Fun fact. Big Bottom broke the record for longest top ten single in Kazakhstan history! Somewhere around 3 years! There's a rumor the druids left England because the food was so bad and headed for....you guessed it....Kazakhstan! Hmmm......
"HELLOOOO WIMBLEDON!"
Maybe those are just 90,000 homeless people who live on the grass there.
After seeing Spinal Tap live I was never the same. The Spirit of Stonehenge now dwells within me.
I know not who I am or what I'm doin'.
i sort of have a grasp on what i'm doing on a daily basis
"Rock and roll should change your life and not necessarily for the better"
one of the top lines... 'we didn't know who they were or what they were doing".. well done~
"Fake" band that is far greater than most "real" bands.
Brian J Dawson that is a good comment and unfortunately it is true
It is not a fake band. It is a "Fictional" band. The main members can all really play their instruments. And they can all sing.
@@karmicselling4252 - I like that description better. In addition to singing and playing their own instruments, they also write their own music. They are also the fictional folk music group, 'The Folksmen'.
No a real band although fictitious and 3 comedians that can honestly shred.
They should make albums of music
There's probably some 15 year old kid standing out in that crowd asking themselves..."who the phuck is this??" (lol..long live Spinal Tap!)
The crowd looks completely confused during "Big Buttom". lol
And his dad and mom are telling him, “Don’t worry, we’ll show you the documentary when we get home.”
I'm 15 I love spinal tap
Literally me but I was 17
You know shit just got serious when a guy's holding a mandolin next to another guy holding a bass with 5 pickups.
One comment about "Big Bottom": They need more bassists.
agreed. where's pino palladino? bootsy collins? flea? nate mendal?
thevoid99 Nate Mendel is there, he's the first guest bassist McKean mentions
That's funny....
at least 11, it is a magic number!
I played a gig once where I was one of the 7 bass players for Big Bottom. Lots of fun being on stage for that.
Where’s the puppet show? I thought they were headlining
annette o toole, michael mckean's wife is one of the backup vocals. Truly legendary band.
Tiny isBoss the other female is Annettes daughter, Mikes stepdaughter.
No way i didn't realise that was her. She'll always be Lana Lang to me
The mom from Smallville?!
I was today years old when I recognized her on vocals. Too cool.
They should be enshrined in the rock and roll hall of fame
yep just for the comedy alone and making marshalls go to 11
That final bass lineup has to set some kind of record...
Hilarious : Stonehenge was built 3000 years before the Druids. Wonderful how they get everything wrong 😀
Also, the stones on the set were not the same size as those in Stonehenge
All Those Years Later And They Still Couldn't Get The Stonehenge Monument Right! XD
R.C Jones feet = inches.
😂
I love that they consistently have new problems with the prop.
Wouldn’t have it any other way!
chuck, you cant sing your way out of this condition

That's alot of pickups on Derek's bass XD
I admit to a certain disappointment when I realised the Stonehenge momument was acutally bigger than 18 inches.
Me too. This looks like a sturdy monument, no chance it could get trampled by a dwarf.
By 2025 it'll be normal-sized.
19 people didn't like this? Wake up and smell the glove!
Right on brother 👊
James Hatfield and Kirk Hammet on bass, priceless
The intro lyrics are probably the most dumb lyrics I ever heard, just great!
RIP Adam Yauch. Fuck bizarre gardening accidents!

Drummer survived...
People must have prayed for him.
For now.
We don't know, at what number, Spinal Tap is already
That's their 76th drummer.
That must have been their 34th drummer. Now their touring with their 42nd drummer.
Wow, they're really a great band!
I know. They rock for real.
Imagine having never heard of Spinal tap and seeing this for the first time!
On bass drums, Skippy Scuffleton . . . pray for him! LMAO x)
Derek rocking bass multiple pickups
I am extremely happy to have found this video of MCA and Spinal Tap. My life is blessed for having seen this.
Too bad they couldn't get Bill Wyman on bass for "Big Bottom"....
Adam Yauch!!! OMG! So awesome to see him here ❤️❤️❤️ RIP we miss you so much.
the part where the top of stone henge flys in.
What were the druids doing anyway?
No-one knows. But their legacy remains...
I can't believe after 50 yrs Spinal Tap finally see their dreams comes alive
It's a highlight, if not the peak, of most bands' career to play Wimbledon!
For a parody its good rock!

That drummer is wearing very little safety gear. You'd think he'd be more careful.
What gets me is that they're so up for a laugh after all these years. Ok, I'm sure they're paid well but their good nature shines through.
its beyond genius....no words to describe this level of satisfaction.
These guys are Warmer than Hell
Michael H Matheny Except Derek Smalls he's like lukewarm water.
Greatest metal moment ever!
For the first few minutes, I was worried that the little guys weren't going to come and dance.
Drummer is Gregg Bissonette!!!
Martha kent as a back up singer :-)
I can't believe people didn't cheer for this song... the entire crowd went WILD on their one night world tour :P
Just to note that it was a two-night tour. They also played Glastonbury.
666 likes. Awesome, I'm gonna comment instead.

I always live by the keyboard players line in the film, 'Have a good time - all of the time.'

That it's so fucking Hard Rock! awesome band
Oh shit, that's Greg Bisonette on drums. What a fucking loss!
“When it has the lintel on top, it’s very scary and impressive! We salute you, our half-built monument!”
Hello Wimbledon!!!! LOL
I just realized. This band is king of a Rock N Roll version of "Monte Python"
No, that's the Rutles. Tap is a rock version of US comedy legends the Credibility Gap.
They're really not.
The most legitimate illegitimate band of all time - Spinal Tap. They're always fun to watch, and the music is actually pretty good.
Every Bassist in the world,,, awe

Greg Bissonette on drums is absolutely nailing everything. They have really rehearsed their parts.

Yes
Gregg Bissonette, the only Spinal Tap drummer who survived.
