Mexico, in my humble opinion is one of the most underrated countries in the world. The media only talks about the bad aspects, when there are tons of great places to visit, great people from there, and great food to eat.
I don’t think Mexico is underrated. In spite of the social issues it’s is really popular. On the other hand, I think it has some underrated places that deserve the same popularity as Tulum or Cancún
If the safety of the visitors is at question then it’s not underrated. You have to be realistic about that and know where not to go so that you make it back to where you came from.
Just truly gorgeous❗️I could almost feel what it would be like to walk through those crystal clear waters with the warm desert breeze dancing across my skin. So glad the area is a Protected Natural Heritage Site. And to think, I nearly missed viewing this video b/c from the thumbnail I thought it was a resort. 🙏🏼 Thank you🙏🏼
Used to go and zero people a day lol. No paved road in the 1960's. I wrote a story about it when a lot of people would go during Easter vacation. Just imagine what it was like! It was even more crystal clear! Pristine! I am blessed to have had the privilege of growing up in La Paz.
We have walked in the same footsteps at Balandra. It is burned into our memories and our souls. When we left Balandra and went to Tecolote, we stopped at a pickup truck at the “y” road and bought mango in a cup. The most incredible mango we have ever had! Such wonderful memories. Thank you both for taking us back there. One of very few vlogs we have seen that do this amazing place any justice. If you are still in the La Paz area (which I guess you won’t be at this point) you MUST go to Tacos Estadio for the best fish tacos in all of BCS (in our opinion!). You two are great. Safe travels and much love from Ottawa 🇨🇦
"Burned into our memories and our souls" how beautifully said. I hope to create such memories. I'll be visiting for the first time in August and planning to stay a month. Booked a one way ticket this time . Cheers from another fellow Ottawan! 😊
The Taco Kawaii yes, I'm fully vaccinated with both Pfeizer doses so not a problem. I have a one way ticket so planning on staying in Mexico until January and by then I hope Canada 's returning travel restrictions will be lifted! I hope! ☺️
WooooW that is the most beautiful place in the world. I wish to visit some day. Thank You lovely couple for sharing some awesome experiences specially from Mexico. All the best xxx
Lol, in Brazil this beach probably would not even be known. Tons of better beaches like Pipa, Jericoacoara, Fernando de Noronha, lençóis maranhenses etc etc
Balandra beach is so picturesque. You delivered a brilliant presentation of the beach and surroundings. Thank you also to the absolutely stunning Carole, oh! So gorgeous in the black bikini for her contribution. You guys rock. Thank you 😘
That beach is so beautiful! Probobly one of the most beautiful beach i've ever seen! Super white and soft sand, blue waters and the mountains in the back are beautiful also. I've never seen that kind of beach here in my country (philippines)! I think, all beaches that you and carol been in mexico have that kind of sand! Super white sand! Unlike the islands you have visited here in the philippines that have more corals than white sand. In your videos here in the philippines, the beaches you went to are not like that in mexico which is super white sand because the sand of the islands or beaches you went here is more yelllowish. That's one of the things I noticed in your vlog in the Philippines and Mexico! Sorry if my english is wrong 😊
Spectacular! This beach is serenity and beauty at its best! Kudos to the authorities that limit the number of people that can visit. They are protecting a treasure. Another travel vlog that is out of this world Chris and Carole :) Thanks and be blessed.
What a stunningly beautiful place - a gorgeous, uncrowded beach next to a desert landscape. Your camera really brings out the stunning colors and details. Definitely going on the bucket list. Kudos to you and Carol for making it up and down those mountains with flip flops!
We tend forget that the beaches and nature all together needed a break from the people as well to rejuvenate itself. I’m sure it’s still as beautiful if not more beautiful then the last time you two visited. It looks amazing, Great stuff!!!
