Just wanted to say I've just found your videos and have watched several and found them very enjoyable. We're long time cruisers from Victoria BC but have never gone through the San Juans. We went to a Krogen Rendezvous in Friday Harbor and had planned to do some exploring since we had already crossed over, but the weather didn't cooperate so we changed our plans. Watching your videos is convincing me we need to come back and take a little time to enjoy the islands. Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos.

Love this videos that you've done. Very informative.
You have a nice family too. Reminds me of when my daughter was little like that. She loves the San Juans and boating too.
    Fair winds and following seas!

Thank you, Brian! Our daughter is 9 now, and we just asked her if there was anywhere special she'd like to go this summer and she said "Shallow Bay on Sucia!" :-)

Do you know if the docks have an area reserved for unloading only?

What cruising guide software are you using for that tablet

That was back in 2012/13, and we were using the Waggoner Guide iPad app. But they found it was too expensive to continually update, so it only lasted a couple years. Too bad, because it was pretty nifty. There is a digital cruising guide out there that we plan on trying soon: salishseapilot.com/

What Cruising Guide were you using?

That was the Waggoner Cruising Guide iPad app - which they only had for two seasons. Turned out to be way too expensive to update every year. But it was essentially the same info that is found in the book.
