@caweso8321 Phúc is a Vietnamese name meaning lucky. They speak tagalog in the Philippines. Why would they use a Vietnamese name in a country that speaks tagalog? That would be like an Anglo guy named Mostapha. It wouldn't mean anything to his cultural peers.
I had a friend when I first moved who was Vietnamese and was called John but his ACTUAL Vietnamese “birth name” was Phuoc. AND being 12-year-old little bastards, we TEASED HIM RELENTLESSLY once we discovered this. 😂

@Hesmasher2099 - agreed - delivered by Colin Farrell makes it perfect.
One of the funniest lines in the movie. Underrated

Colin Farrell.. One hell of an actor 👌
That new Penguin show is fantastic with him, watch it if you havent already.
Excellent human too, read an article about him and his son, seems like an outstanding person.
Farrell's little stutter delivery at 2:09 never ceases to make me laugh. His accent and character was so good in this movie!
I think that's just farrell's normal accent lol
But yeah, he's great everywhere i've seen him
@@elmaistrodeteotihuacan There's no way he talks as quick and as harsh as he did in this one. But if so, that's amazing.
@@ComedyBros5 He absolutely talks like this in real life, just as fast and harsh lol..pure Dublin accent
he's Irish
It's a common Vietnamese name. It pronounced Phu-C like fork. Poor fella died hearing his name being screwed and slang
in Vietnam there is a chain of coffee stores called Phuc Long, no kidding.

In Sydney there's a Vietnamese butchers called Phuc Dat. SERIOUSLY

The Gentleman. It's another good Guy Ritchie film.
In United Kingdom, the train catches you.
The director should have had him yell phuc when they ripped tge tape off
As a Vietnamese, it's pronounced like "fook" without the "k".
So it's not pronounced like fook then?
Wouldn't that be "foo" then?
Funny things is those boys saved Them all in the end , if they dident do that job they all would had been dead

How many Phucs do you think there are?
Many. It's a common vietnam name.

Talk about having a bad day. Read your horoscope every morning. And on occasion - go back to bed and don't go out.
