Have you considered a muzzle setup that is several mount/attachment points for your Little Rocket barrels?
You could then switch out any of the barrels at will. (Though some of the bigger ones might protrude into neighboring barrel spaces.) I think that would be a bit slower to swap/reload, but would allow for even more modularity. (Not certain if that's a word, but it fits.)
I'm picturing using the inline clip barrels as shotguns. I've done this with the Little Rocket adapters mounted on an old Supermaxx 1500, though it is, of course, a lot lower-powered. With the additional punch you get from the Drain Blaster, it should work much better.
You could even make a Rival inline clip-type barrel, or a longer "regular" inline clip barrel for it. (Unless you already tried that and it didn't work.)

Looks like such a fun mod! And it's modular! Who wouldn't love that?

You might want to make a version of the coupler piece that allows for attachment to nerf rails. I see many people wanting to integrate this as an underslung shotgun on blasters. The rail attachment would just make doing that faster and easier.

just gotta say your mods and blasters are innovative designs of concepts people have been thinking of. Maybe I'm just uninformed, but still pretty cool.

I would love to see an attachment that has a hopper or RSCB as one of the barrels. That way you could have both long range and short range in one secondary.

Not bad at all! I am fairly sure that the drain blaster doesn't have an OPV, but a burst disk. A simple and useful mod is to replace the burst disk with a 1/4 inch fitting and then install a proper OPV. You can get PRV's off ebay anywhere from 20 to 140 PSI and then you can regulate how much power you want -R

For the barrel connection you could try some type of latch system that snaps around the side but still allows for rotation and removal.

As for slinging it on your back my impulse is to measure a strap out such that it is in a comfortable firing position first, then fold that strap until the blaster is affixed tightly to your body and then pulling it to rotate the blast to your back. This would require a two point sling, ideally fixed to the rear of the blaster and the front of the barrel. Thus, removing whatever you have fastening the fold of the strap immediately releases all the slack in the blaster which should drop it essentially behind you hips and allowing you to simply adjust the strap with your off hand to bring it within range of primary hand.

So here's a simple idea. Put a lip on the inside end of the barrel. And a guide tab on the top or bottom of the pump and a spring latch on the other side. Quick disconnect and still keeps it modular.

  • @theobserver493

Hey +Outof Darts, try using some proto-putty or sugru for a rubber seal.(proto putty can be quite messy and you have to make it yourself). If you want to, a foregrip might help stabilize the blaster and make it a little more like a shotgun.

have you not ever looked into using HPA to power a blaster? If you could come up with a blaster that uses the PolarStar airsoft fusion engine that would be killer. Give me an HPA semi auto blaster that uses rival rounds and using the fusion engine being able to have select fire would be amazing

When you say you found the smaller to be more powerful than the larger I would guess you have not come across the pango (largest tank, heavier gauge material, not burst disc or oprv, and a metal pump instead of plastic).

Rather than permanently attaching the cylinders you should put spring loaded lever retention clips on the left and right (or top and bottom) of the cylinder adapter. That way you could push cylinders into the adapter quickly, they'd mechanically lock on and you could remove them quickly by squeezing both levers.
(Similar to using a FROG CLIP.)
    ua-cam.com/video/LukSAGSmDlg/v-deo.html
Retaining the ability to change cylinders quickly would be super cool.
This is a real cool project.
