That thumbnail reminds me of when Dale Gribble from King of the Hill was a server at Bazooms 😂
Basically from 1995 to 2005 I watched all PPV events at Hooters. It was a great way to watch these shows with a group of friends.
Those Hooters girls weren't your friends.
@@DenkyManner boom roasted
@@DenkyManner Brilliant 👏 you win the Internet for the day.
Same here. I couldn't afford to pay for the PPVs, but I rationalized that I could afford to spend it on the PPV AND food and drinks. Also, it was a lot of fun watching with an audience.
Same where I lived my wife was more then happy For me to go to local bar restaurant that had PPV in 1996-1999Hooters I started going to watch PPV starting in 2000
I heard Rikki Rockett and pictured the drummer from Poison getting in the ring
I was thinking the same thing.
I like this type of segment. I want to hear more of these and more of the old time programs as well.
yeah, this is great stuff. I'd rather hear Jim talking about stuff he loved than complaining about things he hates.
WWE should publish their agent reports in a book. Year by year since 1984
Why not since 1482?
There is a good chance that WWF shredded the agent reports years ago. I would like to see the agent reports from the 70's and 80's myself, see how differently Vince Sr. and Vince Jr. ran things.
@@mharris5047
WWE Archives has all their old booking sheets going back decades (Vince's and Pat's booking sheets are still in the warehouse), so they might still have agent reports.
Every time I think Travis can't top a thumbnail he proves me wrong, well done. That being said, Hooters Girl Corny is going to be tough to top
Aren't we glad Travis didn't use the updated Hooters outfit?
No idea how he'll do it.
He will, in the future.
I did enjoy Jim Cornette's brief reference to Chief Jay Strongbow's agent reports. I'll never forget the time in a shoot interview when Kevin Nash quoted one of Strongbow's reports on a match of his, which stated the following: "You could have had that match in an iron lung." Nash acknowledged that while he didn't know exactly what that meant at the time, he knew "it wasn't an accolade of any kind."
Strongbow used that iron lung bit fo 55 years.
Its crazy how boutique WWF was then. Guys were doing so many different jobs. I would never think an on screen personality would be writing up reports at the office.
This is why I LOVE Cornette...he should be labeled "Pro-Wrestling's" historian
He is known for his historic knowledge of pro wrestling
At this point and considering some of the documentaries I've seen, he pretty much is. He is certainly a recognized authority on it.
100
"Brakus... Nice kid". The guy was 35 at the time
and older than Jim lol
I saw this show in Birmingham, AL. Taker vs Farooq in the old blue cage. HTM was the moderator for the arm wrestling match. He cut a tremendous on the fly promo on some fella in the front row that wouldn't shut up. That's the only live event I've ever been to. Good times. We didn't have a shot at free wings, though.
✌🧡🐓
i think ive seen that house show, theres fan cam of it somewhere
@@nm7781 I know fake Razor was at mine, but the local stuff didn't happen. At least one of the other matches Corny mentioned I saw as well.
Those were the days. Taker and Ron Simmons tore the house down when I seen it.
✌🧡🐓
I've been watching Reliving the Wars from Wrestling Bios and this adds another dimension to those videos, please do more of these
WBios Reliving The War is great!
That channel is absolutely essential viewing. So nostalgic it's brilliant, dudes got a great sense of humour as well.
@@bricktop. totally agree! He def does a great job! Love how he's not fake trying to be too iver top or shocking! Just a cool guy who enjoys what we do!

Wrestling Bios and Mr. Cornette keeping the Wrestling business alive
His tear into Peter Frampton towards the end was hilarious and unexpected. I've always heard he's a nice guy. Maybe someone has an opposing story.
I may be a bit sensitive to the subject anyway, being bald myself. I had long hair as a teenager. I miss those days.
"Don't look like Peter Frampton. Look like MEEE. With Keeps!"
"He couldn't get a date on a tombstone!" 🤣
Undertaker VS Ron Simmons in a steel cage sounds like a pretty good main event!
AH MY FUCKING EYES! I'll never be able to unsee Corny in Hooter's shorts. THANKS A LOT TRAVIS!
What's the big deal? That is nothing unusual for liberal men like Jim. Anyone can identify as whatever gender they what. They can identify as a cat and these mental patients expect you to play along.
