Awesome walk through! I installed the radiator today during my lunch break at work. I have a leak now but it isn’t from the radiator now.

I had to replace the radiator in my 2006 Escalade this past weekend and I was lucky enough to find this video first. Great instructions, and the work went off without a hitch (not normally the case with me). I tried to fiddle with those transmission line clips with a small screwdriver at first then went to the auto parts store and got a pick set, glad I did. The $12 pick set was well worth it and made things so much easier to remove those clips. Thank you for the thorough step by step video.

Love the step by step video. I took my 08 Caddy ESV to mechanic and they wanted over $1,100.00 to replace it and do some other BS that was not needed. Decided my son and I have enough to change it out ourselves. (we have a lil experience changing radiator on our 95 chevy truck). Your video gave us the extra steps to watch for when replacing radiator on our Caddy. Thank you. Very good content

Awesome video. This will make doing this radiator way easier. I've replaced multiples radiators but not in the escalade yet. So this should make the job a lot easier. Now that I know exactly what tools I will need. Pretty sure my radiator cracked on the drivers side. From what I have read these are notorious for cracking. Between sitting for years before I bought it and it having a bubble in the system. I'd imagine it was just doomed to go bad once I refilled it. So far I have done headliner, pinstriping, replaced all 4 tires, new battery, recharged a/c system, Reran two rear brake lines, replaced the spare tire crane, and replaced the fuel pump. At some point the old parts will stop failing.

@@Marty09933 yes sir about 30 minutes in and old radiator is out. It's cold here today so I came in to warm up. The only thing I forgot was to get distilled water for my concentrate antifreeze. So I will have to run down to the local dollar general and grab some. Otherwise it's going smooth. I just took the fan off after removing upper radiator hose and oil line. That gave huge access to everything else. I was able to get everything from the top of the vehicle. But everything is spot on. I took off the plastic cover I think it was 8mm and also the intake stuff with a screwdriver. All might be in the video but I skipped around to the important bits like removing clips etc. Since I am familiar with these types of jobs. Thanks to people like yourself for making quality content and helping people.

Lol what state you in that it’s cold I’m in Amarillo Texas. We’re sitting at 63°. Not too bad well good luck hope everything comes out good you’re killing it.
