This video reminds me of why my wife and I stay in the desert in our VW camper far from tourist restaurants and Cabo crap . I miss the old Baja and the chicken buses .
Funny. When planning my drive down the Baja Peninsula I thought Loreto was a small Pueblo village. WRONG! It’s stunningly beautiful
Gracias por visitarnos 😁 Soy mexicano
Thank you for visiting us
I'm Mexican
What a different place since I visit it 24 years ago. After seeing your video I will plan my next trip to LORETO!
Such beautiful place!
Thank you so much !👏🏻💐
caught my attention when you mentioned ciudad constitution. I grew up going there every summer and spending time with my grandmother where she was a teacher.
Fun fact: Ciudad Constitución was the second largest city in BCS after La Paz, until the great boom of Los Cabos. Thousands of "comundeños" went to live in La Paz and Los Cabos.
Love ur videos 🥰❤️
Nice video!.
Visiting Loreto, surrounding towns, villages, the Parque Nacional Bahía de Loreto and islands, is an little known, but amazing experience!!!
Cheers!
Great video! I can’t wait to explore this area myself. Keep the videos coming! 😊
I was there recently and really like the city and surrounding area. My only beef is the stray dogs that seem to be everywhere, just like the rest of Mexico.
Nice video. My friend now lives in Loretto and has asked me to visit. I'm going.
Beautiful Loreto!
Thanks a bunch for your Loreto vidio.. It has really grown I to a city since I was last there in 1973. We will be there for a week during our journeys down Baja for three months in Jan. next year. Loreto had, and hopefully still has, some of the best fishing in the Gulf. Your ceviche restaurant sounds great. Enjoy your travels and keep up the great work on your videos.
Great video! Really nice to see this part of Mexico. You are filming in the same area as Greg and Hillary from The Kinetic Kennons. They are exploring BCS also. 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Thank you for taking us with you 🥰❤️
Hi, another great video. Thankyou and I enjoyed your detailed journey in and around Loretto.
The Peaceful Tranquility. Loreto, Baja California Sur is still relatively new on the tourism radar and even though it isn't the most popular destination in Mexico, it is a place where you can find the tranquility of only the most exclusive vacation destinations.
I spent 3 years working in Loreto in the middle 70's and not been there since, the place look totally different, it seem they have done a lot of work giving it a more friendly tourist look.
@@kenbuckley6666 No I worked at the Hotel manaagement business at the time, now that seem like in another life.
As Always Great Video Laura.
Good job love your view and experience!!!
As usual lovely.
Was amazing!!
Video💯🇲🇽💕
Great video. Thanks for sharing your experience. God bless your heart ❤️
Very well done and enjoyable, thanks.
I enjoyed Loreto. Nice to see it again.
Great video, Thanks
GREAT VIDEO !!!!!
That brewery looked cool..pizza was on point.....great vid
Great content!
Excellent video.
Great. Thank you.
Very nice 👍 Thank you.
Nice clip, I’ve done that very drive up from Cabo.Want to do it again, has an interesting vibe Loreto.
i love that place..
Hola,,tengo 16 años en cabo san lucas, pero cuando tomo vacaciones voy a loreto, ase 2 años fui a mazatlan, que dios te bendiga i disfruta este hermoso pais..
Great video. Very informative!
I noticed other of my favorite UA-cam'rs have visited Baja recently...Coreano Vlogs, Kinetic Kennons, Alan x el Mundo, Gabriel Traveler, William Taudien... It's very tempting to visit.
GREAT VIDEO ;)
That place is beautiful
Wow, Loreto has boomed since I was there one day off of a cruise ship back in 2001.
At Malecon I vowed I would remain living in Loreto forever.
Went to loreto30yrs ago Nopolo was just a small golft resort next to Loreto, it was under construction at the time. wish I could go back. if i am right. your spanish is very good. i think your chicana from California U.S.A
I would have enjoyed more footage of that olive tree! 🤯❤️ ty
If you guys want to treat yourselves have the pizza at La Mision Hotel Claudio the Chef is from Calabria Italy. He also makes pasta dishes, on Thursdays they have a band. Provecho!!! 🍻
I second that, he cooked for a rehearsal dinner and I was blown away by the food.
Thanks for the video. You didn't give your impressions of Loreto? Did you like it or.....? My wife and I love your post and look foward to them.
Thanks so very much for a great tour.
I'd like to visit there just to see the missions.
Where in the world are you standing at the end of the video? That looks like a house in the US.
Very nice video. Thank you. We will be in the area 4th of July weekend, do you know if the church in San Javier is open?
❤ Loreto, Last time was in 1986, 😅
Ciudad Constitucion, My hometown!!!!
Great video of Loreto! I enjoy all ur videos- is San Jose Del Cabo still ur fav place in BCS?
Hi there just wondering if you could help me as i can’t seem to find this information online. Which states in Mexico mandate face masks in the streets ? I’m travelling to Mexico end of July .. thank you
I've wondered what it's like in Loreto, so thank you for this. I would have liked to have seen more of the beaches in Loreto, or were they disappointing like that first one you did show in the video with the dusty sand?
