I will say this about Alonso: he loves baseball. He’s super passionate, is already a clubhouse leader as a rookie, is so committed to detail he keeps a notebook of all of his at bats, and it seems like he’s gonna be an all star for years to come. These are just some intangibles that no number can show, but he’s extremely valuable in these ways.
Underrated is very subjective but I'm sure I could find some players. Check out Stark Raving Sports video on John Olerud by the way. Very underrated player!
The one thing I find fascinating in all of this is more up my alley than the analytical aspects, which is clearly what this channel is about. That being Bellingers anatomic characteristics in comparison to other highly regarded rookie peers. What I mean is you took a lanky 6'4 frame with average muscular density and created a powerhouse that is up there with some of the most densely strengthened men the MLB has ever seen. Aaron Judge's power shouldn't come to a surprise for a guy who's 6'7 and 280+ lbs. Even Pistol Pete is clearly a meaty specimen. McGwire held over 40 lbs of muscle on Bellinger with only a recorded inch over him. It really tells two different stories about the mechanics of sluggers. One being that the muscularity of hitters definitely play in one's favor to an extent if the dynamics of the swing are not superb (ie. McGwire, Sosa, ect whom held insane strikeouts), while guys like Bellinger and Griffey may have had times of strikeout amounts they weren't stoked on BUT utilized the type of swing that's more apparent in today's game. Not really analytical but with the introduction to Statcast and a better understanding of kinesiology in baseball, this is very interesting to me. And I'm giving a lot of credit to an exceptional player for the Dodgers as a lifelong Giants fan.
Love your vids man. Can you do one about Jorge Soler's breakout season similar to Marte and Urshela? As a Royals fan weve been waiting forever and it looks like he's finally on track as he's just reaching his prime. Keep up the good work my man!
Love this channel and i just discovered you i love baseball anything love how this video was edited and all the info that can with it so engaging. Keep it up
I would love a video that has to do with the pirates and their current situation of having one of, if not the, lowest payrolls in baseball and what their path to the playoffs could look like! Thanks!
Just wanted to say you have awesome/informative content. Along with a great video format. Hope you get the true recognition you deserve soon! Keep it up
@@outtaherebaseball3205 If you haven't done it, I think you should do a vid on the Coors effect entirely, and how it did/didn't affect great players like Larry Walker, Todd, Helton, Ellis Burkes, Nolan Arenado, and Chuck Nasty
Alonso is underrated as a First Baseman. I think in the years to come (assuming we have them) he will be known positively for his defense than many expect.
Yankees Fan 99 from a 23 year old Yankee fan to a 12 your old one, they hate us cuz they ain’t us brother. Ya just gotta learn to roll with it my friend.
Mets fans love to believe Judge and Alonso are even on the same level. Judge should’ve been MVP over Altuve(even if we don’t talk cheating) and has dominated despite injury. Alonso hit a lot of homers as a rookie, but that’s his whole value. Let’s see that hold on
Albert Pujols career breakdown please. I would also like to see the top 3 Latin American/Caribbean player's from each country with the minimum of 3-600 AB or more.
Can you talk about Brazilian players? There are just a few of them: Yan Gomes, Andre Rienzo, Paulo Orlando, Luiz Gohara and Thyago Vieira. Bo Takashi is around the corner and Eric Pardino is a top 10 Toronto prospect
Could you do one with how much PED’s actually impact someone’s performance on the field. Like stats before and after. (Ex: Ryan Braun, players during the steroid era, Henry Mejia)
Daniel Strohm honestly idk why people whine so much about PED’s just because they’re illegal. If you suck ass and it won’t do jack shit. it’s only beneficial if you are already great, that’s when it becomes ridiculous. ex. barry bonds
Great vid!
Thanks baseball!
That’s pretty nice of you mr baseball
I’m not drawing my own conclusions about Yordan Alvarez. I’m banging my own conclusions
ADRgman too bad he played In 2019
Yordan Alvarez played 46 games at home and hit 14 HR, he also played 41 games away and hit 13 HR, though stuck out 4 more times
ADRgman too bad he played in 2019 and not 2017

Yes! And Judge and Bellinger too, Pete and Judge are captain material and having two stars shining in NY it's great for the game.
Your channel is going to blow up soon
You should make a video on the most underrated players in the mlb and why they arent getting recognized
Triple Digitz27 like David Fletcher
SmittyC Baseball he’s not exactly underrated
Underrated is very subjective but I'm sure I could find some players. Check out Stark Raving Sports video on John Olerud by the way. Very underrated player!
Few people that come to my mind that play right now:
- Ji-Man Choi
- Marcus Semien
- Wilson Ramos
- David Fletcher
Rendon is underrated

You need to look at the magically up and down career of Scooter Gennett
For every like 10 push-ups and 10 sit-ups so I can look like Barry bonds with out steroids hopefully
A heart from me is worth double 👍
Love your channel thanks for harting my comment
I did 200 push ups and 200 sit-ups I’m really sore
You're gonna need a few Needle-ins too Chase.
Great Video!
I would enjoy a Jeff McNeil video because he came from no where and is one of the weirdest ( in a good way ) players in the MLB
Thanks for making this

Thanks! Your my number 1 Baseball source.
Aaron judge is a beast thank you for letting everyone who didn’t know now they know ❤️
Great video as always bobby!