I’m loss for words. This is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen! Thank you for showing it to us. You camera is super clear compared to other videos that I see on UA-cam! I absolutely love this one! ❤️
Hola !!!! Estoy muy emocionada!! Conoci la playa de la Malandra!!! (Esta en la Paz Baja California) wooow!!! Quede fascinada !! Está hermosa es una playa única!! Amo mi país MÉXICO!!!
I've been visiting this beach for many years. At 13 years old, my family and I swam the entire way you walked. It was absolutely amazing. We also took a raft to the beaches across the bay. There's a huge sand hill that we would run up and throw our selves off the top. Sooo fun!
México has tons and tons of beautiful beaches, there is a place named San Carlos Bay in the same gulf of California, I have no words to tell you the paradise is in about 800 miles, islands, beaches, etc. I think México should promote all that. Look at this link in the pacific side of México. ua-cam.com/video/L0zuKcUYM28/v-deo.html
Awesome beautiful place, playa Balandra, La Paz. The early morning drive is sure worth it. Thanks for a wonderful tour of that place. Have fun and enjoy that beautiful beach. Awesome aerial scenery...
Great video! We rented a Jeep in San Jose Del Cabo and drove around the east cape to Cabo Pulmo. It was wild, so many untouched empty beaches and awesome mountains. We plan to visit La Paz at some point to visit Playa Balandra.
Yes, quite beautiful. We spent a few hours there. I can't wait to go back in the camper and kayaks. There was free camping on the beach just down the road.
I Lived in La Paz for ten years, I think we went to these beaches every other week but at Playa Tecalote which is just one more beach south. It's a place where you can truly forget everyday hassles of life. We didnt have covid in 2006 but we actually had less people there then. The crime and everyday hustlers for money in the city forced me to leave, but as a tourist here at the beaches you wont notice anything disturbing, its a dream place for sure.
been to Baja many times but never really got outside the tourist track of Cabo proper, thanks for pointing all this out, next time I would love to check it out...
This is a bucket list beach. Mind blowing! Insane for Mexico.... It must be really hard for you two to leave after experience such beauty... I know it would be for me and my wife.
Beautiful video, Chris and Carol! That is one beautiful beach. I travelled all over Mexico and was impressed with Baja's natural beauty and feeling of calm, peace and space. You have captured this very well. xx
All Your videos are great and the Best Part is.... your English Accent... It's Perfect... because videos from Latin America / Mexico etc. not easy to found with good English voice.
Aloha hey I’m up what are you subscribers and I’ve been watching to both of you since you were in the Philippines I think maybe you guys were there during lockdown over there on quarantine or something where anyways I’ve been watching you guys are using staying in and I love your videos and everything I’m fixing to go to Mexico myself I’m just trying to get a idea where people go to and everything so I love your videos so keep up the good work Mahalo
Amazing, amazing and beautiful beach! Your videos and video editing are BE ON professional. Thank you for your wonderful videos. Because of you guys I will be traveling to Mexico to explore that beautiful country. This video brought tears to my eyes I never believed a place so beautiful existed on this earth. Esta playa debe ser una de las mejores del planeta ojalá fotografiar algún día este lugar. En Brasil hay lugares así como sacados de un cuento. Saludos desde Colombia visit tayrona national park !!
Sad to see you leave such a beautiful area. The contrasts of color and environments is breathtaking. On one hand you have cacti on a backdrop of brown rock and the other you have the varying shades of azul waters. Just taking it all in is a treat for me to watch. Recent subscriber and giving you my first comment. Wishing you many safe journeys as I am sure to check into anything new.
Wow, you've given me a great idea to go back to Lapaz. I have only been once to see the whale sharks. It was a tour we took from Cabo San Lucas for the day. Didn't realize such beauty is hidden in that area! Thank you for the beautiful video!
Absolutely amazing! I did the sea lion snorkeling excursion and we went by in a boat, but so much better to see it from land. I need to plan a trip back!
Many of the beaches in Baja California Sur, they remind me of Egypt's North Coast. And even some resort towns on the Red Sea, like Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab.