Yea they pretty much all look like that sort of dusty sand. I’ll show the island beaches in the next video which are MUCH better and so beautiful ☺️
@@andrewmarinkovich8657 Hi , I think this is not a god video, we were there last summer , exactly in that beach " Nopolo" we have so much fun , the kids love it. and we love to too , look like a gigantic pool, look for another videos :)
@@dmar21s Look for another video? Perhaps you can ⓟⓞⓢⓣ your own video so we could see what your experience was. It took Laura Bronner time & work to edit her video and share with us. Something she didnt have to do. So I appreciate her video ᴀɴᴅ I can look for other channel videos to try and get the whole picture. Es muy facil criticar verdad? Aver, donde esta su video?
My daughter is visiting next week. Please tell me, is this a safe area?
Did you fly to Los cabos and then did you rent a car?
Out of curiosity how do you handle medical insurance. My wife and I have been trying to travel for awhile with kids as US citizens but the insurance issue has been hard to overcome. Any info would be amazing, thanks!
There's always room:) What was that dessert, it looked good..some kind of Flan?
Is June a good time to visit Baja Calif Sur? How's the weather like? Is it going to be too hot?
Ill be going in 2 weeks and it will be hot around high 80s and low 90s.
Are you from the east coast?
I fly to Loreto in just a few days! What were the Covid-related expectations of the locals and businesses while you were there? Very strict or not at all?
My daughter is planningon going alone to visit a friend. Im so nervous!!! Was it safe???
@@rebeccacastellano4414 Now that I have been, I'll answer my own question first and then yours.
The Covid restrictions varied greatly depending on the establishment. In Nopolo, it was very lax, and we rarely had to wear masks. In Loreto proper, we wore masks more often, but it is similar to stateside here where you just have to wear it to your seating then you can remove your face covering.
Safety: Like all towns and cities of similar size in America, there are good parts and bad parts of Loreto. We went to the downtown and boardwalk areas after dark a couple times and I never had a feeling that we were "unsafe", not that I am particularly sensitive that. I do not know how old your daughter is, but as long as she makes sensible, responsible decisions, she will be fine.
What she does need to watch out for is getting scammed at the car rental agencies at the airport, and the timeshare hawks.
Also I highly recommend doing the trip to Isla Coronado depicted in this video. We saw a bajillion dolphins, a handful of giant manta rays, a sea turtle, and 5 or 6 Orca whales. It was very cool.
For 3-4 day weekend trip which place(s) do you recommend on the Baja of California?
such a tough call! Depends what you're looking to do - I still think some of the best beaches are around San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas (Santa Maria, Chileno, Palmilla to name a few). If you want to go hiking the best we enjoyed was in and around Todos Santos. If you want to go fishing, Loreto seemed to be one of the best places for that and as an added bonus you can head to isla Coronado for a day trip and see dolphins and then spend a day up in Bahia Concepcion.
@@laura-bronner Thanks..You are living a life ppl envy....where would u go in mexico-- for a 3-4 day vacation? I'm flying from the US
what is the name of the hotel you stayed in ventanna ...each room was from diffrent place in decor?
OK, you made comments about the beach front in Nopolo as not being to your liking, but you never said anything about the Loreto beach front, beside showing the walk area and boat docks, where was the beach to layout and snorkel or swim???
BTW: The beaches at Nopolo are so clear that you can see your feet and see the colorful fish near the rocks of the end of the bay ... its so nice there...and we hike over the bridge and above the golf course in the hills. Next time stay in Nopolo. didn't
In Latín America.
I'll be in Cabo in a couple weeks! We should meet up. How married are you?
Hello again Compadres Laura and I Fell in Luv with Lorreto and I will miss you When you Leave Mexico but I will Still Take the Memories with me Forever. Aka CharlieB outta Dobbs Ferry N.Y. A Long WAVE away but I can Dream of Paradise with ya🍉🍒🎈YaAllStaySafe🍓
You must have drank a lot of the shitty exspensive lukewarm beers in that little American tourists trap.
Go to Da Princess Cosmeticos Y Belleza next door is the most amazing place to eat breakfast in Loreto hands down. They open at 9 am and close when they sell out of ingredients.
Good pronunciation except for La Paz (not paaz)
Yes, the "a" rhymes with taco, enchilada, Paco. I figured out that once you learn the vowels, then you can pretty much figure out how to pronounce most Spanish words.
I’ve been to many of the places in your videos but never loreto
I highly recommend a trip next time you're in Baja! It's a decent road trip from La Paz, but worth a couple of days with a trip up to Mulege while you're there too.
@@laura-bronner Spent a few days in Mulege during one of my many trips through Baja. Enjoying your series. Brings back TONS of memories....
Water is so easy to pronounce
Did you get the "best smile" award in your high school yearbook ??
:)
Nothing
The nefarious "Kinetic Kennons" seem to also be in Loreto now making UA-cam videos. Be vigilant.
@@ikemartyn9688 If I were serious I wouldn’t use an old timey word like nefarious to describe them and I wouldn’t put their names in quotes.
April 2023 update on El Zopilote brewery: We found the service and quality to be very sub par. The service staff looked bored and uninterested. The beer was barely cold, and as a tip, if your margaritas take less than 30 seconds to make, it's not going to be a good experience. Their Italian pizza was bland, limp and uninteresting. Do not recommend.
you sound like a a girl who's trying not to like it but can't help yourself but like it. what are comments like " this is the best best pizza i've had this side of the sea of cortez? is pizza known to be4 better on the other side of the sea of cortez?...
Home sick for there
Terrible mu sic is distracting
thumb down. show more than your face!
I hate watching people talk. Just show us the scenery
I like your style of narrating over the video. You're more of a videographer than most. Solid information including menu shots which convey prices very quickly with a pause of the video 🌵
