I’m 14 I’m going into the lawn care business myself. This is going to be my first season so I’m hoping it goes well. I’m planning on starting a UA-cam channel of my own eventually.
I'm 14 Lawn Care has always been a passion of mine and my mom always told me when I was littler where there's a will there's a way. I just added a couple things to expand my setup A Echo weed wacker and we all know how some really nice lawns have stripes in them well I may or may not have invested in a striper😁 Listen we are all kids we got nothing to lose But here's some tips that really helps me out Invest all the money you get into your business until you have everything that you need. Just because we're kids doesn't mean that we should undervalue ourselves if you do good quality work charge a premium price. Offer your customers other services. I started with just mowing now several of my customer have me do edging mulching and planting flowers definitely gang trust with your customers offers Superior work and customer satisfaction is key. If a job is too big to do and you don't think you can do it don't do it. The last thing you want is a upset customer. Always let your customers know how much your grateful for them because if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have any work always leave it better than you found it. Customers also like see the details done so when you're done mowing blow those clippings onto the grass and don't leave your job site a mess. Any tips that I missed? I'm always open to new ideas and seeing how I can improve.
I am 14 going too be 15 in may here. I gotta say when i am 17 i want to be where you are in business. first year snow removal doing close to 500 bucks every time it snows already got lots of mulch jobs lined up and about to buy a mower i truly love this business and want to follow what you were doing.
Wow awesome setup my good bud Superior Stump Removal picked up I believe the same model skid steer a Cat 259D3. For more hardscape jobs when the stumping game is slow and or for a break. However it seems its just become a glorified Driveway/Street snow clearing machine. That Ferris 3000 blower is something else, I still cant believe that other companies mess around with the little wonders. Good luck this season the content is great.
Man love the hustle. Love the equipment. Wish i would have done things different when i was younger. Dont need heated seat here in florida haha. oh wait yeah i do im old so it helps with back pain.
