning and shopping but I usually put off thinking about it and then have to grocery shop right before making dinner so I’m even more tired. I use coffee to wake up in the morning, alcohol to calm down in the afternoon and sleeping pills to sleep. Its not really ideal. But I think the key to it all is actually the loss of sleep to begin with - and often its very hard to get away from other people’s noise and interruptions.

    Angela, I really appreciated your using this word “alignment” with your life now. I also appreciated your showing your closet and how it functions for what you need to wear most of the time. You brought up so many good things about personal values of how we decide to spend our time and asking ourselves how we can be useful and what stuff do we need to carry that out. Accepting that we have evolved and not trying to live in the past or pay so much allegiance to it is a challenge. I have to tell myself that life is a short ride even if I live to 100. I’m in my mid 60’s. Knowing it’s short, What do I want to bring to my life versus let go of.? Thank you!

    As always, Angela, you deliver. I played this video in the background while I was cleaning up and throwing out. It was so affirming. I have found that items I held on to for dear life, when I got rid them in one movement, I never looked back. I don't even miss them or remember what I got rid of. Apparently, they were not as important as I made them out to be. In a way, I found myself on a roll and I was able to get rid of more and more items quicker. Many of them I forgot I even had.
    Thanks again for delivering such an informative and supportive video. - Making my life easier!!! 💙x 💯

    I think you are fabulous and so I must say, “ being a cleaning lady” is NOT who you are…it is what you do. It is the vehicle you use to elevate the lives of others and you teach. You teach well and with facts, not judgement. You are wicked smart as evidenced by the the way you teach and incorporate important issues like core values and visualizing what you want in your life. I have never known a “cleaning lady” who did that. Your calling may indeed being a cleaning lady but it is to do the great work you do in assisting people to transform their lives. You Rock!

    So So So true regarding being honest with where we are. 20 years ago I went to a prosperity church. The pastor encouraged everyone to say that they were blessed making positive confessions. While in truth there was a lot of pain never shared … of course with safe and trustworthy people. Now I have learned there is one who deeply cares for everything; that is our MAKER!! Crying out to HIM of our frailties and disappointments is truly the best.
    I get on my knees , raise my hands, lift my face and voice. After the session I stand strong encouraged and strengthened. The Book of Psalms is filled with battles and how we can be delivered when we humble our selves and submit to OUR CREATOR’S will!!! HE is good and merciful and wishes no one to perish.🤲🏼👏🏻

    I got a sticker book. Every time I tackle an important task, I get a sticker. So many of my clients have followed suit, and it's really fun! It also indulges my inner child, bc I didn't have a normal childhood. Instead, I mostly worked. So now I get to declutter, AND reward myself with a kid thing.

    Hi, I'm glad I found you. I retired at the end on 2021, thinking I was going to have a good life. Afterwards, my son get very ill, and I was just talking him to the doctor, and tying too figure out what was wrong with him. H finally recovered before the end of 2022, and I was left with a clustered house, cluttered bedroom add still trying too find my purpose. I feel overwhelmed and day by day try to start re-ranging my life.

      I'm so sorry to hear about the challenges you've faced recently, with your son's illness and the resulting disarray in your life. It's completely understandable that you feel overwhelmed and unsure of your purpose. Please know that it's okay to feel this way, and I'm here to support you. Take things one step at a time, starting with small tasks to declutter and organize your space. Reflect on the things that bring you joy and consider pursuing those activities. Remember to set realistic goals and seek support from your loved ones or support groups. Prioritize self-care throughout this process, as taking care of yourself is essential. You're on a journey of self-discovery, and it's okay to take your time.
