What type of lift wheels and tires on the white truck on the freeway
Sorry for the late response, we've been swamped with comments and haven't had a chance to get to all of them. That one's on Kings 3.5" lift and 35's. It was a test and temporary setup. Not something we would recommend unless a lot more work were to be done such as re-gearing, aftermarket bumper, and a lot of cutting.
@@88ROTORS was that a drop bracket lift? Or coil over with add a leaf?

It seems like you guys were able to fit 285's on just about every Taco you guys worked on in this vid, I'm wondering did you have to do the cab mount chop on all in order to fit 285's? 1 truck you specifically stayed it had the cab mount chop. Thanks!

Love your work thank you for sharing. I have a 2023 Taco v6 4x4 SR5 can you guys install a leveling kit 2 inch front and 1 inch rear plus what will the biggest tires I can put on with keeping the original 16 inch rims?
If this configuration it doesn’t sound/work correct plus let me know what works.

Sorry for the late response, we've been swamped with comments and haven't had a chance to get to all of them. The end result of that setup to do it correctly was about $12,000 due to regearing and aftermarket bumpers afterwards to clear that tire size properly. You can spend about half of that for 33's.
Can I do a 2 inch lift in front and 1 inch in rear and be able to clear 285/70/17 without rubbing or having to do a body mount chop?
What’s the gas milage after putting on a 3 inch lift and adding 33 inch tires ? Do you recommend re-gearing ??
i have 31's on 2" lift with a flowmaster and I'm sadly running 11-12mpg city
I run 285 75 17 with 5.29 gears and get 21 MPG HWY it's drops a few if I'm towing the track loader

Hi , i’ll receive my 2020 OFF-ROAD Quicksand this week. I’ll be throwing 16 inch TRD PRO gloss black wheels 16x7 +13 with a 3inch front 2 inch back lift /leveling kit from Readylift and i can’t decide what tire size to run. I want something to fill up nicely the gap without being « too big » and affect the driving quality.
I’ve been thinking about 275/70/16 wonder if any of you guys has that set up.

I had a 3'' lift put on my 2017 Tacoma and it visually looks like I have to much positive camber...Yet everyone says its within spec ???It really bugs me. How are you getting the positive camber out of all these trucks ? Is there a trick or something ? I cant get to Cali but I damn sure wish you could work on mine. Im not to happy right now
Without upper control arms, that’s what it will be. These trucks run well with about 1 degree of positive camber. Too bad you’re not local. Good luck over there!

dude you have to cut the crossmember for a lift that big a big big mistake
@@DeepSnowRider lol yeah I know that now, I’ve had a readylift 6 inch on it for almost 2 years. Crossmembers fine, some people are just terrified of cutting their trucks
@@Jmm623 cause it voids the warranty and you grossly cut down the amount of people who would be interested in buying your truck in the used market. 6" tacoma lifts are mall crawler lifts for looks and playing the part
@@DeepSnowRider warranty only gets voided if they can directly relate the issue to your modifications. I do mild offroading that isn't negatively effected by the extra height, and you can't change my mind on the fact that it looks a hell of a lot better with the bigger lift
@@Jmm623 sure it looks great but that's a mall crawler mentality of looks vs real world results.
are you gonna get anywhere a 3" lift can't get to? Maybe but at that point it's more about driver skills than an extra couple inches of lift.
modifying the frame just sounds like a big jump to me, for sure it looks great and im not a automobile structural mechanic and from what I read the new crossmember is actually stronger than what you are removing.
if I had something in writing from Toyota I could accept I would move forward with it for sure.
If I had some data on its affect on used tacoma sale prices if any that would be interesting. maybe such a lift would have a quicker sale due to the small amount of Tacomas having this size modification.

Hey guys. I'm ordering a new 2020 Tacoma TRD long bed soon. What are your recommendations for the largest tire wheel combo WITHOUT cutting and welding. I'm looking at using a Toyo MT tire along with a Black Rhino wheel under a 4" BDS lift .Much respect for your knowledge.

i want to fit 35's BFG KO2 tires on my 2019 tacoma SB...what will i need to modify to fit them size tires? I eventually will re-gear, have a full size spare tire, bed rack, rooftop tent, and heavy duty steel bumpers. would a 3inch lift be enough?

With the 2020 trd off road, there is a camera in the front grill. What would you do if you want to install a Trd pro grill? What can you do about the camera?
I like the looks of it but when I drove my friends lifted truck it feels like it has no power after the lift. I driven it when it was still stock also.

I saw a Tacoma with the 285/70 17 and stock upper control arms. I’m sure this would require a 3” lift in the front. Why would someone keep the stock upper control arms and not install an aftermarket UCA to properly align ?
Because they’re being cheap or they’ll be returning later for them or getting elsewhere. Who knows. Just know for yourself that you need upgraded ones.
