Gosh you made this seem so much easier then other videos! Thanks so much!
Zipper foot to sew the bias??? OMG BRILLIANT!!!!! Thank you this is going to save me soooooo much time!!!
A Stripology ruler would make more fast accurate cutting on the 1/2". Thanks for demonstrating this fun and creative use of bias. Love the gray with the continuous loops. Fabulous technique.
Wonderful video!
Where have you been all my life? I love what you do and how you teach it. I'm new and not good at all, in fact I kinda pretty much suck at sewing and quilting!!!! But my heart's in it and I love it, the whole process, I love it all and I will NOT give up. So thankful for you and all the other taking time to share something you're so so amazing at!!! God bless and thank you again, I'm making myself try this technique, even though I'm sscared to death of bias anything and failing in general,I am a semi-ocd perfectionist, who's determined to not suck and end up as good as you!!! Much love and prayers from Jennifer in Bakersfield Ca
Love the grey version 😍
My first thought was, "I'll never be able to do that." But after watching you explain it, I feel confident that I can do it -- you're a great teacher.
Oh. Thank. Goodness! I see you created this a couple years back but it’s right on time for me and the project visions dancing around in my head. Are you doing any online workshops? I want to encourage my guild to contact you. I presume I can use this technique on any size and or color block of my choice. See a lot of possibilities for baby quilts and pillows. So very happy I found you!
Fantastic teacher! I love this project!
You are a great teacher/presenter! I hope you do more instructional videos!
Excellent. Clear and thorough instructional style. Thank you.
Thanks Maureen! I'm just now seeing your comment. I'm working on a bunch of videos for my UA-cam channel soon.
Thanks Bonnie!
She’s awesome
This is great, Thank you for sharing. I love the sipper foot idea. I would love to use his technique throughout may quilt. What do you do when you have an end of the biased tape in the block? I would like to use them as lines between fans.
There are ways to "finish" the ends of the bias tape if they will just float on top of your quilt. The easiest way to do it is to fold it under. If at all possible you should have your bias tape either end up in a seam allowance, under another piece of bias tape or you can join the ends of bias tape like you do on your bindings.
Hi Latifah! How do you get a good corner with bias tape? Say I wanted to make a celtic knot design...
Latifah, I love the quilt behind you, too! Do you have a pattern for that?

where can I copy the tear drop template
Why do you have to use a zipper foot?
You don't "have" to ManyMuses but it is a great foot to use on most machines. It allows for great visibility while allowing you to essentially top stitch on the bias tape VERY close to the edge.
