Marcia Brady refuses to believe Greg's football rival is using her to get to his playbook! #BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a woman who's the best, with guns, with knives, with her bare hands. A woman who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In Vietnam her job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well Alice was the best.

@@PhilAlumb They were sort of up and down. Their kids were all prone to severe narcissism and out of control egos whenever they did a recognized good deed.
Bobby was telling the truth, but I understand Marcia's skepticism. The boys didn't like Jerry from the start just because he played for the rival school.

Mr. Brady is the worst architect ever. What professional fails to put windows and sliding glass doors in a house. His biggest crime WAS not putting a toilet in the kid's bathroom.
Glassless windows are very common on studio sets. On Fawlty Towers, they had real glass in the transom in the lobby, and it kept on reflecting the spotlights directly into the camera.
I agree, and you should always listen to your heart and the people who need trust as they were always trying to look for you from being dragged along a bad bad deed
In this episode Marica appears to have the Jackie Burkhart syndrome- a shallow young woman thinks she is so gorgeous that when men approach her all they want is to compliment her on her wardrobe and outer appearance- and it is inconceivable that someone instead is interested in her family's money or connections, or something else. Usually Marcia is more sensible.
Having actual glass means studio lights reflecting in them. As well, if you see the dark tinted visors on pilot helmets in movies like Top Gun, you can see they’re dead flat to avoid reflections. Real ones are very smooth and would reflect the cockpit and pilot’s view. There was no glass in any of the Star Wars space ships windows, full scale or models for the same reason.
@@purefoldnz3070 I didn’t compare anything. I gave examples of the problems reflections give cinematographers. If you think that’s “hilarious,” you’re easily amused where there is no humor. “lol” is so played.
Marcia actually stooped to getting into a pissing contest with her little brother and may have LOST it. Certainly, we know that she wasn't on the right side of the dispute.
My God, I wore similar slacks in the early to mid-1970s! I was a little girl and had no idea how horrible they were! Thank God, no pics of me in awful 1970s clothes no longer exist, I threw those awful pics of me in those plaids and stripes out!! ❤😂😢😮😅
I guess after that playbook steal incident Marsha must’ve went over to her brothers and apologize for not believing in them even though they argue all the time they always love Martian and they have to be very protective and cared for her
Every time I watch these I am just getting onto the story when. The video ends. Modern writers should watch this show as see why it was so popular. I mean Bobby’s come backs are pure roast 👍👍
Anybody else ever notice in the last season episodes how often Bobby puts his hands on his hips or in his pockets? Always seemed to catch my eye for some reason.
Marcia should've been considered a traitor for going out with a guy on the opposite team. It wouldn't matter so much if it wasn't football season but it was and she ought to have been rooting for her own team, not the enemy.
Truth be told opponents already have a majority of the other team's plays. This is what scouting is for and yes high schools have scouts. You also have access to game film.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc I think he was in at least 3: as Jerry the enemy, as Greg's bud when Greg is going through his hippy phase, and in one episode he sells Greg a lemon of a car.
And why couldn't Greg purchase the concert tickets online when he was grounded? And when Greg lost Mike's plans while delivering them to the printer, why couldn't Mike just email the plans to the client? And when Tiger ran away, why couldn't they just track his Airtag online? And when Bobby locked Greg in Sam's meat locker, why couldn't they just call 911 on their cell phones?
The overall believe ability of this episode was far fetch when it cam to coming up with a fake playbook. It made no sense as to how Jerry Rogers (the QB) would use the fake playbook since he doesn't play defense, yet he gets blamed for using it. You had to just accept the premise totally to enjoy the episode and learn the lesson of not cheating.
What I don't understand in this story line is where are that moron's parents? Being welcome in somebody's home for other reasons, when your real intention was to steal something and succeed in your endeavour, football game or not, I would have been punished severely, if I had done something like that, as a teenager. All Carol or Mike had to do was ring up his Mom and Dad, and say what happened. Marcia and Bobby are witnesses. NB At the very least why didn't Marcia yell at him and say, "Hey, why did you take my brother's playbook"?, and retrieve it, instead of letting him walk away. The Brady Bunch was a funny show, but sometimes the construction of plot lines was rather weak. And I've said this elsewhere, what teenage boy takes a phone call, in a functional office? Was it his? Even more bizarre.
Alice was such a great character. She made every scene better.