@@JEGFL85 It’s a joke, square.
@@lolaloves6574 You never really know with American youth because most of them think in Cartoon and think it's real.
Jim popping for Ron’s hip surgery postponement 🤣
He loves that old school carny shit. Hell, so do I.
Looking at cagematch, most of the top tier roster were in Germany for the European Championship tournament. Ahmed wasn't injured (surprisingly), he was in Germany that night of this card that was mentioned.
this was so entertaining. Jim the story made me laugh so much. and that thumbnail 😂
Just shut up. You weren't laughing out loud and we all know about the thumbnail. It's a dead subject.
ricky rocket lol.
Great story. Lanza seemed like a great guy.
Ok, can we all agree one of top 3 thumbnails ever? If not what are your top3?
micheal myers cornette has to be on there.
It would be easier to remember top characters, like eye popping TK lol
Some of the ones by other artists like street fighter inspired had a really good one.
Marty Jeanetty 😂
@@gman2015z good ol' Bison Cornette
Ahmed vs. Crush as a main event, yikes. That German tour was the European Championship tournament, Davey beating Owen in the final during perhaps the worst shot Raw ever.
its like they took a handheld camera to the show and flimed it.
This is awesome to hear! We need as many of these as you want to share! So cool!
Ricky Rockett has a Cagematch page -- his final match was reportedly in 2003.
Blackjack Lanza getting worked by Ron Wright is the funniest thing.
Sooo basically a SMW show?
I love it when Jim refers to Blackjack Lanza he's always been one of my favorites living here in Chicago since I can remember him the Bruiser and Crusher and Mulligan and Heenan payroll first class.👍
Hooters girl Corny doesn't exist, he can't hurt you.
Hooters girl Corny:
Ricky Rocket for the WWF championship.
"he couldn't get a date on a tombstone" lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Apparently Jim has heat with Peter Frampton. 🤣
They ran a show in Germany and had Brakkus wrestle the show in Knoxville.. the irony.
The lead singer of A Flock of Seagulls could have used Keeps.
I love the mini SMW reunion at the Knoxville show.
Jim couldn’t get laid in a lady’s prison with a hand full of pardons.
Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk 😋
Cornette shooting on Peter Frampton is the promo we never knew we were missing in our lives...
2:02 Classic Cornette Cough.
18:05...
Frampton Makes Cornette Come Alive! 😜
This thumbnail is cursed 😂
(Or a 90s Vince Russo booking pitch.)
I found this video after hearing cornette reviewing the aew surgery angle. Got a chuckle thinking about that .
5:50...
RikkiRocket from POISON?!?
Sitting here thinking when did he become a wrestler ?🤣😂🤣
@@brendanwilliams106 he is a black belt in BJJ so it could happen
17:14 to the end WTF 🤣🤣🤣
3:27...
Seems like I Remember "Crush" Being In Trouble for "Something" & Disappearing Altogether.
(Drugs Maybe...)
How many times did Undertaker get the match of the night in these reports i wonder. And Taker was being made to work with bad workers too many times.
Hope your not referring to Farooq (Ron Simmons) was one of the best ever to do power style wrestling
After his rant about Peter Frampton, I was laughing so hard, I was rolling on the floor! 😂💪
writing this before watching
HOW THE HELL IS CORNY WEARING A HOOTERS UNIFROM FITTING TO A STORY ABOUT 97' AGENTS XDDDD
okay, i'm ready to watch now
I've been watching through 1997 Raw and Nitro again recently.
A mixed bag of a year but some great entertainment.
Omg i was at the Aschaffenburg show!!!!!!
Hooter's corney is the cornette i didnt know i needed until right now
I can't get the image of Jim dressed like a Hooters girl out of my mind now🤣
The Vince Russo TNA Script is still Hilarious to Me ….. 💀
No shows and substitutions were common at WWF house shows.
I would love to see Jim in the Hooters outfit in person
Request it on his Only Fans.
Ol flabby pale white legs an shit.. lmmfao
He does Cameo. You'll have to pay extra for that. A lot extra...
Blackjack Lanza seems like a pretty swell feller.
I love the promo Jim cut on Peter Frampton!!
I was at this show in Knoxville and everyone there loved it taker climbing the cage in the middle posing and camera lights flashing first wwe show ever and it was magic
Howard Finkel is one of the unsung heroes of wrestling.
