Great video. One minor correction. You tied a Poachers Noose not a Halyard Hitch/Knot. Both work the same way as a sliding knot on the standing end of a rope and will work for your purpose.
Good work on repairing the power cord! Decent score for someone who hasn't bowled in a while! Syd's bowling technique is awesome, but a bit too vigorous! If you try that you might spill your beer!!! Best just to watch her do it!

He walks back up to the bar and orders a beer. The bartender squints at him and says, “Hey, aren’t you a rope?” The rope says, “Nope, I’m a frayed knot.”
Congratulations on the new dinghy, I try to avoid the word awesome; but, the dinghy is pretty awesome. That dinghy is nicer than many peoples boats. Bowling looks like ya'll had a lot of fun; but, the gutters may need resurfacing after so much use. But credit due where credit is due, ya'll did a great job avoiding hitting as many pins as possible, they will probably last longer that way - ecobowling make the pins last longer.
I like to use a rope thimble to keep the chain from chafing through the rope. You might need to add a ring if the chain is too narrow for the rope thimble.

Just a suggestion Bobby...try some Howes fuel treatment between tank cleanings. I'm a career trucker and I haven't seen anything better for maintaining fuel quality and eliminating water contamination and algae growth
And then there is the anchor bend, wherein you get a full turn on the chain link...that is attached to the....anchor! Because of the full round turn with the anchor bend, the chafe factor at the chain interface is minimized.... while, like the halyard knot, it gets "tighter" as increasing amounts of tension are applied.
Bobby it was very nice to meet you in St John, you are a real legend, super friendly and down to earth. I was really impressed with your dinghy it even has navigation lights!
That went with the sailboat that took on water quite some time back. He sold the boat rather than fix it, and then stayed on a charter boat for a while, and found this boat to buy. You missed a lot!
I thought it disappeared when he had his mini boat catastrophe. Got lost or damaged? I'm not positive about that though. I never saw it again after the fire.

Bobby, in a recent video I believe you mentioned that Puerto Rico is your home port. What about hurricane season? Will you stay in that area or head to an island like Grenada? Also curious about insurance if you're staying in PR during hurricane season. Stay safe, and thanks!

You should check the carabiners you are using to lift the dingy are strong enough as they look a little small and the dingy is not so light.
They are rated at 700lbs.... the boat weighs 700lbs... so split 3 ways they are fine

Depends how you buy them, some dealers will do the break in periode in at static setup but you pay for that.
Breaking it in for the first 30-45 minutes... vary the rpm and keep them low
