This is a crushingly beautiful, intimate song. There’s a lot of bittersweet sentiments in the lyrics... she’s my favorite contemporary musician and I am so grateful for this new album right now for so many reasons.

Accurate. There's always been something about her, and it is very similar to Orbison. Like the ability to communicate pure emotion in the melody of her voice alone.

I lost my mum to covid Nov 2020 and listening to this song on repeat made my grief a little more bearable though I wept through every listen.

I knew literally nothing about Angel Olsen when I decided on a whim to buy this livestream in 2020. By the end of it, I was totally blown away and spent the next few months catching up on her back catalog. Highlight of this show was her cover of Skeeter Davis's "My Last Date," but the whole thing was amazing, and I keep hoping she'll release this full performance someday.

This song is one of those ones that makes me cry just because her voice is so hopelessly beautiful. When she first hits those high notes with that vibrato....there's an expression for the chills you get from music called "frisson" which is borrowed the French word for "shiver"...that happens every time.
