I'm also from Myanmar. We have our own traditional food and celebration. We have a different new year tradition 💐 we also have a traditional dish called moh hin gar. You can usually get it at some street restaurants 😁 a lot of people makes it at home 🏠

We are surrounded by india, thai and china so we have so similar dishes to those countries but still taste different. and what’s more, we also have our own unique dishes. I am now in uk and i have a lot friends from india, bangladesh and parkistan and we always talk on how out dishes are similar 😂

I am enjoying your travels... Teal Leaf Salad is known as LA-PHET - very well known restaurants in London. The Fish Sauce is NGA-PEE or Crushed Fish but mainly have prawns. Most Common Breakfast is MOANT - HINGAR (fish noodles) or OHN NOKE KAUK SWE (coconut noodles with chicken)

Wow. The image of the meals are so similira to what we have in Indonesia. The beef curry seems like Javanese style beef rendang (not the authentic Sumatran style beef rendang which is dry and has darker color), the morning glory seems like "cah kangkung" (water spinach cooked with garlic, salt, sugar and half boiled in water).

That small village is same like in the Philippines. and Chit's family is very accommodating, by the way, Chit is also good in boxing 😁. and the burmese foods are very interesting.
