Dustin was always the most entertaining tennis player to me. Not only his impressive shots and skills but also his great sportsmanship were just amazing to watch. So sad he couldn't climb up higher in the rankings cause the injuries kept holding him back. I think he is playing his last season this year so let's all wish him the very best.
Proud of you Dustin. I grew up a few years before you in Jamaica playing tennis and moved to the UK in the 90s. It was such an honour for me to see your accomplishments at Wimbledon. Made me so proud. So sad to see you go and hope to meet you some day. 🙏🏽👏🏽🎾
D Brown is a kind of a player which modern tennis is missing today, guy which played with his skills and brain, not with a brute power, which most of todays young players are doing with no skills whatsoewer I personally miss him big time, and wish him all the best in his life ! 🙂
Kudos to his parents who sacrificed everything for their son! The ATP tour is gonna miss Dustin! He and Gael Monfils are not just tennis players but also entertainers. Best wishes for him post tennis career.
Makes sense that his formative tennis years was in a small country. I use to hit in NYC with this Jamaican guy kept bragging about the local talent. He lived there & comes up occasionally. Powerful serves, great shot maker & lots of unconventional trick shots. It’s almost like because they don’t have traditional coaches telling them they can’t, kids will try new shots
His highly entertaining game was his nemesis! He never played conservative enough always going to the well for some highlight reel shot that only allowed him to win 37% of his matches! There were plenty of pro athletes that had incredible talent but didn't know how to use it!
@@tasibho Qualifying rounds you will have to be a Top 200 player to qualify for that. For wild cards main draw in slams you will not get a player outside the Top 300 except rarely and not 500. Next to never you get a player ranked in the 400's in a slam. as good as saying never basically so rare is it. Nadal lost to players in the 100 not 500 players so it's a non-point about 500 players. he lost because he was not consistent on grass since way way back in 2011 when he made his last final. losing 4 years in a row at a slam to guys outside the top 100 is one of the all time worst runs for a slam winner. why delete your 500 previous comment now lol?
There's tennis for fun and there's tennis for money. Two ENTIRELY different mindsets. He was a fantastic tennis player but a mediocre professional. He should have concentrated on being an exhibition player like Bahrami. With his showmanship and pleasant demeanor he could have played exos till he was 50...at maybe 150 grand a year. Hey where you gonna get that kind of scratch working 2-3 hrs a day three four times a week at 2-3 grand a pop?
Yo tennistic productions. You should make a video of best tournaments for each player. Nadal:RG Djokovic:AO Federer:SW19 Murray:SW19 Wawrinka:RG Kygrios:SW19? Medvedev:USO Zverev:RG or Madrid Tsitsipas: Monte Carlo Rublev:Monte Carlo Ruud:RG Alcaraz: SW19 or Madrid Sinner: Miami? Holger Rune: Paris or the other Paris Thiem:RG Dimitrov:as of late Miami?
Such talent, with nothing to show beside his showmanship but that gets you no way. So he has retired with nothing, did he ever win a tournament, ah maybe one😂or maybe none 😂. I thought he was so talented when I first saw him but no hunger, passion basically just an exhibitioners nothing more.
Guy with a big service and nothing else. He had a problem.to.hit 2 forehand rally and then he was hitting slice forehand but it was enough to beat Nadal.on grass who was standing 15 meters behind service line to returne his service. Also he beat Zverev on clay who made 28 double faults in this match 😂
I know it is a black person each time there is mention of impoverished beginnings! Andre Agassi has a similar story, but it's never put in those words!
Buahahahahah... Dustin "0" titles Brown at 39, was what??? Poor???🤣 (well maybe on His Jamaican father...) And he became a tennis Star with "0" titles in his whole life???🤣 Oh... I forgot. He is a "Tennis Star"... on UA-cam only🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and mainly because of his 2mt long wig.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for putting together this very cool tribute to Dustin. I love the rags to glory story shared by so many Black athletes
He is a legend. Love him.
Loved Dustin Brown, very entertaining tennis.

Yh sad to not see him playing
Thankyou for this informative upload of Dustin Brown. Lovely entertaining talented player. Miss him
Dustin's story is inspirational! Monflis and Dustin are very similar in some ways - both famous for their style and trick shots
I saw him in a tournament in Switzerland, in a time he was not very known. I was impressed by his drop shots, the best I ever saw.
Kudos to his parents who sacrificed everything for their son! The ATP tour is gonna miss Dustin! He and Gael Monfils are not just tennis players but also entertainers. Best wishes for him post tennis career.
Dustin's style makes Kyrgios look like a choir boy. He made Nadal cry 😭
He was just brilliant, what a pleasure to watch him play....its a pity we couldnt see more of him.........
Great player, was great to see him back at Wimby. Will miss him.
Love Dustin's spirit which he brought to the court and the game❤❤❤🎉
The man, the myth, the legend!

I'm Jamaican, and found out recently one my best friends is related to Dustin! It was mind blowing 😊 Dustin is awesome!!!
His highly entertaining game was his nemesis! He never played conservative enough always going to the well for some highlight reel shot that only allowed him to win 37% of his matches! There were plenty of pro athletes that had incredible talent but didn't know how to use it!
Love Dustin.
that’s it?! i’m pretty sure all tennis fans knew all this. but nice footage of obscure matches. Dustin rocks.
Yeah, his videos are nothing new, pretty telling us what we already know. No real added value tbh.
Enjoyed watching your game. Please take good care ❤❤❤
„He was dangerous on grass.“
Very nice Van
We need Justine Brown to return to the tennis court
There should be a separate tournament/ league for entertaining players like him.
Another genius who played tennis for pure entertainment.
You miss something about this sportsman from jamaica:
1- kissing the lucky egg before a match.
2- - Pride Power.....
3- Dustin Brown.....bad Ass Mudda
Nadal lost 4 years in a row at Wimbledon 2012-15 to players ranked outside the Top 100.
Why did that happen
@@joshheinink because he hasn't made a final there since 2011
Great stat!

🟣Wool socks to bed = best sleep possible🟧
To make extra money he used to string racquets at the tournaments he was playing!
Subbed
Dustin should have left Jamaica long before he did. Jamaica didn't do much for his career.
incredible

I agree somewhat! If he was a White guy from Poland no one would give a crap!
