I made these tonight but i omitted the chili paste because I do not like spicy lol. I did hit it with a little bit of red pepper flakes just to round out the sweetness. Turned out wonderful! So glad I I tried this recipe instead of just doing plain old garlic butter or green bean casserole! She has really helped me come up with some great food during quarantine. So greatful for this channel♡♡♡
my mom makes this every year for Thanksgiving ☺️!! we used to use the super long green beans my grandma would grow in our backyard. they would be like a couple feet long! sure brings back lots of memories 😊
I eat that spicy long bean every morning in Indonesia. Without gochujang, just put cherry tomato, sambal and little bit oyster sauce. The taste so amazing, I'm gonna hungry right now😍😍
This prime rib roast, butter honey potatoes, and spicy stir fried chinese long beans, will be our new Christmas dinner. I cannot wait as it looks so delicious. In the mean time I'll be eating all the other delicious recepies, and loveing them all.
if in my country Indonesia almost every day we cook long beans (kacang panjang) with garlic, shallots,baby dried shrimp (rese), sweet soy sauce, galangal, bay leaves and fresh chili.

Hi Seonk Young, I just made this dish And oh my goodness 👍👍👍😍😋 Yummy!! I didn't have the fresh Long beans so I used frozen long cut beans and it came out so delicious! I just didn't add any chicken broth or water either since they were frozen they had their own water Lol thank you ❤️💕

Did this with ham intstead of bacon. Pepper paste instead of chili paste coz those are the only available alternatives. Added chopped chili on the combined sauce and it turned out great. 😅😅

Instead of using the „Lee Kum Kee“ brand „Toban Djan“, you may want to try the original Sichuan Pixian Doubanjiang, which is so much more aromatic than the LKK product and doesn‘t contain superfluous additives like sugar and flavour enhancers. It’s not easy to get, but it‘s well worth the effort.