That thumbnail might be the best ever 😂😂😂😂
Wow this was my first WWF show ever live in Knoxville i can only remember the cagematch mainevent and the sunny arm wrestling match it was along time ago i took pictures but due to me being young and dumb at the time lost those snapshots knowing what i know now wish i would of took better care of those things and WCW house shows in Knoxville i attended around the same time
I guess we're in the Chicken Business.😂
Lol WWE could do Cornette vs Peter Frampton in a Sprite Zero on a Pole match at WrestleMania....then induct Frampton in the HOF.
I was there at that show in Knoxville!
Awesome Shoot Today Jim!!😎🐐🐐
I always ask people here in Evansville if they remember when the Dirty White Boys came out to Foreigner's Dirty White Boys........no one ever does
Blackjack Lanza is the man.
I was at this show. Corny, you forgot to mention me sneaking backstage.
How many House Shows were money-losing shitshows in those days? Could it be the PR damage from failed house shows would be an "assist" for why WCW gained some steam back then?
Ya I usually just watch documentaries or thrillers, I’m in the same boat can’t really find anything good to watch
This is great content. I love this kind of stuff.
Just from this report alone, Jack Lanza comes off as the sweetest human being.
I love that it was someone’s job to make sure HBK didn’t show his ass in the ring.
first thing that got my attention in this vid what a prick hbk is
I dated someone from Aschaffenburg and this is the first time I've heard the place referenced in a non-German context lol
Also I love Jim's disdain towards Frampton lol
I'm sure Corny has worn the Hooters outfit on role play night...
We found Ricky rocket by the back door😝😝😝
I love agent reports.
so is this frampton promo a work?
great stuff
Kane
Great segment!!!
MORE MORE MORE....READ MORE!!!! That was very interesting. Haha besides Farooq vs undertaker that was a terrible card haha.
Is this a repost? Sounds familiar.
Great content!! As usual
Jim must have lost a bet for this thumbnail art to be like it is

THE FINKLE REPORT!!
Talking about Shawn, I watched a 97 match Austin and Shawn v Road Warriors, one of a few I haven't seen. Shawn did quite a few of they ridiculous Hogan overselling bumps in this match. It was a really hard hitting match as you can imagine, constantly getting taken of the moment by his over selling, guys a wanker, imagine what Hawk could have done to him if he wanted !
Well to be fair, the hogan thing, hogan deserved it.
They were supposed to do 3 matches, so each of them would go over. But hogan being hogan decided “that doesn’t work for me brother” and scrapped the whole feud
@@alexalexalex797 yeah I know that and agree but in this instance it was out of order imo
@@metallicbigtoe3949 it was definitely unprofessional, but justified.
That being said, if it wasn’t a big star like hbk who did it, they would’ve been fired 🙃
@@alexalexalex797 yeah Hogan had that coming for a long time tbh
I just looked up this card goldust and the blackjacks were on the card
If next weeks entire show is just agent reports, I’d be more than okay with that.
"LOUD NOISES!!!"
This artwork is hilarious 😂
My God that thumbnail 🤣🤣🤣...
Love the top but shouldn’t it be more low cut?
He really has forgotten more about professional wrestling than most of us will ever know. I've been there as a booker when all but two guys got sick, but in my case the promoter just canceled the event and offered refunds or free entry to the next.
Never would have expected Cornette to be jealous of his two legged rats.
AEW should hire Ricky Rocket
I think I know Ricky rocket!
Not once in my life did I ever consider the idea of Jim Cornette working at Femboy Hooters and I wish I could go back to 1986 and get Night of the Skywalkered as a kid so I would not be present to bear this curse.
Femboy hooters deffo a money maker tho
@@craigyoung2261 💯
I really need to invent or create some product and then have Jim plug it..fucken hilarious! I'd sell the shit out of it with his promos LOL

That thumbnail makes me uncomfortable
Man, what a fucking rotten era in WWE history..... The Godwins, Disciples of Apocalypse, Los Boricuos, Fake Diesel and Razor.... I'm very surprised WWE didn't go out of business right then and there.
Them damn shorts are too damn long, cut them off more than half and we'd been in heaven.
How much would a person pay for a print of the art Travis does?
