To those who keep asking "Where's Minecraft?" two things: 1. It will be in the next video that I am (again) working on (casually, slowly). 2. If you know that Minecraft works with a gamepad, then it doesn't matter if it's in this video. This is not a "Top 100 games" list, nor is it a complete list. It's just a list of 100 games that support gamepads. If anything, it's intended to be informative about games people may not realize have gamepad support. Seems like most people are aware that Minecraft has gamepad support.
When' s your video coming out? I know you mentioned "slowly" but it's been over a year. Will you publish it only when you've found 100 games? If so, lets just hope none of those games on your list are the same from this video. Also, in order to help you with your list, I'm going to mention some games that I've found compatible with my GameSir G4s: Don't Starve Pocket Edition - it's blurry, runs like crap on MediaTek's GPU though. The King of Fighter 98 - this one also works with my controller, but it won't let me jump sideways or do a move that requires half moon forward or backward when using my sticks. Prince of Persia - Shadow & Flame - it works well. Only problem is that the game will run at reduced resolution, which is a little annoying. Rush Rally 2 Skate Party 3 Horizon Chase X-Plane 10 Keep up the great work.
Yeah, it's a mix of "when I find 100" and when I feel like investing the time. My channel is not (so far) a serious channel. I just made this video because I was looking for something like it and it didn't exist - so I made it myself. I have been thinking about the 2nd one lately. I've actually started recording for the next one. So, I actually make it happen. Maybe I'll start taking the channel seriously and make more and more content. Seems people like it. Thanks for the recommendations.
I am still looking for games for part two. It's pretty difficult to find another 100. So far these are the games I've tested and confirmed work well with a standard bluetooth gamepad: Dan the Man, Oceanhorn, Retro City Rampage, KOTOR, Aquaria, Implosion, LEGO Jurassic World, Asphalt 8, Asphalt Extreme, Crashlands, Evoland, Downwell, LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes, Space Marshals 2, Goo Saga, Skyfish, Mechanic Escape, Rayman Adventures. I have not personally tested the following games, but I am pretty sure they will also work:Minecraft, Bully, GTA: LCS, Roblox, Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies There are a lot of games you would expect should work with a gamepad, but they don't. Games like the following DO NOT seem to work with a standard gamepad: Lara Croft: Guardian of Light, Castle of Illusion, Don’t Starve, Brothers: A Tale of two sons
If time permits, I may do another one of these in January. It's been a year, there are no doubt some new games available with game pad support - not to mention some good ones mentioned in the comments. Hopefully I can find some time. No promises. ;-)

