Totally agree with BMW's oil change interval is much too long...as you suggest, I have an oil change done 1/2 way between the BMW specified changes. I would never take a vehicle, let alone our x3 M40i, to a quick change/"Jiffy Lube" establishment. Do not want amateurs touching it. Fortunate to have a trusted dealer who takes my FCP Euro Liqui Moly 0w20 oil change kit and does the oil changes without resetting the CBS so I retain my 3 BMW paid oil changes.

Love the laid back, smoothness of ur review. I definitely would have loved a more detailed description of the b58 engine's reliability. As it has been quoted as being BMW's best inline six ever. Maybe u'll give a review on the engine alone but great job overall and plz keep up the great work 👍👍👍. Will start follow...

Do not take this vehicle to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. At least take it to a shop that specializes in these cars. It's not worth the gamble after spending $70,000. Love the channel.
Great review! Have one on order in Tanzanite Blue..question about it-can you use Sport-Indvidual mode (with all settings at "Comfort") to disable the Auto Stop/Start System? My wife prefers comfort but we both dislike that Auto Stop Start and can't seem to get a definitive answer!
It’s a good motor, but at that price point there are really nice alternatives with far more powerful engines. This M40i is the best in its price point but I wouldn’t say the same about the 30i 👍🏼
I’ve own this car for over a year. It’s excellent, very fast and luxurious. The only issue that I have is the seats do not have good side bolsters. And they don’t allow you to get the power side bolsters. When you’re flying around corners in this X3, which you will do because it has almost 400 hp, you will say why didn’t they put bolsters?
His POV drive isn't my favorite anymore. I prefer the way he did it in the past but I understand why he has that odd angle and field of view - gotta hide that speedometer!
This was just too short of a suction cup bracket, I didn’t realize how short it was until I started editing but I have a new one for all future reviews! 👍🏼
Also wondering about the sound system which was glossed over. This looks and drives great but I know with certainty that the Audi equivalents can be had with amazing Bang &Olufsen sound.
Had a ‘24 and got rid off it as soon as I could. The ride is bouncy and unsettling even with the adaptive suspension and the wind noise above 50mph is the worst of any premium suv. Stay away from this crap.

Yes it's firmer than the normal X3 but got good handling
beautiful spec!
Another point why we went with the x3 over the x4 was the ride. We were shocked how much smoother the x3 ride was.

I believe they do if you upgrade to leather. The side bolsters were deleted on lower optioned vehicles due to Covid-related supply shortages.
I have leather and they didn’t come with them.

CX5 and X3m40 are polar opposites. X3M40 is 10 leagues above Mazda is driving, comfort, performance, speed, etc.
