It would also be great for a sewing or needlework project bag. Store already threaded needles pinned to the foldout flaps and rolled up project in the 'bag' part. You could also pop a little zipper bag in there for scissors, thread, etc. Great to take along on trips or anyplace you know you'll have time on your hands, like for an overnight care nurse, etc.
Thank you. I can’t leave as my sister is bedridden but my son & I have taken all the preventive measures we can. I’m cooking now so if the power goes out we can still eat. 🙏 & wait now
The quilted thing with the wood piece is to put your casserole dish with a lid inside and then you put the material over that to keep it warm and then you’re able to carry it like a bag! I would use that for my potluck dish for XYZ dinner at church! Extra Years of Zest!!! People 45 years and up!!!
Older British tea towels are linen. I paid 99 cents for a cotton tea towel that said ‘OMG my mother was always right’ Gave it to my daughter- we’ll be speaking by Christmas☺️
Hello Dani, I don't think I've commented before. I'm not sure. But, I just want to say I like your channel a lot and find you to be very informative. And what a lovely personality you have as well.
I think the Mary Engelbreit piece is a casserole carrier. You put the ‘flaps’ over the casserole to keep it warm while you take it wherever you are going.
Really cute stuff, glade you found the other towel. Drive to the wedding, then later you can go shopping. With driving you don't have to worry about what will fit in your baggage on the way home.❤❤
Thank you for the update on Bougie and feather babies. Praying the test all come back positive. Good your on top of exactly whats going on. So enjoyed your Thrifting adventure. Appreciate your knowledge of items. Right on. Love you, for being who you are. Stay Positive. Keep on doing your "thing." Your awesome at your buisness "Re-Selling." 🎉😊🐦
I’m so happy you’re fur babies is doing well. Aww he’s so cute when you talk to him. ❤. Can’t wait to see you in your beautiful dress. You’re really going to look pretty in it. You ought to put your hair up when you wear that dress. If I was you I’d drive. You and your son could handle a 5 hour drive. I’m sure he’ll keep you entertained. He just looks like he likes to joke around. He seems like such a good young man. You did a good job Danni. 🙏🏻❤️
I don't understand not taking something that isn't priced up to the front. They may or may not let you buy it but if you just put it back on the rack, then it's never going to get priced and no one is ever going to purchase it. It seems like if you take the chance maybe it could be back on the shelf priced the next time you come in if you gave it to them upfront. Just my thought. I used to work at Goodwill.
Oh, thank you so-so much for giving us the update on Bougie. I must admit, I've been concerned. You're a great mom! (yep, to your fur babies and non-fur babies too). Oh, I'd drive. 🚗 Thank you for being you. ❤
As someone with a severe dog/cat hair allergy I’ve had major reactions to some items like that hair covered Halloween figure you picked up. I’ve picked up items in Goodwill and had a major asthma attack instantaneously. It’s a little scary and so I’ve learned to avoid the fabric items.
I do love watching your videos from over here in the UK x i am always looking if I can recognise where you are, as i lived in LV Summerlin for a year when my ex hubby had a posting (RAF were embedded with USAF ) was a few years ago and dang it I didn’t even know what Goodwill was x I did come home with a whole lots of rubber stamps and still craft x i have a small Etsy shop started when my dad passed to help clean some of his belongings …i can hear him saying “sell it my dear make a few pounds “ its become a little addictive as i now thrift or as we say over here go to charity shops x love watching you get bargains x my best buy so far was Waterford crystal a set of 6 port glasses for less than £5 x
Drive. If I heard you correct, it doesn’t take very long. Leave early and you can shop on the way there and back. And it will be a lot less expensive than 3 airline tickets.
I would definitely drive. No worries of plane delays or having to rent a vehicle. Which is a headache all by itself, not to mention the cost of renting a vehicle. Definitely drive to Jordan's. You will have your own vehicle to come and go as you please.
Thank you for the update on the birdies! ❤ Praying that you get good news from the vet. I would rather drive than fly; especially since the drive is not that long. Therefore, on the way back home, you could stop at some antique stores 😂. At least that is how my brain works. 😊❤ Take care and God bless. Sincerely, Diane from Missouri ❤
I absolutely love how large your Thrift Stores are in America .I would spend hours in them .Our Charity Shops in England are poky little places . I saw some stuff in this video that I would have snatched up for my own use .The Platter would have gone in my Kitchen on the wall .Also there seems to be a lot of pictures in American Thrift Stores . Hardly any in my area here .I will keep looking though as I need some to go on the walls of my dining room .Happy Thrifting .
