How were you approached for this scam? Who said you needed tockets first? 8 dollars. That sounds somewhere near the price for a return ticket on the Playa Bus but that bus will stop anywhere along the route if you wave and pay the driver. I bought tickets at the downtown bus station on the Malecon. But those tickets don't look like anything I've seen.

It was a legitimate looking place you bought from, with lots of equipment on display. The main red flag was that there weren't other people there to get tickets.

Yeah, that's why it was so confusing. We read online that you needed tickets, and the site said to buy it from that place. Of course, you never know till you get to the beach. Thanks for watching
