Tracker 1648 SC/New boat walk through and Modifications

I purchased a new 1648 50 HP tracker last month and getting it set up for hunting and fishing. This is the perfect size to take two guys on hunts and get out on the lake to fish. Currently I put a Hummingbird 7 on it, trailer bunks, transom saver and a seat. I plan on adding a trolling motor and more rod holders next. Nice boat. I have something very similar with a 28hp Johnson spl. With 2 men I can go about 25-26 mph. I would think that 50 Mercury you should get 45 mph or so. Feels like faster on the water in a 16 foot jon boat though.