Thanks! I really appreciate that. It was the kind of video I was looking for myself and ended up deciding to just make one myself. I figured there were probably others who could use this information.
A really, really helpful video. Thank you very much. I've recently bought a Xperia Z3 and I'm very much interested in bluetooth gaming. I'm really in love with the Steelseries Free because of the look and just how compact it is BUT the one real downside is the lack of L2 and R2 buttons. Do you think they are of huge importance in games? I'm also very interested in the ePSXe emulator (playing PS1 games) and I'm really not sure whether I should go with Steelseries Free. What do you guys think?
I like my Steelseries FREE. The amount of games that require the L2 and R2 buttons are few and far between. The vast majority of games will do fine without the trigger buttons. Especially if you intend to use it for emulation (like PS1), it's perfect.
+ldelporte Alrighty then, I guess I'll just go with it. Yolo. One last question. Why is Max Payne in the Stratus part? How big are L2 and R2 in that game? Thanks man.
+mo shpit Unfortunately, the L2 and R2 are critical with Max Payne. you can't play without them. I think that's how you shoot (if I recall correctly). Any games showing the Stratus XL needed the L2 and R2. Maybe someday someone will create a gamepad like the FREE, but with L2 and R2.
Author, thanks for the video. A big help for seekers of the subj. I met only few games that support coop (2 players). Would you maybe name a few, if you met any? Basically, we only managed to play Real Racing 3, Beach Buggy Racing and Badland with 2 gamepads. Andoid now came to TV boxes, but looks like game developers didn't realise it yet - splitscreen games seem to disappear nowadays.
I've never tried two players on android with gamepads. I'll have to check and see what I can find. I'm pretty busy these days though, so I won't be able to look into it any time soon.
Here's a honourable mention -Minecraft -Escapists 2 -Terraria -Call of duty mobile(online) -JoJos bizzare adventure Hftf (PS1 game use a PS1 emulator) -Modern combat 3 and 4
I like most of the games to a certain extent. Some games, while very good, may not always be ideal for playing on a mobile device (GTA, Max Payne, Octodad, etc.). For mobile gaming there are a few stand-out titles from this list. A few of them surprised me at how good they were. I really like these ones: Bomb Squad Geometry Wars 3 GT Racing 2 Ittle Dew The LEGO games Leo's Fortune Limbo Magic Rampage NBA Jam Repulze Sine Mora Sonic Racing Transformed Soulcalibur Space Marshals One thing worth pointing out... I only included racing games that didn't force auto acceleration on you. I'm not a fan of the auto acceleration in games like the Asphalt series.
+ldelporte OK thank you for replying. I suggest you try out Mage gauntlet , Punch quest , Horizon chase , Beat hazard ultra , AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! , Airport mania 2 : Wild trips , Tiny Theif , Path to Luma , Sleepy jack , 9th dawn and 9th dawn 2 , Carmageddon , Continuity 2 , Run! , Battelstation : Harbinger , WormRun (not on playstore anymore) , Rebuild , Pew pew 2 , Shadowess , Super Dangerous Dungeon , Dragon hills , Sword & Glory , That level again , Mad dex , Only one , Hoplite , Lamp and vamp , Space expedition , Star Chindy , Skull legends , ProjectY , Sorcery! series , Crimsonland , sas zombie assault 4 , Sproggiwood , Card crawl , Breach and clear , World of tanks : Blitz , Dim light , Xelorians , Alone , Super dangerous dungeon , Rusted Warfare , ProjectY , World of goo and finally , Critical ops. These games work well on mobile. I have played many games from your 100 entries I agree with them being good.
My guess is they all will work with any gamepad that works with Android. The Steelseries gamepads I used are what I would consider "basic" gamepads for use with Android. The only times I'm aware of when a gamepad will only work for specific games on Android is when it's a game that only supports the MOGA gamepads. I didn't include any of the MOGA exclusives in this list... nor will I in the next video. I kind of object to the whole idea of MOGA exclusive games. The only reason for it as far as I can tell is to force you to buy a MOGA gamepad. For a platform like Android, that's absurd.
Yeah they all should be universal in my opinion.and my phone and tablet are androids but i also found a bunch of games for ipega 9023 on youtube. But i will try some the games from your 100 list. Thanks for posting. Also whats your opinion on emulator apps? Good or not good?

