Lithium was the go to drug for HIS generation. It is only used now moderately as a last resort or severe protracted case. Bc of side effects. There are way more updated first line drugs and therapies for someone Mica's age. On average it also takes years and several misdiagnoses to arrive at bipolar. Anti depressants can create false "mania" He's full of crap. He doesn't have it either. All his symptoms can be explained by personality disorders. Which don't respond much to meds. Which is why he's still awful. Is he still preaching at his church though?? Those people have zero discernment if so
Here's the thing... this dude is so wrong on many different levels.
Lithium dosage: The minimum therapeutic dosage of lithium typically ranges from 600 mg to 1200 mg daily, taken in divided doses. It's important to note that the exact dosage must be individualized according to serum levels and the response to treatment. For acute control of mania, the dosage may start at 1800 mg/day, with regular release formulations taken 600 mg orally 2 to 3 times a day or extended release formulations at 900 mg orally 2 times a day. For long-term control, the dosage may be adjusted to 900 to 1200 mg/day.
So what he is saying about his lithium dosage is very common, if he is speaking of his total daily dosage, which I believe he is. If he is talking about a single dosage... multiple times a day... woah! Medications/chemicals are not created equal. Dosages vary greatly depending upon what the medication is and why it is prescribed. You can get relief with 600 mg of aspirin... it's not the same with other medications because the compounds in the medicine are very different.
As far as the rest: He's off his rocker. I'd definitely peg him as a narcissist, possibly worse even. I do think he is a danger to his children given that he is so suicidal, as he clearly stated. The hallucinations are also a huge factor. Clearly, he's got major issues... kids would just make him worse because of the added stress. You can also pretty much bet that he is also on other medications also. Lithium is rarely the only medication prescribed for Bipolar Disorder. There are usually other medications prescribed in addition to the lithim.
I will also say this... Bipolar is classified as a mental disorder. Narcissism is classified as a personality disorder. They are very different and the treatment for each is very different. Most people with narcissism NEVER get better ... because they simply don't think that anything is wrong with them in the first place. They truly believe that the problem is everyone else, not them. So they rarely seek treatment and if they do, they rarely continue it for long. It's very difficult to treat because of the perception that the person has because of the narcissism.
I absolutely believe that it is possible Mica was misdiagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. CPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) can totally look like Bipolar Disorder and many people, including myself, have been incorrectly diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. CPTSD is extremely common in abusive situations like this. I know because I was in one for several years. And if you are so manipulated, by a narcissist, you will believe that it is you that is crazy and will do anything that you are told to do ... including taking medications for Bipolar Disorder that you don't actually have. At one point, I couldn't even write my own name... that's how messed up it can be. They make you think you are crazy so you will be medicated and more compliant. Also, they get even more control over you because you are Bipolar... control over finances even... everything, which adds to the difficulty of getting out of situations like this. I didn't even have access to my own money. I wasn't allowed to have a debit card ... or a phone. I got help from people on the internet (which I don't recommend for obvious reasons... I was lucky in that regard). Anyway, I digress. Sorry. It's just a situation that I know A LOT about because I lived it and I had to study it in order to get out of it. I realize my exact situation may not be exactly like Mica's... because we are not the same people, so spare me about projection. I'm not projecting, I just know the probabilities in these kinds of situations and I will be screaming it until people understand. Too long, I know, but someone has to say it all. Women in these kinds of situations need people to listen to them. They need a lot of help and understanding.

What happened is this: he talked her into getting a breast augmentation and convinced her to marry him in secret so he could "care for her" during her recovery without them "living in sin." After the surgery Mica had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and this is when he somehow got her to grant him Power of Attorney over her medical care.

It's fascinating to see mainstream news reporting information average people who care have already come across some time ago... And it was evident to most normal people ages ago that ruling Mica's death a suicide with nothing further to investigate is an equal crime in my opinion of ineptitude and lack of interest when the costs were so high to one poor woman. It doesn't actually take a great investigator to have figured there was something very wrong with this whole picture a very long time ago. Even so, Justice for poor Mica. Please do a timeline of the day of her death. The 911 call sounds like it's made inside. If it was inside her car, some have said that it's a 17 minute walk to area her body was found and that the Sheriff's dept. got there in 9 minutes and the park superintendent was called within a few minutes of call. If the above is true, all should have heard the gun shot! I am really interested in the timeline.
