I experimented briefly with Rival in an XBZ tank, but then got distracted by another project. I might have to pick me up a drain blaster and get back on that project again. Also thinking about the feasibility of a HPA-Apollo, but I'm still doing HPA research...
Josh Lowe He recently said that they're currently working on a more in-depth tutorial type video about HPA, so I kinda hate to bug him too much about it quite yet.
***** awesome little vid though. I have a blaster that I bought years ago at a goodwill, it has the same pump concept, but holds 20 darts and shoots them like a gattling gun. Does this seem new? I've been trying to find it's origin for a long time now
and btw i have had up to 45 pumps in my shotgun Warning! don't ever go any higher than that. Also, from experience, that little thread on cap on the back behind the tank might crack, its not an overpressure valve so it is safe to clog it, I did:P and I would recommend you integrate it into a barricade shell like captain xaiver has done, you should check him out.
I'm working on a drain blaster myself, but I've killed 2 already at around 12-15 pumps :/ but at 10 pumps I'm already shooting harder than I want to be shooting at people, and that's without a half decent air seal, and introducing dead space, AND a loose dart fit in the barrel. So there's a lot of potential, but I'm going to need to see what other people are doing, and what other drain blasters I can use to build from.
Bought at the local hardware store, but they swapped them over (80% of why I prefer to buy locally), now I'll just not use more than 10 pumps, which without a proper barrel is already causing REALLY bad fishtailing, which is a problem since the first thing I was going to try and build was basically a sniper/ marksman blaster. also managed to pop some darts open with the pressure (Tried getting a tighter dart fit with what I had lying around, but it was TO tight), so I doubt I'll have any lack of pressure.
I believe it has an over pressure valve, also captain xavier here on youtube loves these things. And cram it inside a barricade, it's been done, it works well.
I had an idea I know I’ve seen those shotgun mods on the drainblaster by adding a Nerf revolver cylinder and attach it to the drainblaster But I had an idea by adding special barrels to the cylinder to be able to shoot rival balls like a shotgun 👍🏻👍🏻
don't worry about the blaster breaking it's got a safety feature in it to stop you from over pumping that model can take a max of 10 pumps without the safety mechanism kicking in
I know captain xavier a new nerf channel on youtube has done tons of stuff with drain blasters so I would check him out and get in contact with him to go further with this project.
Outof Darts more referencing him because he makes them look amazing buy cutting a shell around it :) it would look amazing in an Apollo shell with the pump out the bottom :)
AeroProductions actually, he does have a rival module, he has a bunch of adapters for his drain blaster, he's trying to be able to fire any dart he might come across
Randomly looking at this video suddenly hearing "Skapern" and I thaught wtf thats me xD You should make it have less power each shot and maybe a magazine system too!
myan ormisbutt a hopup won't work that well with the nerf rival balls, they are to squishy and would just move over it either with no effect or slightly decreasing performance,
the atlas has no hop-up because it can interfere with the two rounds coming out. it makes one of them brush up against the other and reverse rotating eachother in the barrel. that can hurt your performance.
myan ormisbutt my atlas is modded to only fire one ball it was a simple small beam blocking clambering tube half way to prevent the second ball to enter the chamber
my burst wave gets well over 300 fps with only 12 pumps. 200 feet flat. burst waves are still for sale thru toysrus.com for $15. very nice looking blaster. well worth it. and I've done that rotating single barrel mod with it
If you want to see someone who's very deep into drain blaster R&D as well as implementation, Captain Xavier is your man: ua-cam.com/channels/hclNB2PTUqSwtcVmz5I7DQ.html
Beret I was about to link this exact thing.
Outof Darts whats the rival diameter tube
Captain Xavier has done a ton of stuff on that
can you give a breakdown of parts and how you built this
Artie All you need is a drain blaster and a tube for rival rounds.
A tube with around 0.9 inches of inner diameter should do it, but don't quote me on that
it won't break. I have one and there is an over pressure valve
Lord Wolfo How many pumps until the OPRV kicks in?
10-15 I think
Lord Wolfo I got mine to 30 pumps and over time the plunger head will where out and need replacing

Mister Nathan call up Ryan for Make test battle he is good with hpa systems
Josh Lowe He recently said that they're currently working on a more in-depth tutorial type video about HPA, so I kinda hate to bug him too much about it quite yet.