If you want a few more suggestions, Joe Danger, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Implosion - Never Lose Hope, Castle of Illusion (Supposedly), Crazy Taxi, and Shadow Blade. Pixel Dungeon 1 and 2 apparently support it, however in practice I've had a lot of issues with my Dualshock 4 while trying to play them.
+Justin Wood Thanks for the suggestions. I tried Knights of the Old Republic. It worked for me, but it kept giving on screen notifications during the tutorial that referred to the tocuhscreen (not the buttons). So, I couldn't even get past the tutorial with the controller while using the gamepad. I didn't have any luck with Castle of Illusion, Shadow Blade, or Joe Danger. Castle of Illusion just didn't do anything with the controller. Neither did Shadow Blade Joe Danger gave on screen notifications as though it did recognize a controller, but was unresponsive to the controller. I wonder if those require MOGA gamepads. I didn't try with my MOGA yet. Although, in principle, I'm opposed to the whole proprietary nature of MOGA gamepads. So, I didn't included games that didn't work with basic bluetooth gamepad (like the ones I was using). Haven't heard of Pixel Dungeon, I'll probably give those a try. If you had luck with the other games you mention, then I wonder if the Dualshock controllers have better compatibility with games. Seems strange they would work with the Dualshock and not with either of my SteelSeries controllers. Anyways, thanks again for your suggestions.
+ldelporte Well, for Knights of the Old Republic, the game unfortunately doesn't give button prompts, however if you go to the help menu the control layout _is_ given. There aren't a whole lot of inputs, and the game is really quite fun. I will note, however, that the DS4 has an issue with the D-Pad when using the Sixaxis Controller app, and if you manage to connect via Bluetooth, saving the game manually causes all movement to break and just makes you stutter around until you reboot the game. Castle of Illusion touts that it is 'Best played with a controller', so it might work with my Dualshock 4 due to the Sixaxis Controller app, but as you said, it might just be a MOGA thing. Shadow blade I've only heard works with a controller, haven't tried it myself. As for Joe Danger, it actually works quite well with my DS4. The only issue is that the face buttons are mapped backwards. A is on Square, Y is on B, and vice versa. I can get around that with Sixaxis Controller, but it isn't very elegant. Finally, I can add Tiny Dangerous Dungeons, as well as Fractal Combat and Prime Defenders to the list. The latter are NVidia Shield recommended, so they should work without issue.
Not sure, but I'd wager not many. While some android developers will add gamepad support, most probably don't add single-device multiplayer support unless it's a pass-n-play game. Probably your best bet for local multiplayer games with gamepads is to stick with emulators. That being said, perhaps SoulCalibur would support two players. Also, you might try Bomb Squad. Additionally, maybe some of the sports games would offer two player support (like FIFA or NBA Jam). Finally, you might try the LEGO games (like LEGO Batman). I haven't tested any of those for two players, but they'd be the first ones I'd try from this video list.
Thank you so much for this! I stumbled upon a game that works with my controller by accident but I'm on the last level and can't tell which games have gamepad support on the playstore... :D:D:D Every time I search HID I get "Hidden object" type games -___- This really helped. Did you find all these games by trial and error or is there some top secret way to find out if a game has gamepad support?
I didn't. There was an audio cable in the headphone jack connected to the camera. Then, at times, there was a micro-usb connected to the phone (for charging).
Do you mean the Gamepad on the right side? The small one is called the "Steelseries FREE." I don't think it's sold anymore. It's a tiny gamepad. The larger one is called the "Steelseries Stratus XL"
thanks for the video I found it very useful because it is a nightmare trying to find the right game pad for a Android have a question I watched one or your many video's reviewing the Opera PG9028 are the games listed support the Opera and which one in your opinion is better the IPega PG9028 or the Stratus XL Wireless Gaming Controller thanks again for the video really helped I am about to buy one of them
I basically know everytNice tutorialng there is to know about soft soft but I still watched tNice tutorials through just because of how good you explained
SpartanZeDMan I think it just worked "out of the box" for me. the graphics look better than the emulator because it was improved for modern android devices.
"All Games Played on Samsung Galaxy Note 4" FUCK YEAH :D best phone of 2014 and still holding great untill today! also thanks for the list man I will download some of them and play them :D
Noob World Order Tecnically, every game for PSP, NDS, GBA, SNES, NES, N64, MAME, SEGA GENESIS, ATARI and if you cellphone is good enough, you can play games for Wii and Gamecube.
The Steelseries gamepads used for this video are pretty good. Lately I've been using the Mat Catz Micro c.t.r.l.r and that one is pretty great. I'd probably recommend it the most. The nice things about it are that it's small and still has all the necessary buttons. It has the same layout/form of the XBox 360 controller, which is my favorite gamepad in general. Also, you can use it on PC with X-input, which is good because a number of PC games only support X-input gamepads. All the games in the video were downloaded/purchased from the Google Play store.
Not for these games. As long as it's a gamepad that works with Android, it should work with these games. The only thing you might want to make sure of is that your controller has enough buttons. Some games require more buttons than others.
Many many thanks for this video, lots of great games and some of them that I never heard of but that's the point, they look very good! Some like R-Type or Raiden, Oddworld (saga) are just in my heart and some others like Dungeon Hunter look pretty cool. Thanks for this video seriously, not everytime you see a collection of good games but also unnsual ones.

Thank you very much for creating this video. It helps me decide if I want to spend on gamepad. Appreciate it!
Buy gengame gamepad it works very well.
Minecrat and cod works too i think
Here's a honourable mention
-Minecraft
-Escapists 2
-Terraria
-Call of duty mobile(online)
-JoJos bizzare adventure Hftf (PS1 game use a PS1 emulator)
-Modern combat 3 and 4
Call of Duty Mobile only supports DualShock 4 and Xbox One controllers
Please do another list. I'd love to play some quality games on my Pocophone. Subscribed nonetheless 😉
What a great video... I hope you make a video with actual games... Good videos too about GPD Win
great compilation very interesting games will try out some thanks for posting
What about implosion?
Implosion works great so does Street fighter IV championship edition , Gangstar Vegas and Gangstar new Orleans
Which of these do you think are the best ?
I like most of the games to a certain extent. Some games, while very good, may not always be ideal for playing on a mobile device (GTA, Max Payne, Octodad, etc.).
For mobile gaming there are a few stand-out titles from this list. A few of them surprised me at how good they were.
I really like these ones:
Bomb Squad
Geometry Wars 3
GT Racing 2
Ittle Dew
The LEGO games
Leo's Fortune
Limbo
Magic Rampage
NBA Jam
Repulze
Sine Mora
Sonic Racing Transformed
Soulcalibur
Space Marshals
One thing worth pointing out...
+ldelporte I pretty sure asphalt with a controller doesn't force acceleration. I use a controller all the time.
should update the list man really cool
Are alot of the games on the list compatible with ipega 9023 gamepad controller too???????

