I already make this juice at home regularly.. Instead of water I add cucumber.. And instead of jaggery I am adding honey.. I squeeze some lemon also to make it even more tangy.. Although its extremely tasty but didn't help me with my iron deficiency. So I am sure there are other contributing factors to which we need to look into.. After having this juice for 3months my doctor prescribed me iron supplements.
First u need to know ki iron deficiency aapki body me Hui kyu h .like pregnancy or some long term health issues. U skipped jaggery. But it helps in production of hemoglobin . U can also eat jaggery and chana every day especially in winter.
@B-W he is right.. Vitamin c helps in iron absorption quickly.. So amla and/or lemon juice is needed with beetroot, or tomato in palak with rajma.. I am taking heamup gel capsules recommended by my doctor as only food/juice wasn't helping me. Any kind of stress will also not help absorb nutrients from food. Doing yoga, meditation pranayam and specifically kapal bhati is helping me immensely in many spheres of my life! So we have to take a wholesome approach to any problems you have.

I already make this juice at home regularly.. Instead of water I add cucumber.. And instead of jaggery I am adding honey.. I squeeze some lemon also to make it even more tangy.. Although its extremely tasty but didn't help me with my iron deficiency. So I am sure there are other contributing factors to which we need to look into.. After having this juice for 3months my doctor prescribed me iron supplements.

@B-W he is right.. Vitamin c helps in iron absorption quickly.. So amla and/or lemon juice is needed with beetroot, or tomato in palak with rajma.. I am taking heamup gel capsules recommended by my doctor as only food/juice wasn't helping me. Any kind of stress will also not help absorb nutrients from food. Doing yoga, meditation pranayam and specifically kapal bhati is helping me immensely in many spheres of my life! So we have to take a wholesome approach to any problems you have.
