While you are in Myanmar you should try steam and Unfried Spring rolls too . Even though they originated from China and Hong Kong a few hundreds years back, they have totally different taste compare to the rest of the world.

The first snack you tried was "bottle gourd" fritter and the vendor was selling chicken salad, not pork. The bug was fried cricket, and the girl was telling you the price, 5000, not the name of the food.

I dunno but I feel you were being ripped off the whole of the video as you didn't speak burmese language. I hope you will be notice my comment! You should behave a little good manner even you like it or not. First of all it is not a bug, it is a cricket not the same thing. Second of all they have so much protein to eat, no harmful for that and I've seen so much video of travel blogger (youtuber) like western people or asian people tried a new food from different countries and they showed and comments what they like or what they don't like freely but they never did like you sound as ''Ewww '' or saying out as a '' disgusting '', you are the one I've seen so far. Asian country eat those things as a light food not only in myanmar but the other country as well. Washed-rind cheese, like Époisses they have a really bad smell but you like to eat as a daily essential need, you don't feel disgust at all, right? Aside from us, we don't feel disgust we don't feel tasteless we pay worth price for that. You can judge whatever you want but it have to be meaningful .

We dont eat as much pork as Chinese and most of our dish resembles Parkistan and Malaysia cuisine which are very halal friendly countries :D
Most of our pork dishes are laden with fat so that our muslim friends can tell by the look. :)

There's a lot of Myanmar street foods in Chinatown. In the Philippines, when you come to Chinatown, you'll see more chinese foods.
