      You learn to dig gold by doing,,you can read or watch all the vids you want,,gold is where you find it,,ive had many vids and miners tell me the gold lays in a certain way in the rivers,,my 40 years expieriance doing ,and i still find my gold where everyone says its not,yes these are good ideas but dont stop there,,many many times ive walked into someones weekend digs and find that those that dug it quit right before they hit good gold,i allways prospect the new digs i find,,more times than not they quit before finding what they were after

      sounds like me at the crater of diamonds in Arkansas. all the old-timers wouldn’t touch some gravel layers I found 6 feet down, because it didn’t contain diamonds!! so they say.....
      I found several diamonds in it. one was a .33 white bluish! Dig where your gut tells you to dig is what I’ve learned!
      However learning the indicators will just increase Your Odds, weather gold, diamonds, quartz, toothpaste at Walmart lol

    When you’re out test panning, how much gold do you need to see to keep on working that spot?

    • @ChrisRalph
      @ChrisRalph  5 років тому

      Depends on various factors, especially where the pan was taken. A few specs is not enough to keep me interested. Its hard to express what is to me "decent color" in terms that I can explain on the internet. Maybe at least a few hundredths of a gram? I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

    Does your book discuss geological areas for prospecting or do you simply need to research ie mining books, maps. Especially for Nevada. This might be an unanswerable question or I need a bong hit

    • @ChrisRalph
      @ChrisRalph  4 роки тому

      Its not a book with a bunch of maps with big X marks on it telling you that there is gold there. Gold is worth a lot of money and people dont leave known gold in the ground to give away. Gold is expensive because its rare and hard to find. The book is intended to teach you the skills you need to find your own gold for yourself.

    Hi Chris i love watching your video's . I live in california and have searched on and off a good part of my life. With limited success. Although i jave not found the mother load or maybe i have but lack the resources required to extract the gold but in any case i have aquired a lot of knowledge. The past several years i have become extremely interested in remote sensing technology. But have as yet been able to master the required intelligence to have put its potential to any use for my own search for the metal. Any way i apologize for rambling on so this is the question i want to ask you . I recently have found someone on line who is selling glasses that he claims can locate gold . I had my doubts but the more i read about the technology the more interested i become . He says that you get the signal that gold in decent quanity is present by the color as seen through the glasses of the plants grass and trees directly above the gold . Im not sure how this works but possibly its using the photosynthesis plants use maybe an ion or electron i dont know but i would like to know your thoughts in this claim . They cost around 500.00 bucks and are made by sony. Thank you.