So which is more economical, driving or flying? Both have their hassles. I loved that you showed yarn! I am a knitter/crocheter, and I love to find good yarn in the thrifts. Show more yarn when you can please. Some yarn is really expensive. If you ever finds balls Vicuna, qiviut, or artic fox, they sell for big money. Even if you find a knitted garment made of these, people will buy and unravel them for the yarn.
You should drive and stop at shops you and Noah😋😝🙏. It’s fun to watch you and Noah😋😝🙏 shop. Congratulations. You’re going to be a mother-in-law. Congratulations to your beautiful daughter.
The Mary Englebright is a casserole carrier. You cover your casserole dish with a lid or foil, then open all the flaps, sit your dish in the middle of the flaps, then fold the flaps in with the ones with the handles on the outside and ”poof”, you have a casserole carrier!
I would totally drive. I mean 5 hours isn't horrible. That way you have no real time restrictions or lack of space if there if you pick things up there thrifting, and we all know you will do that 😁
I think the Mary Engelbreit thing may be some kind of casserole carrier or dessert Carrier or something for a pot luck? I’ve seen similar before. The container goes in the center, and the flaps are wrapped around it, with the handle flaps on the outside. (It seems you’d have to be really careful with it, though, or the item could get off-center and slide out the sides, (since they don’t seem to be fastened to anything).
The Mexican tile tray with carved holder, they sell tables here in Tubac, AZ - brand new the tables are over 100+ dollars. Not affordable at all for us who live here. The local shops that are South of the Border goods, are all very pricey. For tourists.
Drive vs. Fly, because actual time in the air, plus time spent getting to the airport, going through security, checking in, boarding the plane, taxiing to the runway, take-off, landing, taxiing to the gate, leaving the plane, going through baggage claim, and traveling from the airport to the destination all add up to waaaaay more time than one hour. Even if all of that would still be half the time of driving, is it worth the extra anxiety you have when flying? Also, like everyone else, I can't wait to see your dress once it's altered, but please ask Noah if he wouldn't mind showing off his suit, too. Have a great day! 💞💕💞
We usually drive to San Antonio from Port Isabel believe me we can stop anytime and it's cheaper. You don't have to over spend and you have your own car to drive around town.
I love how knowledgeable you are about your pets; knowing how Boug is molting, what to do & expect, etc..👌👍❤️Good to see that sweetie dancin’ around in his cage!
Awe 😢i hope boughie your sweet bird 🐦 will be ok..tonite my rabbit 🐰 doesnt feel good she is not eating i will call the vet tomorrow i will say alittle prayer for your bird and my rabbit 🐰
You are right about resellers tanking the value of items. I really don't understand their business logic when you give an item for almost nothing. I prefer to have a long tail and sell it to its value than selling by volume with a very thin profit margin.
We had a blue front Amazon that was horrible to everyone but my mom. We all disliked him being in the house because he was mean and loud and my mom gave him free reign of the house. He had a "cage" with the top off. He would come down his ladder every time the cats came in to eat, to bite their tails. Then he HAD to eat dinner with us. My mom always had a cup of tea for the bird to drink and sit on the mug while she fed him. Corn was his fave because he would eat the "meat" of the corn and fling the skins at my father. Then when he was done, he would climb down and pretend he was going to be nice to my dad, and then promptly climb up his arm to bite him on the nose! I actually had to have my mom write a note to my science teacher once because the bird literally ate my homework! I brought the little triangles of paper in to school with the note! He was a nightmare to live with, but it was mostly because my mom just let him roam without so much supervision.
The Mary englebeit carrier could be a vintage casserole 🥘 carrier ..like when people go to church dinners if they still have that I'm clueless I don't go to church anymore sorry but this use to be a thing so maybe 🤔 that is a carrier .
In Florida well, at least in Mount Dora, where I live if you have something without a price tag, you take it to the front and I’ll just call the manager and the manager then hey will give you a price right there.
The Mary Englebright is for carrying a casserole pan.
Yes hot dish casserole for potlucks!
Hot dishes.😊
It would also be great for a sewing or needlework project bag. Store already threaded needles pinned to the foldout flaps and rolled up project in the 'bag' part. That was my guess. Woo hoo I win. lol
I love the jazz thank you. Pls keep me & my family in prayer as we live near the path on the west coast of Florida on Thursday hurracaine
Ms Walker I will be praying for you. My sister lives out there too. Please take care 🙏🙏❤
Thank you. I can’t leave as my sister is bedridden but my son & I have taken all the preventive measures we can. I’m cooking now so if the power goes out we can still eat. 🙏 & wait now
Thank you for letting us know that little feather baby is doing well. I’ve been worried but didn’t want to ask 💜

