  • Haven't posted for a bit because work has been busy. Join me for a quick play through this fun movement! It features more in the way of rhythmic changes than Bach's cello suite movements usually do, with semiquavers, triplets, and quavers all finding their way in there.

Is it possible to send .midi into that synth from a keyboard with more keys on it? I think basic keyboards that output only quantized and clocked .midi can be really cheap-ish. I think some people use them in combination with software synths and DAWs.
Something about not being able to play more octaves with 2 hands just seems like a limitation worth going beyond, especially when the actual synth does sound kinda awesome.
Or I guess you could just play 2 of them lol. Or that + another synth

Yeah, you sure can! But these cello suites so far suit the compass of the Sub37 well and I haven’t had to. (The sixth one will be another matter.) There will still be the polyphony limitation in any case. Thanks for listening!

      Thanks! That’s the 8’ + 4’ oscillator combo at work, I think.
