Definitely saving this video for reference. Our styles are similar and I need styling ideas!

Love this! I'm a recent graduate of Interior Architecture and I essentially started my style exploration process with a "site analysis" on my body. Instead of the sun path, material composition, scale, proportion, surrounding context of a building, etc., I looked at seasonal colour analysis, Kibbe body types, Kitchener essences, etc. to understand 'the space' (my body) that I'm working with.

What do you think about Seasonal Color analysis? I would say, off the top of my head, just by seeing you in this video, i think you are a "Autumn" and may look your best in warm colors, but not very pastel ones- brown, khaki, orange, warm red. Sorry for barging in like that.
I absolutely loved what the kaki shirt& caramel trench coat did to your skin, it appeared so clear and luminous, also the small checkered mustard dress, amazing!!!
Of course the style of the clothes matters too and how you feel in it, I just discovered color analysis and it blew my mind and can't stop talking about it
Ps: i feel the same about non/elasticated waists and clothes that "strangle" me

There is what I like the look of, what I feel comfortable and right wearing, and what actually suits me. They don't match. I'm still trying to find the right compromise after many years.

Ok I cant speak to the fashion side confidently, but if you were an interiors client, I would encourage you to think about it a little differently. it's about bridge building, rather than copying an exact look. For example, you might love the look of light airy minimalist homes but live in a small bungalow with low ceilings. can you copy it? No. But can you be inspired by it? Absolutely. How could you bridge? I'd suggest things like decluttering, hidden storage, minimal window coverings to maximise light, a restrained materials palette. Or take clothes for example, you might like smart structured outfits with sharp lines but need the comfort of softness. How could you bridge those? It might not be exact but you might find there is a company who do a smart looking trouser that has an elasticated waistband that feels really comfortable, for example. Find the bridges!

This was great! Thanks for sharing. What software programs did you use to crop the images of your clothing and place in a digital catalog?

Hi! I screenshot the images. Then I inserted them into a Pages document. It has a tool to remove background.

So great! Will definitely have a go at this. I think maybe your dark loafers read a bit too 'heavy' in the oufits shown.

I love your video, but for me, looking at what I loved as a child or yound adult doesn't work, because my taste and style of life has changed a lot since. Like you, I love natural colors and textures, relaxed oversized clothes with a touch of creative artistic flair with jewels or scarf.

Maybe its about what you liked as a young adult instead then? Plus I'll bet there are some things you enjoyed as a child that could link to now- even if its a bit abstract. e.g the feel of a certain material
