How the heck the B string sounds that huge and tight being a 32" 😮 is amazing. Is one of the biggest ferocious B string sound I've ever listen to.
That might be the best intro song of any video you've ever done, that was great!
Looks a LOT like a BC Rich Wave bass.. sounds awesome!!!
I'm not really a boutique bass guy but this one is ticking all the boxes: practicality in a beautiful package. I love it ;-)
Damn yes!
The style from the body and headstock is gorgous!
One of the rare basses where it doesn't matter to me, that the headstock isn't matched in color
Kai is the new king of BassFace.
Holy smokes. That might be the best sounding bass I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot.
Rofl!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaa....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@-Harris- can I help you?
Wow!!! Sounds incredible!!!
I did the math, that would be 11.023 freedom strings
Yes, I just had to put a string retainer bar on a short-scale bass after having odd buzzing at the nut on the open A-string, it wasn’t the nut, it was the string angle being awful. Plus I felt the disc retainer on the D and G was too far away from the nut to be useful. The bar solved all the problems.
I actually really dig this bass! I luv the string through body option, I’m a sucker for that, and it has a nice preamp options
Unfortunately I’ve tryied a couple and….both were amazing…. When Gregor said” it sounds like it was played for years but it’s out of the box” is what I felt … the feeling to the player makes the real difference
I loved the tone. Thing is alive.
Stunning price tag too,no doubt.
Brilliant! and I award them 1,010% for NOT making another P-Bass knockoff
The Dali P-Bass. Personally, I think it's a step backwards from the classic design.
Why only 1% and change? /s (comma is the decimal separator in Europe 🙂)
@@mrpositronia Sorry I am BORED with 1953 = LET it DIE already
Great sounding bass! Might need to get me one....
And btw....Bass Buddha is THE place for your bass needs!
Can't go wrong with this bass !!!
Ibanez has a great 32" scale "mezzo" bass for i think under 500
Me too 😊😊😊
What a rich sound
Although this bass looks and sounds great, within 5 minutes of the video my eyes were searching for that black vintage Stingray on the side 😍
Aarhus is pronounced with the same first vowel sound as in “alright” or “awesome”.
In the Bacci Website they say it has 34" scale but IT looks shortscale to me.
Very nice! Hey Gregor, I was wondering if any of you have tried DR's "Dragon Skin" coated strings yet? 5 strings to rule them all!
We’re talking, but I haven’t received strings yet
The luthier must have done 1 or 2 things right when people like Michael League, Matteo Mancuso and Mark Lettieri play instruments of him...
I'm friends with Bruno, visited his workshop in Tuscany last October and even got to do a little Luthiery there. He is one of the most passionate and knowledgeable guys you'll ever find about instrument making. I've also played this model of Bass there, and the Amrita Bass. As a Bassist - both are wonderful to play.
I know this is not a true comparison but just over my speakers, that bass sounds really close to my vintage Jazz. Would you say that's a good comparison?
It has similar qualities for sure, but the timbre is probably of a different kind
That bridge is hawt
Freedom Kilos, nice :P
I can feel a bass face off coming... 😂
Freedom kilos 😂
A 32" scale with a low B string? Very unusual.
Not anymore. Many boutique brands do this. You don’t really see affordable basses in this configuration because the strength of the b string tends to be a bit of a gamble with 32”
It could take a while to get used to this design 😮😮😮😮
Ha ha ha! Deceivingly delicate looks but beefy, monster tone!!
i don't like the pointy bit of the body. the colour is nice as is the sound. every active bass should have these control knobs.
I first heard "Budget" Bass, not Bacci Bass. It kinda turned me off. 😂
I'd give that boutique bass the boot
5-string, 32" scale basses look funny on big people like Kai or myself. 😅
Like standard basses look huge on small people like me
So, you are huge. Who cares?
€5,000....😢
More like 5600€ .... :-)
Do you have a German language channel?
Nope
Amazingly fat and crunchy. Makes me rethink Nordstrands which have been kinda underwhelming to me on many production basses.
Pickups can elevate a bass, but at the end they’re just the messenger. If the bass is mediocre, pickups won’t make it a masterpiece
Where's your dad?
With my mum
Why 99% of bassists should practice instead of buying 1000$ basses.
I've been playing bass 37ish years now? Just bought a Dingwall. That bass has brought to my attention technique flaws I never knew I had. My muting is apparently ASS. This bass makes weird noises if I look at it from across the room.
So yes, you are correct. AND, sometimes it takes those high end basses to even hear your most subtle of mistakes.
Bro? A $1000 bass is decently priced though. In fact I'll argue a bass $600-$2000 is all you need. Avoid anything cheaper than this. If you buy from these price range, it's already good enough.
You do know that you can practice and buy new instruments at the same time right? It's practicing every day that makes you want to try new basses or get nicer ones because it's a big part of your life.
I used to say that, but nowadays, its more like $2,000. If you can't afford one of those, a good preamp pedal can help out a lot.
@@TheMemo659 I have a couple basses that are pretty ringy. You can tone it down by putting a mute at the nut and/or just turning the mids and highs down and boosting the bass (if you can).
Sounds like every other PJ with Nordstrand pickups. The electronics are the entirety of the sound in an electric instrument.
If someone wants to blow a bunch of money of this, cool. I don't see a reason to pay a premium for painted wood with a stick of figured wood stuck on it.
The freedom kilos bit is getting tired.
You sound fun
It is ugly and it doesn't sound better than a good PJ precision or some other PJ bass with active electronics. Foderas and most of boutiqe basses are for rich snobs.
