- The world famous Playa Balandra. It's touted (recognized) as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and many say in all of Mexico - but is the hype real? Join us in this video as we finally get to explore Playa Balandra. After seeing many beautiful beaches and stunning waters throughout our 2 week stay in La Paz and Los Cabos - we finally decided to go and explore this beach after many vlogs and tourist billboards said we had to go / a must do while in La Paz.
But was it worth the hype? By hype I mean getting up real early to secure our place in line to get into the beach but only being allowed to stay a few hours......is it really worth it?

Really enjoy your video, just wondering does the beach have showers to rinse off the salt water.
Thank you for the nice comment ! We have other La Paz videos as well. I can’t recall seeing any showers I will be honest - but there were bathrooms and I believe it did cost 5-10 pesos to use. Public bathrooms usually cost in Mexico. It’s a really nice beach !!

Cool. Is it safe to rent a car and drive around while there? Also how safe is it to drive from Cabo San Lucas to this beach?
Hi there. Thank you for commenting. We drove from La Paz to Cabo San Lucas and felt safe and the highway is very safe and no pot holes. As per drving from Cabo to this beach its quite far its about 2hrs and a half.
What is the charge for the restrooms?
Hi there. Didn’t use the restrooms but I’m guessing 5-10 pesos ( 30-50 cents USD)