Wonder how this thing would do with Megas. Imagine a Rotofury with a drain blaster as the air source...
with the rotating tube idea for the blaster you could also rear load the other barrels
He say he is out of darts but then he shoots a loaded gun
No darts were displayed in this video. Kappa
His name is "Out of Darts" dumbass
Osmann it's a joke man
Full of BAWLZZZZ
He is out of DARTS not hirs
Thanks for the link - just ordered a couple. Would love to see your rotating barrel concept with the magnetic catch approach.
LUL that intro, ball falls out and you flinch so hard, I'm balling rn

all a sudden everybody is a plumber lol
and btw i have had up to 45 pumps in my shotgun Warning! don't ever go any higher than that. Hi Luke its been awhile. Just wonder what ID pipe did you yse for rival?
Thanks Andrew
RPG time? PVC + demolisher missile, or packed rival rounds to be "explosive"?? :D
Wilson you forgot the biggest and baddest of the bunch:
*The Titan AS-V1.*
I heard 20 pumps is the max from another youtuber.
What size tubing did you use? I made a version of that with 3/4 inch pvc. It shot about the same, but it could only fire 1 HIR at a time.
Komandr Nerf www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/122/1595/=15dq1pl
Reddit isn't the only thoughtful social media. Captain Xavier, polish Nerf and a few others did this a long time ago.
Cap's Eir can fire Rival, and his bazooka which uses a drain blaster can use all of those attachments.
5 pumps equals 10psi/.68bars, 10 is 20psi or 1.37bars, 15 is 25psi and 20 which is max number of pumps before over pressurizing is 32psi at 2.20bars
Well dang, now I want to put this under something as a literal "shotgun forgrip"
Check out captain Xavier he did a rotating barrel using a cyclone shock which should fit rival rounds.
I believe it has an over pressure valve, also captain xavier here on youtube loves these things. And cram it inside a barricade, it's been done, it works well.
Could you put a link as to where you got the tube for the rival round, please.

Put a slingfire stock and a foregrip with your turret idea
I had an idea
I know I’ve seen those shotgun mods on the drainblaster by adding a Nerf revolver cylinder and attach it to the drainblaster
But I had an idea by adding special barrels to the cylinder to be able to shoot rival balls like a shotgun 👍🏻👍🏻

Tim the Panda man the chrono test would seem to suggest 20 pumps produces a higher fps than 15 though
So.. how long do these really last? Cant find anyone mentioning it
Chaylo (Captain Xavier) on UA-cam is great with these.
I made a barricade shotgun using one of these, based off of captain xaviers! :D
you know what would be cool? a nite finder style pull back style... thing I guess that would rotate the 5-6 round cylinder for you.
what is the specs on the tubing you used?
Captain Xavier has made several absolvers for a drain blaster for various types of nerf ammunition.
Dang. That's a nice yard.
I know captain xavier a new nerf channel on youtube has done tons of stuff with drain blasters so I would check him out and get in contact with him to go further with this project.
What sized pipe did you use?
Outof Darts thanks :)
Outof Darts did you friction fit or glue the pipe?
Such a safety bathroom X)
jk
i don't think 20 pumps will break it because i think it has an OPRV or over pressure release valve
What sized tubing did you use for this?
captain xavier already has multiple videos of the drain blaster
the racr I second that :)
I second that! He'll give you some good ideas!
the racr None of the rival rounds in it though.
Outof Darts more referencing him because he makes them look amazing buy cutting a shell around it :) it would look amazing in an Apollo shell with the pump out the bottom :)
AeroProductions actually, he does have a rival module, he has a bunch of adapters for his drain blaster, he's trying to be able to fire any dart he might come across
where do you get your tubing?
Who thought it was a secret shot
Do NOT use it singled in a war. It could definitely hurt someone.
Outof Darts Yeah, the last thing you want to do is hurt a kid.
yea just ask my brother sirfazzbear
Lord RZRider I'm sure he knows that that's kind of a duh kind of statement
No sh*t sherlock, of coarse it will hurt.
Lord RZRider Dart Warz would probably let you.
