PRE EDIT: TL:DR - Everyone can laugh about a potentially offensive until the subject is about their thing - something that they have personal experience with. Then it went too far. It's ok to joke about someone else's thing, just don't joke about my thing... 9:45 around there. The 9/11 joke. And Squirrel's reaction.... *This* is the entire foundations of "offensive jokes". (By the way, if you're reading this, Squirrel, i don't mean this in any sort of negative way what so ever). But Squirrel has laughed at jokes about murder, child abuse, rape, suicide, depression. etc... And he could laugh as those jokes because (i'm guessing) none of those subjects really had a big impact in his life. But he didn't laugh at the 9/11 joke. Presumably because it *did* have a big impact on his life. It's liely he lost a loved one. So to him that joke wasn't funny. And that's my point. Someone who has been raped but lost no one on 9/11 probably didn't laugh at a rape joke, but did laugh at the 9/11 joke. Someone who was abused as a child probably doesn't laugh at abuse jokes, but could laugh at the 9/11 joke. I think you all get my point. Ricky Gervais made UK headlines a few years ago because he did a joke about how he would be such a shit parent that if he had baby he wouldn't be able to look after it so it would die. A couple recently lost their baby so they walked out (and for some reason contacted the media to tell their story and how offended they were)! Ricky pointed out that up until that point he had joked about many taboo subjects including rape and they were fine with that. But once it was a joke about *their thing* Ricky was all of a sudden the bad guy.
I cringed a bit when he did the 9/11 joke as i forgot he done that one. Nothing is out of bounds for him. He has pissed quite a few people off just like bill burr and dave chapelle has. Great reaction.
Don't think anyone else has said, but the "we don't judge anyone by their teeth, unless they're a child refugee fleeing a warzone" line (at 2:48) is referencing a British news story, that some politicians wanted to do medical (specifically dental) tests on refugee children (who have entered the UK seeking asylum) to check they were definitely children (i.e. prove their age), because there was a suspicion some young adults were pretending to be children to get more favourable treatment by the authorities. Here's one of the news articles about it from the time www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/child-refugees-calais-jungle-age-david-davies-mp-teeth-checks-add-trauma-a7368966.html

Well, speaking as a Norwegian, if judging countries entirely by their alcohol prices, the Scots must deeply effin' hate us, and we absolutely love them.
I've always wondered why Americans don't opt for a National Health Service? I've been twice, once with my Parents when I was about 18, then I went back when I was about 23 to get clean. That didn't work well and I ended up spending 6 months there and getting sent home. One of the lads I was was hanging around with , his girlfriend fell ill and they were telling me about medical insurance etc. It's crazy that such a developed country doesn't have an NHS. It's the greatest institution in this country and the best thing Parliament has ever voted on to implement.
02:52 The UK went through a phase (or maybe still does and it dropped out of the headlnes) of giving dental exams to filter out adults posing as child refugees.

I'm sure that your opinion of Mr Boyle keeps him awake at night.
