How To Make Escapement Weights

The people who have built any of these escapements know that you can make the escapement run with about anything you can clamp to or tie on the end of a string. I have seen and used about everything from visegrips, roll of duct tape, popbottle filled with water, coffee cup etc. That is totally excepted during the get running stage, but once you have established the weight of the weight, its time to make a nice looking permanent weight.