Thanks for the great content!
Thanks for the sub! Prior is a great topic
Damn already 11.5k remember me when you get to 100k
I got here at 3.3 and that was within the last 6 weeks lol we’ll be there soon
Flaco Burnez ya I’ve been here since like the beginning of March when he had like 1k so he’s gonna get there very soon
You should do a video where you break down baseballs top 25 prospects
Love this channel and i just discovered you i love baseball anything love how this video was edited and all the info that can with it so engaging. Keep it up
Awesome 👍🏻I would also like to see a video about how baseball was invented
That would be sweet! I like his historical videos. 👍⚾
Yeah that would be a good topic! My final paper for a history class was on that actually
You should do a video on what happened to Chris Archer when he got traded from the Rays to the Pirates
The beginning is insane
I would love to see a video talking about the evolution of pitching and the most recently created pitch an stuff like that
Aaron Judge is a beast and he was playing with a broken rib and punctured lung in the playoffs
He was wow and he hit what 4 postseason HR
You should make a video about the Dodgers lineup in 2020 and compare it to the Yankees
I would love a video that has to do with the pirates and their current situation of having one of, if not the, lowest payrolls in baseball and what their path to the playoffs could look like! Thanks!
Keep up the great content man! Loving all the videos your putting out
Could you talk about Marcus Semien’s stellar 2019 compared to his other seasons?
Great video, you should make one about the upcoming WBC
Just wanted to say you have awesome/informative content. Along with a great video format. Hope you get the true recognition you deserve soon! Keep it up
I appreciate it!!
Can you do a video about Nolan arenado being an all around great player, and how the coors effect is holding him back from winning a MVP?
Definitely an interesting topic. I love arenado so I'll add this to the ideas list!
@@outtaherebaseball3205 If you haven't done it, I think you should do a vid on the Coors effect entirely, and how it did/didn't affect great players like Larry Walker, Todd, Helton, Ellis Burkes, Nolan Arenado, and Chuck Nasty
Hope you can do a Ronald Acuna jr. Vid soon maybe with a look at the braves rebuild 2014-2018 mainly that unexpected explosion from 2016 to 2017
Judge was robbed of MVP in my opinion
CGR totally Judge no drought deserved that AL MVP title they better give it to him
@@happyblobfish6077 I think even without all the sign stealing stuff he still deserved it over altuve
Great Episode brotha!
Keep grindin man, you produce top quality content
awesome video as always! do you think you could do one on the overshadowed 2005 white sox? it would mean a lot to us fans!
Do one on Derek jeters actual fielding ability
Still love this one brotha
Good stuff, it seems like every year one of these young guys goes off and hits a ton of homers. I didn’t know how special this actually was though.
For real I didnt know how good their seasons were, especially Judge, until I was researching this!
Can you please make a vid about the Orioles rebuilding. Also great video
Another good one, I like the new graphs. Do a graph on how your subs have exploded. LoL👍⚾📈
I was gonna include my sub graph from youtube analytics in my 10k thank you vid but maybe when I hit 25k I'll show it!
Thanks for the shoutout! Great content! A video of the 3 headed monster in Atlanta next? 🤔
Alonso is underrated as a First Baseman. I think in the years to come (assuming we have them) he will be known positively for his defense than many expect.
Do a video on Josh Hamilton and how Home Run Derby homeruns isn’t the only thing he’s hitting
ted jbest comment
2016 Gary Sanchez rookie season would be awesome to break down
Yeah him, Hoskins, and Olsen could make a good topic for rookies who dominated in a late season callup!
I'd love to see a video on the different roles of the bullpen
Aaron Judge Is my favorite player.
@Mason Joseph shut up. It's called COMMENT not answer but COMMENT get your facts together dumb boy
Yankees Fan 99 we still haven’t asked
@@mattchampionwithboxes OMG your do dumb, I'm 12 and it's called COMMENT so it's not called answer but COMMENT. Dumb you must be 7
@Mason Joseph And I'm 12. How old are u 6,7