All games were played on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910A) Two gamepads were used. When possible, the "SteelSeries Free" was used. For games that required two additional trigger buttons (L2, R2), the "SteelSeries Stratus XL for Windows + Android" was used. In the video, an image of the controller in use is displayed along with each game. This video does not include any games that specifically require MOGA brand controllers. Games were chosen based on having good gamepad support, and on whether or not they were at least decent games in the first place. The games range from "decent" to "excellent" quality. No complete stinkers here. The full list of games along with time stamps is as follows: These games were played with the SteelSeries Free: 1. Age of Zombies 0:04 2. Alpha Wave 0:09 3. WaterDerp
Sadly some of these are no longer available..like geometry wars and age of zombies
amazing games thanks for this list
Hey, did you have some issues to configure the gamepad in dead trigger 1? Because i can't configure the visual with my Dualshock 4
Ps4 and xbox controllers??
Ps4 controllers work and im pretty sure you can also use xbox
Thank you for all the effort. You helped a lot.
+Justin Wood
Thanks for the suggestions.
Neither did Shadow Blade
Joe Danger gave on screen notifications as though it did recognize a controller, but was unresponsive to the controller.
+Justin Wood Instead of tiny dangerous dungeon , try super dangerous dungeon.
+ArcaneThinker Both are unique, free games from the same developer, so why not both? XP
+Justin Wood Because one is just the coloured version of the other. Though there is no problem in playing both.
Ace Racing Turbo also has bluetooth support
спасибо большое , очень удобно...куда удобнее чем листать список на 4PDA

thank u for making this....just got my gamesir controllers!
Well Bullet Force ever be on a gamepad list? I can't get it to work on gamepad...
Tnx for the video. I have an android box and 2 controllers, which of those games support 2 players?
Thanks for this great video ! Do you know if all gamepad are compatible with this games ? I want to buy the Gamesire G3S.
I can't confirm for certain, but I think so.
1 question does minecraft PE work with Steelseries stratus duo controller?
neon shadow support gamepads?
nice video, but one question: can i play vainglory and order and chaos online with the gamepad?
Thank you so much for this! I stumbled upon a game that works with my controller by accident but I'm on the last level and can't tell which games have gamepad support on the playstore... :D:D:D Every time I search HID I get "Hidden object" type games -___- This really helped. Did you find all these games by trial and error or is there some top secret way to find out if a game has gamepad support?
No problem. Glad you found it helpful.
I searched other videos and other sites to find some games. There was also a lot of trial and error.
@Idelporte I'm w8ing for the Oneplus3 and i got a Ipega pg-9028...does it work flawlessly with the device?
how did you connect the Ethernet cable to the phone?
I didn't. There was an audio cable in the headphone jack connected to the camera. Then, at times, there was a micro-usb connected to the phone (for charging).
+ldelporte oh sorry it look like an Ethernet cable so I thought I would ask
+Isaiah Byre no problem. I can see how it might look like an ethernet cable in the video.
What's version of ducktales remastered ?
What's the name of the gameplay on the left side?
Do you mean the Gamepad on the right side? The small one is called the "Steelseries FREE." I don't think it's sold anymore. It's a tiny gamepad. The larger one is called the "Steelseries Stratus XL"
Thanks man!
I love how is this synchronized (A-Z). Sub :d

Heum... How do I find the ducktales?
Wait a second, how did you play with Tomb Raider? I could only start it with a psx emulator, but that graphic is nowhere near as good as this' was!
SpartanZeDMan I think it just worked "out of the box" for me.
the graphics look better than the emulator because it was improved for modern android devices.
Hmm I see, I will look for it, thanks!

do videos for android moba games with gamepad support 2019.
how do i get the games???? and what gamepads are good to get because there are so many
The Steelseries gamepads used for this video are pretty good.
I tried with geometry dash but everytime i hit the X button it just goes back (exits level and wont jump) anyone know how to fix this?
does infinite flight work with a Bluetooth controller?
dose the controller type matter?
Not for these games. As long as it's a gamepad that works with Android, it should work with these games. The only thing you might want to make sure of is that your controller has enough buttons. Some games require more buttons than others.
AtomicLync thx
Rasmus kepp I just use my Xbox one s controller
Many many thanks for this video, lots of great games and some of them that I never heard of but that's the point, they look very good!
Some like R-Type or Raiden, Oddworld (saga) are just in my heart and some others like Dungeon Hunter look pretty cool.
Thanks for this video seriously, not everytime you see a collection of good games but also unnsual ones.
can anybody show me how to know what games and apps support gamepad controller? i can't find games support gamepad on google plays
I am sub number 500 :)
