Sailing the Seawind 1600 - [SAIL AND WALK THROUGH]
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 вер 2024
- Our first sail and first impressions of the 52 ft Seawind 1600 before it goes on display at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. Designed by Reichel Pugh and built by Seawind catamarans, this design has beautifully balanced performance with luxury and comfort.
Warning Youtude aficionados: This video was shot in one take without scripts, on an iPhone and Mavick Pro Drone while delivering the boat to the owner. So don't expect a Hollywood production - just our thoughts and some key features of our first sail without production.

Beautiful boat in all ways...
love the seawind1600 if i only had the money
Beauty cat.
Waiting eagerly for Part 2 :)
The best sailing reviews 👍🏻
C Mosca thanks appreciate your support!
Would have loved to see more sailing. There are plenty of videos showing the inside of the boat. Not a lot of actual sailing. Sailing angles, speed, true wind, etc. Maybe set asymmetrical (if they have one). Thanks!
I agree, to be fair on this one he didnt have a lot of wind to play with, but perhaps wait for a better sailing day to do the vid, it never rains in winter in SE Qld :-)
@@fraggle812002 Enough wind to show us how slow she is not.
Nice, but I think I like the smaller boats more. I love the tri fold door for indoor outdoor flow. It doesnt feel much bigger than a 1260..., still a lovely boat all the same and lead the way imo in value for money performance catamarans.
Definetly a great choice in this range. As It becomes possible, please show practicle liveaboard and safety driven details, such as the removable ruders. What are the diesel and water capacities? Tks.
Alexandre Frossard Nogueira thanks for your feedback. We plan to follow up with more of this detail...part 2. Let us know any specifics to cover
To be honest, it has inadequate windows in the cabins where you would want them and a pile of windows in the salon letting heat in on an angle.
Is the rear view at a different windspeed 1:52? Feels like a mix of different films.
I didn’t see Seawind on the exhibitors list ( some time ago) nor Kraken et cetera.
Definitely there - both the Seawind 1260 and 1600. They may have put them under Multihull Central
More please
Hi Peter, yes we plan to provide a more detailed overview of its sailing systems etc. Also on display at the boat show.
Lindo bonito marvilosa deus abenco a todas ais famílias de deus
Is ist also great for single hand sailing?
Markus Krott definitely for someone experienced, but a second set of hands makes things easy
Muito lindo amigo fica com deus
Still not a big fan. Some nice features but if I'm buying a true blue water boat, I want a protective hem position.
@balls bag buy you a ball bag you gronk plonk
In bad weather you use your autopilot and are most of the time in the saloon on the nav-station. Always these "no helm protection, no blue water boat" experts...
Not really a performance video. Not really a specs for cruising either...
Reichel Pugh designed a Cat?
Blasphemy to the highest degree!
D Max haha - eventually all monohull guys come around 😉
@@MultihullCentral1 Resistance is futile...
Put a sailor on the boat...trim the sails RIGHT, & show us if its a sail boat or caravan...LOOK at that trim :-? arrrgg
