Hi Steven, what a great but simple trick. I had not seen this method before, but I will use it for other tricks. Great presentation as usual. All the best TOB.
Very pretty trick and very well done. One suggestion I would offer for glimpsing the top card in the version where the spectator shuffles, is to casually spread the cards face up in the hands after they have shuffled, thumbing cards over rapidly, and saying something like, "You have shuffled these cards yourself, so obviously they are well mixed." In that manner, you can keep spreading until the index of the top card is visible and then proceed from there to get it reversed second from the bottom. This eliminates an unjustified move that could be detected.
May be a braue reversal could help after the spectator shuffle, to reverse the card. It's an easy sleight that can be done openly. Don't even have to take a peak as the card you will reverse is the first of your face up deck. Nice trick anyway. Thank you.
Haha lol 😂😂 you deserve all the audience you are getting mate and may many more come by you! I really enjoy your sense of humour and seeing your video today cheered me up a lot as I've got covid and been really ill with it again. 😢😢 haha take the missus out and re-set it made me laugh! As always thank you for all your time effort and comedy too sometimes Steven. From your friend carl 🙂❤️🙏🌍
A little whooo. It is your relaxed with contagious smile and giggles and quality ready to learn and use effects that makes your channel to continue to grow keep up the good content and nobody will want to leave well done
Hey Steven new to your page, long time walk about magician & I enjoy your content and I’ve actually added a couple variations of your stuff to my collection- Cheers, Dave Rekless
They are Asi Wind's Inner Circle Playing Cards. They come in blue, red, or black back versions, and are available from Tannen's Magic for $18 per deck. IMO, the red backed ones are even prettier than the blue ones.
Its good to give credit if your going to show routines. I believe this is Nick Trost - Bi-Polar / North Pole routine. Someone correct me if im wrong i dont remember the exact name but i do remember this was one of Nick Trost's routines
So, I haven't gone to your explanation yet, but I notice things and look for things. You placed their card between the 4 of clubs and queen of Diamonds, but when you spread them, the flipped card is between the 4 of spades and Jack of diamonds. So, in a one on one, I would have called you out, but in a crowd, I would not. So now I will continue and see what is up. I'm the worst to do card tricks for because I'm always gonna say, can I shuffle them...... I suck. Let's see how you did it. Yeah, I'd still have to do the first version, I don't do fancy things with my hands. I don't even want to learn, although I understand the technique, you see, I only do tricks that anyone can do, I call it simpleton magic, because most people can't do the fancy handwork. I only know 3 tricks anyway. Good enough I guess, I really do enjoy watching and learning your magic.
Love all your teachings,
Great to see you, Steve! Thank you for stellar material.

Hello Steven, may I ask where you bought your card mat?
Excellent
Nice! Do you have any credits for this one?
Great trick. Always enjoy the teaching. Spectator shuffling is not really necessary or that trick in my opinion.

What’s the name of that last move? I use it in my Impromptu Connected Cards. :)
Hi Steven, great video. I sent you an email with a really good card trick. Would love you to share it on your channel.
I’ll check it out 👌🏽
That in the dream book
There is something that reminds me of Chris Ramsay in the place you're in.
Hey man, you must do something right 👍.
Keep good stuff coming.

Cool i managed the first part
😌👍👍👍👍😌😀😀
Very nice... though doesn't look like a self working card trick... at all.
'Accidently' dropping a card means you can place it straight under the upturned card and negate the need to do the double undercut
