Her guitar playing makes me think of a deer kid playing 3rubber bands on an old cigar box, two "chords" maybe. And her odd haunting, plaintive, and oh so lovely voice, takes me there. "California" is my absolute favorite. Anything close is just more heaven. Love that guitar. It's a thumb thing.
Angel, you're my favorite. I met you one time when you opened for a band I had never heard of in San Francisco sometime around 2015, and I bought tickets just to see you. I was awkward. You were cool. I don't even think I told you how brilliant you are and how much your music means to me. You were holding artwork you had just received from someone, and you said it was based on a dream you had about a rhino. I'll never forget that.