Wasn't a turreted rival blaster just leaked by all of the Nerf channels
How do you pump it so many times
ok so the thing I think you should try is rival: •
mega: _
•+_+•
What if you attached two together for one barrel
Hmmm rival warhead or grenade?
What tube is that
caption Xavier has a full drain blaster load out
I wondered if you could make a rival absolver for this
Have u tried mega darts
Randomly looking at this video suddenly hearing "Skapern" and I thaught wtf thats me xD
You should make it have less power each shot and maybe a magazine system too!
i think they have adjustable oprvs, so it shouldn't break
captain xavier done this like a lot, he is using many kind nerf dart with drain blaster :)
put something like window screen in it and make the baral remove able then you can store them like magizens
TIP:
First shoot the gun in the intro, then say youre out of darts
can you fit this in centrion and make it fire hirs
I'm pretty sure it has a air release at least that's what I've heard on other channels
Spends 3 days bolting 3 Atlass together.... sees this 😥
So awesome
Great for a mario loadout
Use an apollo barrel, they have a hopup tab inside that helps range and accuracy.
myan ormisbutt a hopup won't work that well with the nerf rival balls, they are to squishy and would just move over it either with no effect or slightly decreasing performance,
Alex's Custom guns
actually, no. i have taken the hopup tab out of the zeus barrel and noticed significantly lesser performance.
myan ormisbutt the zues has a hop up? I didmt know that, I guess ill have to look into that for my suped up atlas
the atlas has no hop-up because it can interfere with the two rounds coming out. it makes one of them brush up against the other and reverse rotating eachother in the barrel. that can hurt your performance.
myan ormisbutt my atlas is modded to only fire one ball
it was a simple small beam blocking clambering tube half way to prevent the second ball to enter the chamber
Single it for elites and use Stefans, you’ll have a deadly weapon capable of breaking armor
Bay Area of Florida?
anarchy is waving at you
Dr-dra-drain blasters LOL yo you good mate? 0:10
i'd like some 3d printed styling kits!
You should check out Captain Xavier's channel, he does alot with these.
Daaaang, Blunderbuss gang.
There's a oprv
James Tepper it depends on what type you get mine doesn't because it's for industrial use
Hay if you are looking for a shell to put it in check out captain Xavier's firefly shotguns bild
don't worry you won't break it, believe it or not it does have an overpressure valve
Outof Darts yeah, I found out from Walcom's video
Im gonna try this but with hyper rounds
I might have to come back in a bit; I can only watch this in 1440p, which my tv doesn't support
if you used that with the dart chambering system from the atlas it would be combat effective
A UA-camr named captain Xavier uses these
my burst wave gets well over 300 fps with only 12 pumps. 200 feet flat. burst waves are still for sale thru toysrus.com for $15. very nice looking blaster. well worth it. and I've done that rotating single barrel mod with it
You won't break it it has an Over pressure release valve
Captain Xavier did the drainblaster stuff first, Chaylo (captain xavier) made a similar attachment, you only made the 11 shot variant.
Well you could use it singled in a war but don't pump it fully
rotating barrels would be cool
Chaylo did a bunch of these.
NVM just read the description
Also Chaylo and Captain Xavier are the same person so you don't need to link him twice.
to m this is the best one so far but try shooting marbles or blowdarts
You can ask Captain Xavier about this
I have been doing this for a very long while, mine was way bigger, 330 fps minimum, i used homemade hot glue darts tho
You can get a bigger drain blaster
build a drain blaster hurricane.
Instead of using one's lung power in a blow gun, we use this instead ...
The oprv kicks in at 25 pumps
Captain Xavier used a barricade shell
And a Firefly shell.
HELP! UA-cam won't let me watch it!
oh and second btw
Then how are you here?
youtube captain Xavier
They have opv s
Make a two shot sniper
imagine what this would do with a hyper round
thats just unfair at that point. 🤣🤣
But he has darts
Make a tutorial
5:08 lol
Need a case that looks like a shotgun, and "shotgun shells" i.e. slide-in, pop-out premade tubes with 5 or so Rival balls.
:D
Maybe too ambitious.
You could probably bring this to an airsoft fight.
I wouldn't know.
Hello
