  • Today I'm off to do a little kitchen refresh job for one of my lovely customers. The old kitchen is about 20 years old and due for a bit of modernisation. The worktop is fine so I'll just be changing the cupboard and door fronts, filler pieces, plinths, cornice, pelmet and handles. The customer has supplied all materials. The job is slightly complicated by non-standard panel sizes and non-standard hinge positions - so all the cabinets need re-drilled to match modern hinge positions. It's also in an upstairs flat with very limited working space and lots of stuff to carry up and down the stairs. For those interested in job costings that will be over on my Patreon as usual within the next couple of weeks (hopefully!) - link below. Enjoy!

I have just finished a full kitchen refresh project. The sheer irony that as I finish then UA-cam kitchen refresh project to see what's about and how my clients kitchen looks compared to others out there and I come across this video. I used the exact same gloss white slab doors you did. Nice to see someone as OCD as me when it comes to cleaning at the completion of a little project. Guarantees you more work in my opinion. Cracking little video. Thanks for sharing.

Where do you predominantly place your trust for ordering kitchen materials?
Handles, Cupboards etc.... I'm sure you have had plenty of experiences of purchasing from different stores and doing the good old trial and error.
    Great video and idea btw.
Loved the new handles and effect changing just the front facing panels had.
    Thanks, thumbs up!

Cheers Ryan! In all honesty I've never had any problems with B&Q / Cooke & Lewis but I don't fit a *lot* of kitchens. 👍🛠

Shame you didn't change the worktops as well, as they clearly do not overhang the base units enough, to prevent any spills from running off the top and onto your nice new fitted doors....