Hello Dani, I don't think I've commented before. I'm not sure. But, I just want to say I like your channel a lot and find you to be very informative. And what a lovely personality you have as well.
Casserole carrier! My grandma and every great aunt had homemade casserole carriers to take to family dinners! I bought some at the thrift store too.
I love how you call the DIY pieces hobbyist pieces. I already know you appreciate them which is admirable!!❤😊
I think the Mary Engelbreit piece is a casserole carrier. You put the ‘flaps’ over the casserole to keep it warm while you take it wherever you are going.
That's right
My thoughts too.
Drive so you can buy more stuff! Lol..can't wait to see your dress after it's altered!!❤❤
Really cute stuff, glade you found the other towel.
Drive to the wedding, then later you can go shopping. With driving you don't have to worry about what will fit in your baggage on the way home.❤❤
Painting looks to be a water color painting❤😊

I think at this goodwill they don’t let you buy it.
It's a casserole carrier. Great find.
Oh, thank you so-so much for giving us the update on Bougie. I must admit, I've been concerned. You're a great mom! (yep, to your fur babies and non-fur babies too). Oh, I'd drive. 🚗 Thank you for being you. ❤
I received the antique rosary today... it's Wonderful. It'll be going with me to church. Take care. Kathy

Glad bougie is doing well.

So glad you found someone to alter your dress it looked so nice on you😊
The Bombay box should have a brass plate for personalization..... I have one...they are memory boxes.
I love how you do price and profit now! Watching from the Netherlands! 🇳🇱
You picked up some beautiful items. So happy your lil bird is doing better. Loved the video!
Danni, you did it this year. The first Christmas commercial I've seen this year played during your shopping video.
Goodwill needs a place for people to put things that aren't marked. That would help everybody.
I would definitely drive. No worries of plane delays or having to rent a vehicle. Which is a headache all by itself, not to mention the cost of renting a vehicle. Definitely drive to Jordan's. You will have your own vehicle to come and go as you please.
Yes please keep us updated on Bougee!!! Worried about him!!! In my 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
I am so sorry the towel did not work for Bougie. You look better. Stay strong. We are pulling for you.
Thank you for the update on the birdies! ❤ Praying that you get good news from the vet. I would rather drive than fly; especially since the drive is not that long. At 25:10 could the Mary Engelbreit item be a casserole carrier?
Great video and great finds Dani. 😊 I love the tile tray. 😊

I love the vintage linens!
Piano jazz should be your hallmark. It takes your videos to a higher level-so classy!
I would totally drive. I mean 5 hours isn't horrible. That way you have no real time restrictions or lack of space if there if you pick things up there thrifting, and we all know you will do that 😁
Loved the milk glass punch bowl set I think that will be the next thing I look for lol
You had me at mid-century🎉

the Ice Spice Chia Pet you sailed by may have been worth something.
Thanks for the video, Bougie is such fun! ❤❤❤
My Mom had a quilted bag with handles. It’s for carrying a hot dish to a pot luck dinner.
The Mary Englebright carrier is for taking a casserole dish, like the 9x13” dishes.
I just watched video on you tube. You were looking at capidamonte porcelain. I have a few pieces for myself. I'm interested in more.
The Mexican tile tray with carved holder, they sell tables here in Tubac, AZ - brand new the tables are over 100+ dollars. Not affordable at all for us who live here. The local shops that are South of the Border goods, are all very pricey. For tourists.

The Mary Engelbreit with wood handles is a casserole carrier.
You are right about resellers tanking the value of items. I really don't understand their business logic when you give an item for almost nothing. I prefer to have a long tail and sell it to its value than selling by volume with a very thin profit margin.
Nice set of Corning ware
Love the wooden cat! If that box you picked up ( looks like mahogany ) is slanted, it's a writing desk. Have one from Bombay Co.
Awww, sweet sweet Bougie!

Reemtsma was a large German tobacco company.
Danni I'm super curious why you have an issue with Taz? This enquiring mind would like to know? 😉😀
Love me some Taz!
My stepfathers nickname was Taz
He was a very bad man

The Mary Englebert is a casserole carrier. You put your 9x13 pan in and take to pot lucks
That baskety thing is a casserole carrier, for taking dishes.
It was just a guess but I see in the comments I was right about Mary Englebright. Fun video thanks.
That engil bright is a Casserole carrier ( I think)
