What the American parks don't realize is that people LOVE the Country Bears! I was there during the off season and It was packed. I was there for it's anniversary and we had an epic crowd in our showing that clapped along for every song, cheered every bear, and sang along! It was amazing and I'm glad I got it on film. Hoping to post it soon. I hear they are very popular in Japan due to their love of quaint cozy and corny country culture from America, and anthropomorphic bears (Just look to Pooh for this).

If you did master memory of the English script or understand Japanese than you definitely got the only perfect original country Bear jamboree experience in the world
indeed. Christmas & Vacation are Similar yet different to their dearly missed American Counterpart. (The song Shaker sings in Tokyo's version of "Vacation" almost went into the American version.)
Unlike current Disney, OLC is only 2 happy 2 spend a $ & a $ & a $ 2 make sure that absolutely everything in their Disneyland is absolutely gorgeous! Compared 2 these bears, WDW's look old & ratty by comparison!

Since we have the unedited original soundtrack with the Pepsi and Frito-Lay references it might be possible to use this footage to recreate the original 1971 WDW program in HD by synching that soundtrack to this.
Man I cannot believe how good this show looks compared to what is now in WDW. The Bears are so expressive and their mannerisms fluid. Now in WDW I doubt that anyone can see Terrance/Shaker's eyebrows move to the drum beat and understand that's the gag and not the random drumming that comes up suddenly at the song. Henry's movements has he introducer's the band's instruments and mime's their instruments are so fluid/ Teddibearas feet swing to the beat and not the awkward binary flick they do in WDW's. These are the bears I remember seeing in 1999, the new fur makes them look older and the aces are so rigid that you can barely get a performance out of them. Please Disney, please update CBJ to match what Japan has now.

I would wager they’re going to update all the animatronics to be electric instead of hydraulic, which will help with upkeep and longevity. Plus it’ll be easier to change their programming for different shows!

Me too because Devilish Mary is the only song Z sings in the original show. He sings in the vacation hoedown and Christmas show but this is the only with the 5 bear rugs singing altogether. Even if Jeb and Tennesse have only a small singing part. I miss this at Disney world. One day I really want to go to Tokyo Japan and watch the full original show and Christmas special jingle jamboree and vacation hoedown. The vacation hoedown is called the vacation jamboree over there. They love the word jamboree! Also I would get some official merchandise!

The only thing about the Japanese version of the Country Bear Jamboree is they retained the English songs. And the animatronics are more simplified than our version at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. In fact, even Buff, Melvin, and Max, are all simplified than our Buff, Melvin, and Max. In our country, they're original than what you expect from the Japanese version, but a bit revamped.
But let's not hinder the location of Disneyland, which is in place of residence: California. Not only do they spare the looks of Buff, Melvin, and Max, but they originally kept the original talking in English, before re-locating it in Florida in the mid-2000s and 2010's decade.

Why do liver lips mcgrowls song is not japanese?
All songs in the original show except for Wendell’s, and Sammy and Henry’s songs are not dubbed in Japan
I'm assuming because Liver Lip McGrowl's song is by a guest star. Same with the Sunbonnets etc
