I take offense at the implications that northern nevada mining is not done responsibly. there is bye products to every process and these mines truly do everything they can to contain any kind of contamination to the water supply and the environment as a whole. put your feet in the dirt and come take a look. what you see from the air is only bias. these operations are massive and yes it appears a bit overwhelming from the air, but mining is needed and is done right in all of the northern nevada mines. I have been to every large and small operations in northern nevada and every mine is always trying to improve on a daily basis. acceptable is not in there vocabulary. first rate all the way.
After seeing this video.....if I was a native Alaskan there would be NO WAY I’d want a gold mine in my back yard. The amount of pollution from these mines is unimaginable