a video about which pitchers throw the best of each type of pitch would cool, like who has the best fastball or slider, etc...
I like that idea! And thankfully we have data to help evaluate that sort of thing now!
Could you do a urshela type video, but for a pitcher, maybe Brandon Workman? or Liam Hendricks?
love your video’s!!!
Mets fans love to believe Judge and Alonso are even on the same level. Judge should’ve been MVP over Altuve(even if we don’t talk cheating) and has dominated despite injury. Alonso hit a lot of homers as a rookie, but that’s his whole value. Let’s see that hold on
Alexander Remoll I totally agree
How about the future of Juan Soto or Ronald Acuna
Please do a video on the worst player of all time
Needed this 💯
Love the vid. Could you do a video on Jose Bautista and how he changed from being terrible to 6 straight all star starts?
That's a really good topic! I'll look into it for sure
@@outtaherebaseball3205 tysm! and heres to 100k subs
Great vid
Could you make a video about the Andrew Friedman era with the Dodgers? (Shaping the roster)
Albert Pujols career breakdown please. I would also like to see the top 3 Latin American/Caribbean player's from each country with the minimum of 3-600 AB or more.
Can you do a video talking about top 5 teams and who has the best farm system in the future.
Could you do another 'what happened to them' on Wade Davis? He was so dominant, then he lost it and looks more like when he was a starter.
He has had quite the career! But yeah I'll add him to the list
Where do you get all your advanced stats from?
Mainly fangraphs! I use baseball savant for batted ball data (exit velocity, etc)
Can you talk about Brazilian players? There are just a few of them: Yan Gomes, Andre Rienzo, Paulo Orlando, Luiz Gohara and Thyago Vieira.
Bo Takashi is around the corner and Eric Pardino is a top 10 Toronto prospect
Do a vid on the blue jays and padres rebuilds
What about Ted Williams 1942 triple crown season, because his stats are MVP numbers and he finished 2nd which is a head scratcher to me.
Do one about guys like Carlos Santana, Alex Bregman, Joey Votto. Guys that got a really high BB/K rate.
I'd love to see a video on Joey Gallo.
I was actually a little surprised I didn’t see anything about Juan Soto
Do a video on josh Hamilton and how he was a generational talent before the drugs and dv cases
Do a stat story about Acuña vs. Yelich
You should make a video about how the delayed season will effect mlb teams
do one about most unlucky pitcher. 2019 Mitch Keller has to up there
please do a giants rebuild video
5:18 The GOAT!,!!! 🐐
Good video minus the Astro slander on yordan
Nice video
Alonso is the real deal...he will be this generations David Wright. Great with the media and I feel will continue to be productive
Don't forget that the balls fly More today that in 2017
I don't think that Alonso hit 50+ homeruns in 2017
Maybe 40
Do a vid on the cubs chances
Absolutely have to do a video on joey gallo and how average fans think he sucks but sabermetrics say hes awesome
I've had some people suggest him before and yeah he would be a great topic!
Judges rookie season rates way above bellinger and Alonso’s
Do a video on jimmie foxx or ted willians
Older players don't do as well in search results but when the channel gets a bit bigger I will absolutely cover players like them!

Cool vid
4:11 so what you’re telling me is S.J.J. Was really good
Can you do a nationals video please
4:55 I hope you didn't have to mark all of those dots yourself lol
Haha thankfully no! Plotly is pretty good with graphs but I'm always looking for a better program
Can you do a Toronto blue Jays
rebuild
I know age isn’t a requirement for Rookies but Bellinger was 21, Alvarez 22, Alonso 24, Judge 25.
Wouldn't have been nice to see what Cody estmate final homerun would have been if he did have a little more at bats his rookie season.
Can you give your thoughts on the Arizona Diamondbacks offseason moves?
I've had some people suggest that and I think I'll do it soon!
How the nats won the 2019 WS
I don’t know if you consider this a down fall but it would be cool if you made a vid on Keuchel winning cy young then starting to suck
How about the decline of Cargo?
I like that idea! Always enjoyed watching him hit
Good shit
Do one on Jeff Bridich being a terrible GM
Can you do a video on why the Pirates are so bad. This is coming from a Pittsburgh fan.
Upload daily we're bored lol
I wish I could 😂 but for real, if I can do this full time one day I'll be able to throw in a second video some weeks
Make a video about the rise of Justin turner
Do something for either bo bichette or the breaves
He's got a good one about Bo.
'You don't know Bo'
ua-cam.com/video/2C5Lcl8CWtY/v-deo.html
I covered Bo awhile back but the braves would be good too. I'll get around to covering every team eventually!
What happened to former brewer pitcher Ben sheets!
Yes great suggestion! I remember getting a baseball card of his that had a piece of his jersey in it. That was really cool to me as a kid lol
