M3 GTR (E46) is one of the most beautiful race cars ever built and I’m so happy that BMW made that car in the first place. It’s also my favorite car in racing games like Most Wanted and Carbon. I will never forget that car❤️
on the m3 gtr section you should mention the almighty p60b40 engine with that iconic hewland 6 speed manual gearbox, it makes everyone who hear it will easily recognized 'that's the legendary gtr'

@john jay you forgot a factor :P weight distribution! 4 cylinders E30s will be faster and more agile than any engine swap... Talking from my experience...
@john jay mate,i can't agree more! I believe exact the same thing,BUT I'm talking about E30 specifically... Don't know if you have ever drive an S14 or even M42 powered E30.. the overall driving feeling is WAY superior than M50 or heavier engined swap... My E30 it's currently M50 swapped and ofc i would love to do an S38,S54 or RB26 swap too,but money it's the problem!

Brilliant video - succinctly encapsulating the essence & heart of BMW
No E92 with the badass high reving V8
Great car but too powerful for it's own good. The E46 was pushing it but was still a happy balance. The E92 on the other hand was too much imo. But technology has helped these newer series considerably (though still absolute monsters like the E92). The I-6 is a better choice for them I think.
The E92 M3 is more on tail happy than going fast
thats true the e92 is BMWs AMG style drift monster
Certainly too much in inexperienced hands, but so is anything at a low to moderate curb weight with over 300bhp.
More importantly the S85 V10 with the high 8,250rpm redline

i got a bmw last spring and since then, my friends have gotten, in order, a e46 325i, an e46 m3, an e46 m3 zhp, and an e39 m5. Once you get into bmw's it can be a slippery slope lol
