Misner is from my hometown, he played football in junior high and 9th-11th with my brother. He was the QB and left football to focus on baseball his senior year, lot of the team didn't understand then but now I think everyone realizes that was a great decision by him.

Hey, great video, and being a Marlins fan it was interesting to watch but it feels like you missed some stuff. A big part of the marlins is many underrated average players that have just been added including Jesus Aguilar, Jonothan Villar, Corey Dickerson, etc. I feel these players will have a sooner impact than the prospects.
I was excited when Yelich, Realmuto, Ozuna, Fernandez, Stanton were getting called up only for all of them to be gone (except the tragedy of Jose's death), but its always the same shit... waste the talent, trade them and start from scratch... eventhough the farm system is really good now, its hard to be optimistic with how awful our Front Office always is... either way, great vid man, keep it up!
I think that’s a big reason why attendance is low. Every time Marlins fans get players to be excited for ownership ends up tearing it down soon after. Only so much losing and fire sales a fan base can take before losing all trust in management. I think it’s gonna take a period of sustained winning to start winning people back.

The Marlins have a starting pitcher named Humberto Mejia. He played for Single A affiliate Clinton Lumberkings in 2019. I saw him pitch 4 games, including a 2 hit game. I think the kid has some serious potential. I dont have any metrics to back this up. I just watched the kid pitch gems. He’s in AA now. I really look forward to him making it to the majors. I think he’ll do well
He's got some great stats and is a top 30 prospect in their system. I think scouts just aren't as high on his velocity and strikeout ability so think he'll struggle against better competition. I hope he does well though!

It’s always interesting to me how different the Marlins perspective is from those that study the game and are likely diehard baseball fans/students versus casual fans that spew narratives and half-baked conclusion. Stunner: those that study the game tend to arrive at the same conclusions -> Marlins needed a rebuild, they executed an imperfect but above average one, and are well on pace for a sustainable competitive team. And this is without even addressing all the off-field improvements the new ownership group has done. Again, tip of the cap to you.

Johnny Bawlz did an OOTP thing with the Marlins last year and won a World Series. They have lots of potential in the farm system.
