I'm sure if you had these compressor at your disposal when mastering you'd feel the same. I'd certainly call you insane if you were choosing a MBP over these 4 compressors. But that's the difference here. For me the MBP is the budget compressor that can't compete with the big boys.
The MBT however for me is just a silk box as mentioned in the video. I'd be insane to fill my rack with two RND units just for silk. When I can just use one unit for that purpose.
When you directly compare silk capabilities of the MBP vs the MBT. You are insane if you think the MBP would win. I'd laugh you out my studio if you came up saying that. The MBP has the posibity of using one silk texture at a time. The MBT has 2 silk textures at a time. I think you're insane to think 1 silk texture is better than 2.
The insanity in this comment to think the standard silk is better than super silk does make me think you didn't listen to the key part of the video where I said the only thing the MBT is used for is width and super silk. I get the feeling you heard that I swapped the MBP for the MBT and it instantly triggered you.
Ive used the real one and the Portico in Access Analog and I own the NFuse Plugin and Acustica Audio Snow...(Live analog Sampled Portico 1) and I have the Pres Colors and Saturation with Nebula which gives me the actual "Silk" Saturation and Pre Amp live Sampled and I own analog gear
No hating you bro.....
*****RESULTS*****
Snow (Acustica Audio) and the Nebula library with Silk sound just as good as the Portico in my Opinion from using the real one with Access Analog
and the Nefuse in full neve mode with the nebula libaray....sounds just as good as the actual MBT from usiing the real one with Access Analog
Acustca Audio, NFUSe + Nebula with everything I mentioned
Your looking at $600 instead of spending $9000 on the MBT or the Portico
Or you can just pay $139 a month with Access Analog and have access to the Actual Units Unlimited
At this Point between, Kiive Audio, Acustica Audio, Access Analog and Nebula...its really no no absolutely no point in spending 9000 on these....way way overpriced....LMAO
@@johnisrael5183 why are you paying so much for your Neve products?
