Watching these segments of "The Brady Bunch" on UA-cam brings back such memories of my childhood. I was an fan of this show, along with "The Partridge Family!"

Definitely credit the siblings because Cindy had been gloating about going on TV, but they didn’t rub it in her face about her performance because they knew she already felt bad enough.
I think they had the most close and genuine relationship. Greg and Marcia were constantly competing against each other, and Peter and Jan really did not have much of a connection.
I saw this episode on Me-TV this morning and it was good! Once that red light came on and Cindy freezes up, the expression on her face was priceless. So, I say in my opinion. But that sure was fun to see! I really enjoy watchin' them shady Bradys!

No , the girls said in a documentary one time how they enhanced their eye color so bad in the episodes, .the originals I can't remember were like that or not.
i noticed everybody's eyes seem that way on this show (guest stars, friends, boyfriends, etc).. i don't remember hearing anything about the episodes being "enhanced" (i doubt that much post-production time/money ever went into them), but Susan did say that "white filmed green" in tv productions during that era and that they would consequently substitute a light grey for a true white whenever possible, so i'm guessing either the lighting required at the time caused colors to distort/brighten on camera, or else maybe something with the film stock they used.
Yes - un-enhanced. The directors or film people may of retouched the negatives - not needed! And their eyes were not enhanced all the time. After all cindy was young and at that age, her eyes were bright/colorful as most kids were. I am guessing that the average TV was 25 inches measured diagonally. And the contrast and brightness of these sets were marginal. So, a little enhancement was done now and then along with bright studio lights. My theory anyway. Also assuming physical enhancements were not done - but possible thru drugs/chemicals? contacts?
What's really difficult to believe is that Cindy tried on all those outfits to pick the one that was best to wear on television and she settled on that hideous dress.
The same thing happened in "The Andromeda Strain" but it was a seizure due to the flashing red light and epilepsy. I read that some Japanese TV shows where a robot had a flashing red light caused kids watching to have seizures.
What's with the Table either missing the Popcorn or the Cookies? One scene both plates were close together. Then another scene, either the Cookies or the Popcorn plate was missing. And then Greg was sloppy with the Popcorn and it mysteriously keeps disappearing and reappearing. Schwarz!!!!! Who was your Continuity Director?

They were learning to accept failure as learning chances and times to grow. Each of the kids had their days their heads were too swelled from momentary successes only to realize they can fail hard too and have to learn to be kind and respectful to others.
